I am a current student starting 7th grade. I have been here since third grade, but overall, it is…read moreamazing. Our school has a motto, KSRR, (kind, safe, respectful, and responsible) and it is implemented in our heads every PBIS assembly. It is an amazing environment too and other non asians are accepted more and more. I love all of my previous teachers and will do anything to get them back. Bullying isn't an issue, but there is slight teasing. However, if you can get out of the wrong friend groups, it is a perfect school. Oh yeah! Laptops! Our school uses computers all day starting from third grade, and ipad before that. Ipads are provided by the school and so are laptops, however, students can bring their own Macbook if desired. In sum, a great, accessible school!

School is good; I really appreciate the education system, but teacher behavior needs improvement…read more Teachers should not be biased or yell at small children, as they are also learning the same things. During lunchtime and break, some cafeteria staff yell harshly, and even classroom teachers often show favoritism. They tend to support students who excel academically and compare them with others, which can make the other children feel undervalued. This negative treatment can lead to kids not wanting to go to school. Additionally, some parents give expensive gifts to teachers, which creates an unfair environment for those kids who cannot bring such gifts and thus do not receive as much attention from the teacher. If a child performs well in previous grades but suddenly gets poor results in the other grade, it doesn't necessarily mean that the child isn't good; it often indicates how a student's performance can decline when a new teacher takes over and does not treat them well. I usually don't write reviews, but my kids suffer a lot because of bad teachers, and I don't want the other kids to suffer because of the teacher. Teachers should not bring their personal problems into the classroom and take their frustrations out on students. It is essential for management to ensure that teachers receive proper training so that children look forward to going to school, rather than feeling scared of their teachers. This change could positively impact their education and results.

This school has exceeded our expectations in every way. What really stands out is the personal connection they build not only with the students, but with the parents as well. The principal and teachers have been incredible, showing consistent dedication, support, and care. We have nothing but great things to say about this school. All of our children are now enrolled, and we're excited to see their continued growth and the relationships they'll build here. We highly recommend this school to any family looking for a strong, Christ-centered education.

From day one, it was clear that the leadership team has built a strong, positive school culture focused on high expectations, meaningful relationships, genuine care for students, and Christian values. The leadership team sets the tone for excellence, and it shows in every aspect of the school. The teachers and staff are not only highly skilled, but also deeply committed to supporting each student as an individual. My daughter has truly thrived this year, largely because of the personal connections she's built with her peers and teachers and the consistent encouragement she's received. Communication has been outstanding--I always feel informed about her academic progress and supported as a parent. The school also offers a wide range of opportunities for students to explore their interests, from sports and extracurricular activities to electives and mini-courses, allowing every child to find and explore their passion. I also deeply appreciate the school's diverse community, which creates an inclusive and enriching environment for all students. I feel confident that my daughter is not only prepared, but excited and ready for high school. She transferred from a very small private school and Heights provided the perfect transition and preparation to a larger high school setting next year. Heights has exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

Also, she comes home starving, about to pass out. So, I ask her what's wrong. She said she didn't like the lunch, and that's all they had. This school would be much better if you got the right fundings to at least allow another option for the students. If that was done, and discipline was better, this school would definitely be much better for the comfortability for students. Also, students of disabilities, should be treated with a bit more discipline. The people there let one student I have heard my daughter mention named Kayla, do whatever they want. This is not good for any students with disabilities. And, they need to notice more about kids with mental health problems. This would make students feel much better.
