The teachers and staff not only care about their students academically but their character as well. WCHS set our oldest up to graduate college in 3 years and our second is on his path to be well prepared for his future as well. We are glad we chose this school!

Both my wife and I are long time public school staff members and had many choices about where our kids went. WCHS has been the perfect choice. The campus is immaculate; always clean and perfectly manicured. The staff are fantastic and we are picky. They have a full honors program which is also accredited. We have encountered some gifted teaching staff, truly caring about the subject they teach, how it is taught, and the well being of the students as people. They have very professionally trained armed campus supervisors, yes I said armed. I know that may not be a typical comment to state, but sadly in this day and age it is absolutely a fantastic feeling knowing instant safety response is present and a deterrent at your student's school. The athletic facilities are first rate. Go see the gymnasium, baseball field/cages, softball field, outdoor courts and unreal weight room. Top shelf stuff. The programs have high caliber athletes with CIF championships and D1 commits in multiple sports. They play Big time schools and compete. They have multiple CIF All league players. The extra activities for students are unreal: something for everyone going on all the time. Dances, theatre, clubs you name it. It is very safe and welcoming. Perfect size as well, the student body being around 500 makes for a great mix of academics, athletics and solid character development. No fights on campus, clean facilities with a manicured campus, high academic rigor is the dream of all parents for their kids. The last piece should probably have been my lead, the Head of School their is a strong moral leader who has a strong modern leadership base, he treats everyone like they are the most important person on campus. Look no further for your kid, this is the place both you and your student will love!

Vidales she is a study skills teacher and she might be in other classes, I have told the school about this and the school too has treated me like an outcast I was being called to the vice principals office almost everyday bc of my messy backpack and they only have a three strike policy for there locker rooms if you forget to close your locker three times you will be kicked out for like a week that's bs right there and another thing is they do not care about your mental health they say they do but they don't, I don't recommend this school for any kid

I was disappointed in how they initially tried to close out the matter, but after about a month of back-and-forth with both the district and the school administration, we were able to reach an agreement that ultimately worked in my favor. Up until this point, I've never had any issues with teachers or staff in the Fullerton School District. My son has been in the district for eight years, and everything had been positive--until the last month and a half of his eighth-grade year, when things began to unravel. The school itself, including how certain things are handled, can be questionable, so I strongly recommend asking the right questions. There's also been quite a bit of transition recently, with some faculty leaving or retiring, and both the principal and vice principal still fairly new in their roles. If something feels off, trust that instinct and speak up. Keeping open communication is key when things don't seem right. I'm keeping my rating at three stars because I'm not satisfied with how everything was handled overall. That said, my son did complete his final year in this district, and I'm hopeful that the district will follow through on what was agreed. If they do, I'll be able to move forward without any lingering frustration.

First of all, I ended up getting an illness because of the moldy walls and roofs. There were literally holes in the roofs the school refused to take care of! I had to get my tonsils removed because of this. Then, the kids. These kids are far from friendly. I saw a kid literally get forced to eat some bird crap. The kid grabbed the other but the neck and yelled out "eat it!" Then there's that unfriendly lunch lady. She's older so I get it, but you don't always have to yell at the kids for "making too much noise" opening a bag of chips...That actually happened I'm not joking. Then Mrs. Haworth, the K-1 teacher. She treated us badly when we were all in kindergarten. And then the reason I left the school...These two grown ahh parents decided they had nothing better to do, so they spend time terroizing the school and the kids who lived in the neighborhood. I will only say that the mom's name starts with an M and the same for the dad. They try to get you on their side, and then they convince you to do horrible stuff. They egged our car one night because we wouldn't get on their side. Stay clear of Olita. Update: Mrs V did nothing to take care of this...

I have loved the kindergarten and 1st grade teacher my kiddo had. They are so caring and love what they do! I have also been so impressed with how considerately the superintendent of the district Jim Coombs keeps all the parents in the loop on any security concerns regarding our children. I couldn't have asked for a better district and school for my kiddos to attend!
