(3/5) Our experience…read morewith Risewell Homes was a mix of excellent customer service from the sales team and a very frustrating experience with construction and warranty support. First, I want to recognize Alex and our customer manager. They made us feel valued even after we became homeowners, which we truly appreciated. Their professionalism and continued support made us feel like we were still important to them after the sale. Unfortunately, our experience with the construction team, particularly Mike, was the complete opposite. During our move-in walkthrough, Mike rushed us through the inspection, saying he had other appointments and needed to hurry. We didn't feel we were given enough time to properly inspect our home. He also dismissed several legitimate concerns and even made light of some of the issues we raised. We had to repeatedly insist that many items be documented before they were finally added to the list. In contrast, the other construction managers we interacted with were much more professional, patient, and genuinely cared about resolving our concerns. Even after the walkthrough, it took three separate service visits to complete many of the repairs. After moving in, we submitted two warranty requests during our first week. Nearly a month later, they still had not been fully resolved. We also had a thermostat issue where Mike told us he had already contacted the HVAC contractor. When I called the contractor myself, I learned they had not even received the request until about two weeks after we submitted it. I ultimately had to coordinate much of the resolution myself, which should not have been necessary. While we like our home overall, we've also noticed that the paint finish and some of the woodwork don't seem to match the quality we expected in a new construction home. There are also areas where Risewell could improve customer satisfaction, such as allowing small customization requests, using elongated toilets instead of round ones, and installing higher-quality fixtures in the highest trim packages. We enjoy our new home, but the move-in and warranty process was far more stressful than it should have been. I hope Risewell continues to improve its construction quality and warranty experience, as the sales team set a much higher standard than what we experienced after closing.

SELLER BEWARE: Read more closely the "OTHER AGREEMENTS" and "DEPOSIT" sections of the contract…read morebefore signing (see attached images). The purchase agreement my wife signed (upon further review) favors the buyer more than the seller. Go with these folks only if you are desperate to get rid of a property no matter how much money you'll get for it. But if you do want a favorable deal, know that with Superior Homebuyers, we have no protections if all of a sudden, a "financial partner" doesn't want to fund this purchase with less than a week to go before escrow closes, which is what happened to us. Then suddenly without notice, they called us back and said they found a financial partner after a weekend. The "Earnest Money Deposit" favors the buyer--if the agreement gets canceled for whatever reason, the seller loses out on time and effort in communication with our tenant (if you still have one on the property you want to sell) and your employees. Based on my experience, whenever Superior Homebuyers wants to reach out to us, we have been diligent in responding to text messages or calling back. If I need to contact someone over something that's not favorable to this purchase, then I get no courtesy calls back or text responses. Employees are suddenly out of town. They are more like Inferior than Superior Homebuyers. I wrote a letter and mailed it recently, describing how these people who work for this company lost my trust, and as of today (July 9), I've only heard back from one employee, a Chris Hernandez who understood all the problems I listed in my letter to the company's founder/president. Hernandez told me to call back within a week if the owner does not call or write me back. Still have not received a phone call or letter from the firm's president. In fact, when I tried calling the Irvine office the other day, I kept getting a not-in-service message from the phone company.
