    Yesterday, I visited The Design Center with the intention of purchasing multiple pieces of…read morefurniture, however, walked out on the sale due to the age profiling and lack of customer service that I received during my visit. Upon my arrival, I was quickly bucketed into the category of a "non-serious customer" due to my age. I was not welcomed or acknowledged by a single member of the service team during my 30 minute visit. It was not until I asked for help that I was rudely "greeted" by Mark. Mark was obviously annoyed that he had been asked to "waste" his time with a customer he deemed unfit of a large purchase. During our conversation, not only was he extremely unhelpful, but unwilling to answer my minimal questions. When he did answer, it was in a condescending tone. Disgusted by the way I was treated, I walked out on the sale. I encourage management to educate their staff on the negative effects of age profiling.

I waited for him to come into work called emailed I used to work in sales so wanted him to get credit. Called at 5 for him to set things up told him would be there at 7!to sign when I got there parts of the set were sold an he didn't call to tell us he didn't even tell us when we got there he tried to ring it up bait n switch which is not legal. His manager participated in the entire mess. My sons farther called him out on it and he started yelling ant him in the store with my son present. I could not even believe this was coming from this sweet old man it wa like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Please don't waste your time here these people are awful. Expecally "BoB". Not an honest store at all!! A bunch of liars. Thank you!!

If you choose a firmer or softer cushion than their standard firmness, the upcharge is $200 per cushion. Lead times are usually 6-8 weeks.

    Our experience with La-Z-Boy was extremely disappointing and did not meet expectations for product…read morequality or customer service. The issue began immediately upon delivery of our loveseat. The cushions were significantly firmer and less comfortable than the model we tested in the showroom. When we contacted customer service, we were advised to wait 30 days for a break-in period. After doing so, we were then told no action could be taken because the 30-day window had passed, which was frustrating given we had followed their guidance. A technician later confirmed that the cushions we received were not the same as those originally presented to us. Despite this, no meaningful resolution was offered. Over time, additional problems developed. The loveseat became unstable and made loud noises when reclining. After multiple service visits, we were eventually offered a replacement. We selected a new loveseat at a lower price point, and were told the difference would be credited to our La-Z-Boy Synchrony credit account. However, the credit was incorrectly applied to a different card used only for the initial deposit. Unfortunately, the replacement loveseat also developed a defect within two weeks, requiring another service interaction. We were sent a replacement part and expected to complete the repair ourselves. Overall, the experience was marked by inconsistent communication, unresolved product concerns, and a lack of follow-through. Given the reputation of the brand, we expected a much higher level of quality and customer care.
