When I came across Velez's website, I sent an email through the Contact section. Within an hour, I received a response. I sent a few photos of the tub for a quote and I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience within two weeks. The price was the best by far for competitors in the area. The team worked quickly and the refinishing process took several hours. My bathroom was left clean and the tub looks absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't even realize the tub is original to my 40s house. I couldn't be happier with the result. Did I mention the 5 year guarantee they provide? Just a little added bonus.

So happy with the results from Christian Brothers Hardwood Floors! My floors were an absolute mess…read morein my new house (water stains, mismatched wood, clearly very neglected over the years) and as a first-time home buyer, I didn't really know where to start or how the process worked. Luckily, Brian and his team were super helpful. They explained to me what my options were, started work the same week I first inquired, helped me choose a stain that would best suit my floors and worked quickly to accommodate my move-in date. I'm so impressed with how the floors turned out -- they look EXCELLENT and make a huge difference with how my whole house looks. Such a great value for a reasonable price, can't recommend these guys enough.

They put new wood in, and stained it the color I chose. They sanded down a few of the bedrooms that already had hardwood, and there is a clear discoloration in the wood surrounding the perimeter of the rooms. It's very noticeable. On top of that, I've never seen hardwoods that dent so easily (where the new wood was put in). I've dropped a cup in the kitchen and it put a huge dent in the floor. Everyday things that should not scuff up wood floors put dents in these floors. 1 year after installation my entire kitchen and living room look like absolute shit because we used these guys. (We've barely lived in the house and the floors look like trash). Putting rugs down. Never again. From now on we'll do it ourselves, there's no way it could come out any worse.

Carpet Village is why I continue to support local, small businesses. To make a long story short, my…read morehusband and I purchased our first home and were extremely excited to move in. Before we could do so, we needed our carpets fixed. I called several (and I mean several) companies to get our carpets restretched as the original installers (a large, well known corporate hardware store) did a horrible job with installment services and all of the other companies I called told me they would not do "just a restretch". I was left with virtually no options, but then stumbled on Carpet Village. George was a delight. From the beginning he heard my concerns and assured me they would be able to assist. Michael came to do the work and he was just as lovely as George. He completed the work efficiently and with a smile. They both helped relieve so much stress and their work was thorough. George even followed up with me the next day to make sure the quality of the service was to my liking. They treat their customers how they want to be treated, have reasonable prices, do a great job, and have great customer service. They surpassed my expectations and I will definitely use them in the future- and you should too! Thank you George and Michael!
