Generally I like Pet Co, they have been my preferred pet shop in the past. Maybe not this one…read morethough. Today I cam in to by a pet-safe bark collar for my dogs. It sprays a scent less or citronella mist if it detects barking. It's completely safe. But see, when I'm gone my dogs tend to bark at strangers on the sidewalk and I live right on the street so there is a lot of foot traffic. Now when I'm home it's not an issue. But when I'm gone the dogs are more protective of the property and they are big dogs. With big barks and it upsets my neighbors. The dogs don't just bark, its always to alert but I understand. The bark collar gives them a reminder not to. Today Austin a young man in wearing a unbuttoned flannel shirt instead of the uniform informed me they wouldn't be carrying the product any longer because "dogs don't learn that way" I reminded him that this was a collar for my 2nd dog because the product works well on my first dog. So.... nonsense. He replied "sounds like they need more training". It was a snippy arrogant comeback from a young man with a fraction of my life experience. Besides the rude comment, the store obviously 1 doesn't care that barking animals can get you into trouble with the city, the HOA etc. Their class isn't available at a moments notice so whats a pet owner to do in the meantime? Who cares! Selling a product means a smaller profit margin than their class. Let's pretend that my dogs behavior in front of a barking dog in their store wasn't used as an example of what good training could do, and that I trained the dog myself. But these are intelligent animals and no amount of training can grunted everything. Dumping a perfectly fine safe product to make an extra buck is not a substitute. The smartest and best educated species on this planet still requires, police, courts and prisons. I've trained more dogs than Austin has seen in his life. Pet-co is not the end all and be all or final word in animal training and as far as I can tell could care less about animals (they are pulling a safe product that could at least get a dog through until their class) in order to make a buck off of reward traing. Which IS good training. But your not home to reward a dog for not barking at a scary drug addict 6 feet from the fence (who he SHOULD bark at). The consumer needs these harmless stop gaps, and if your going to make me shop on line to buy my product (such as refills) why shop in your big box store at all? May as well do all my shopping on line and save myself some money. Plus no rude employee to impart all 25 years of his life experience thats advanced him to stocking shelved at a pet-co.

Every time I go to this one, they are rude, must be a requirement for employment. I went in for a…read morescratching post the 1 I needed was damaged and I made the mistake to ask if they had any more, so basically NO they don't keep any of them in stock so buy the damaged or not! OH, wait I could order 1 but when I tried that their system was down. no wonder they are never busy! I'm not thinking the store cares that was obvious when I was there so why would I call them! JUST GOES TO SHOW PETCO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS!

I would give less stars if I based my review on my recent experience but I am going to rate higher…read morebecause all of our previous appointments were great. We bring 3 of our furbabies to Lovet and always had a positive experiences. We always do the first morning appointment and the woman that greets us is always kind. Typically Zachary sees our Bella and is very thorough and explains everything. Techs have all been amazing and show compassion with our pups. Yesterday we took Bella in for her annual check up and some vaccines. The doc we had wasn't one we had before but she literally spent less than 5 minutes with us. Didn't ask us any questions. Just was quick, administered the vaccines and took off and her tech took over the rest. $80 for what? It's not like she was super busy, overbooked or behind. Appointments are what? 30 mins? I even made a comment to the tech how crazy quick that was and she replied saying well we don't want to keep you here all day. I get that and appreciate that. But 5 mins? Just the lack of any sense the doc cared is what bothered me the most. We live in a 15 mile radius of 8 Lovet locations so I guess we will try another location next time. Suggestion for the App developers: Please add the dogs vaccine history and transaction history on our profiles. It will help allow us that have to budget to plan our expenses better.

I'm writing this today after saying goodbye to our precious family dog Arthur a yellow labrador,…read morewhom we have had for over 13 years. Arthur had a few issues going on and when it became evident that the meds prescribed weren't going to improve his quality of life. We decided that the correct thing to do was to say goodbye. His arthritis and anemia had gotten into his legs so much he kept falling constantly. The staff could not have been any nicer and Arthur easily drifted into sleep after a sedative so much that he was snoring loudly. DR Notario then entered the room and administered the lethal dose. Arthur did not feel a thing and it was a very humane way for him to go. There is no easy way to do this and we as a family are devastated, he is gone we will never see or hug him again and are going to miss Arthur so much. Anyway 10/10 to Pet life for making this as stress free as possible. We are going to grieve his passing for a while but when we do decide we are ready for another dog, we for sure will let Pet-Life be his/her vets.

Extreme lack of follow up. Had to have the surgery again to close the wound back up. Second time again, a "tech" was going to remove the stitches. I refused. Last follow up I requested for a refill went unanswered. Better off doing the surgery at home with a butter knife and duct tape.

Almost 10 years ago, I used this company when we said goodbye to our girl, Minnie. My previous…read morereview goes into detail on that. So when we recently decided it was that time to say goodbye to Georgia, I decided to reach out to VVMVS again. Similar to my last experience, the team was super empathetic and professional on the phone, and we scheduled our appointment for a few days later. Dr. Kormos and Alicia cam out this time and helped facilitate another peaceful passing. They were communicative about timing on the day of the appointment. My daughter and our other dog were there and while we were all very emotional, I'm glad that we could surround Georgia with love as we watched her go. We miss her beyond words but are also relieved that she is no longer in pain. We will cherish the paw print and all of the memories and carry Georgia in our hearts with us always. If you are in this predicament and seeking an in-home visit of any sort for your pet, I do recommend Valet Vet.

Dr. Carrie has always been incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She genuinely treats Smoke as if she matters, and I never feel rushed or dismissed. I am so grateful to have found a vet I trust with my senior girl. Highly recommend!
