They called us immediately to get us scheduled and were out the same day. Unfortunately we required a full replacement. They were meticulously detailed in the request to home warranty which I believe helped us get approval within a few days. Monique spoke with me several times walking me through the process. She worked hard to get the equipment as quickly as possible and even made additional calls to the supplier to track down a part that was expected to take an additional 2 weeks to arrive. Every technician that was involved in our repair/ replacement was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Chris even spend addition time with us once it was completed explaining the system and gave us a few tips to maintain our new system. Our family is forever grateful for the exception service we experienced with this company.

I would definitely recommend Central Air Inc. for any and all of your A/C repairs and installs.

I have been a customer of Hawley Air Conditioning & Heating for many years, and I cannot recommend…read moreMr. Hawley and his team highly enough. They are much more than HVAC technicians. They approach their work like true engineers, with an incredible depth of knowledge and attention to detail. Just as importantly, they have always been exceedingly honest, straightforward, and fair with me. About ten years ago, Mr. Hawley replaced the air conditioning system at our condo and did a fantastic job. This summer, the roughly 30-year-old system at our current house finally gave out. Despite it being the middle of summer, Mr. Hawley squeezed us into the schedule in less than a week and gave us a very good deal on a new Daikin heat pump system. He spent a great deal of time explaining the differences between a heat pump and a traditional HVAC system, answering my questions, and helping me understand why it made sense for our house. I really appreciated being educated rather than simply sold a piece of equipment. Hawley is also one of the companies in Bakersfield with the expertise to install and properly configure these kinds of heat pump systems. The team did a fantastic job completely retrofitting our system, and the difference inside the house is remarkable. The temperature is much more consistent and comfortable, the system is highly efficient, and ours also includes an ionizing air-cleaning system that helps remove particles from the air. It is rare to find a company that combines this level of technical expertise with genuine integrity and customer service. Hawley Air Conditioning & Heating has earned my trust over many years, and they will continue to be the first people I call for any HVAC needs in the future. Highly recommended.

After having my AC unit serviced by South Valley AC & Heating, I started experiencing an…read moreintermittent issue where the compressor would stop running while the indoor fan continued blowing warm air. If I shut the system off for a while and turned it back on, it would sometimes work again--but the problem was inconsistent and difficult to reproduce. What really impressed me was South Valley AC & Heating's commitment to making it right. They came back out three additional times as a courtesy to diagnose the problem. The first two visits were challenging because the compressor was working normally when they arrived, so there wasn't an obvious issue to find. On the third visit, they happened to arrive while the compressor was acting up, which allowed them to identify and fix the problem. I really appreciated that they stood behind their work and didn't give up just because the issue was intermittent. They were professional, responsive, and genuinely wanted to make sure my AC was working properly before considering the job finished. It's easy to provide good service when the problem is obvious. It's much harder to stick with a customer through an intermittent issue, and that's exactly what South Valley AC & Heating did. I highly recommend them for their honesty, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Now it is the son…read more Paul installed two mini splits in 2022 and with another company installed solar panels shortly thereafter. The first mini split leaked freon so they came back to flush and reinstall. I don't use it often, but turn it on periodically, let it run and clean the filters constantly. The unit stopped working after one day. I had to call someone on the mountain to come before I left the country. They told me what had to be done. I called Paul and as usual he was very condescending (maybe it's why others complained of this). He cut me off and repeated a false narrative of what I said. The new workers heard him and they were shocked of how he was so disrespectful and gave some goofy explanation of what was wrong and that it was my fault as I didn't treat it like a car that sits constantly. The workers were shocked when they found the issue (but didn't try to blame anyone). The workers that fixed it live locally and have an incredible reputation. I will never use Paul again. I work in an industry with mostly men and they have always treated me with respect, unlike Paul.
