A nightmare scenario: Bakersfield in Summer and the Air Conditioner goes out! You call Oasis and scream "HELP!" That's exactly what we did! Dean and Keyshawn to the rescue. They came much earlier than expected, both extremely friendly and knowledgeable and saved us from melting. We have used this company for years and like them and recommend them. They come out twice a year to inspect and we are very pleased. Oh, we didn't melt, thanks to Oasis! read more

I was told by another company that it would be a good idea to think about replacing my A/C. After waiting almost a month for an estimate and never getting one, I called Oasis after they were recommend by my neighbor. I was given an appointment the day after I called. Chris came out and figured out what I needed. He gave me an estimate that was reasonable, in my opinion including a warranty. I was sent an email contract that I signed immediately. Three days later, measurements were taken and I was told the install would happen the next Monday. Brody and Brian arrived on time and handled everything. They installed the A/C, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector. I was shown how to use the new, fancy thermostat and they were done. I called the office to make my payment. Done! I'm so happy and so relieved...and so incredibly cool! read more

Oasis Air and Solar - New thermostat. So high tech compared to my ancient one - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Bakersfield, California

Great service. Great people. They come out twice a year and check out our AC/Heater unit.

Several problems with this company. I am absolutely freezing. Have paid them 3 times this year to fix my air conditioning and heating. Its freezing outside and my air conditioning wont shut off. They told me over a month ago they shut them both off, waiting for new unit. the heating has also came on. I had to remove thermostat from wall to turn it off. These people are killing me. I am 67 year old disabled person. This company has bad qualified employees. We had used them for years, no more. They also know I am s recent widow with no assistance. read more

Oasis response time was fantastic - especially when out A/C was out and it was 105 degrees. They diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes. The part was delivered without the technician ever leaving the house. They fixed the issue and we had our A/C back again. Bonus - it was covered with the warranty. read more

Never use this business. I used this business and a technician cam and said she need something I didn't need because he wanted to get off work to to his daughters ceremony at school. Although I agree with family first. He should have asked for the day off! So this company doesn't care about customers! read more

Just had Oasis come out and do the first inspection since we switched over from using the Butterfly people. The technician checked everything found a few things that needed a little bit of help and fix them without telling us our units were in need of repairs. This is the first time ever that we weren't told it was going to cost us thousands of dollars to get them up and running properly. He also showed us how the others weren't removing the panels when supposedly cleaning the unit. I am so happy we finally decided to switch companies and I can't be happier now that we are using Oasis. read more

Really nice people. Great response time for repairs. PROBLEM- several repairs (not under warranty-had to pay for) required after installing NEW unit. did I get a lemon or are their materials junk?? would NOT recommend. read more

I had Oasis install our solar system. I chose them because they are locally owned and have been in business over 50 years. They were the only company I could find who warranties their solar panels without referring back to the manufacture. They also had USA made solar panels as an option, which I insisted on. All of my friends have PG&E true up bills at the end of the year. I never have a true up bill, in fact PG&E even owe me, so I know they sized my system correctly. They have great customer service and are very knowledgeable. read more

My husband and I have used Oasis AC and Heating for 2 years as a recommendation from our wonderful neighbors. We are first time home owners in Bakersfield, leaving LA after 45 years of renting. JULIAN, a technician with Oasis, is THE BEST!! Julian shows an exuberant and positive attitude doing his job, asks permission to perform services and obviously loves his job and people. We have requested Julian be the only technician to service our AC and heating system. He is remarkably knowledgeable about all aspects of the AC/heating profession. Thank you, Oasis AND JULIAN! See you this winter. read more

1st. I have had them install 4 HVAC unit for me. I relied on them to present the best options. I chose what they stated were good units, and three years later when they are breaking down, they tell me I should have chosen a different unit. 2. They do not offer and/or honor labor warranties. This, a few years later when your units are breaking down, the parts are covered but you are going to pay them for diagnosis and then also labor. 3. They are very expensive. Not the most expensive, but still very expensive. The person I replaced them with, who is reputable commonly comes in at half their price. 4. Lastly, I made a personal contact at this company who I discussed a specific situation with, and said they would look into it.... nothing happened. No call back, no follow up, no change in the situation. Sadly, I regret ever doing business with them. I think they used to be better than they are now. It takes a long time to learn hard expensive lessons about HVAC units. Beware read more

Had my AC replaced because it was old and was not working properly. Josh and Lalo came to work on our AC and I give them 5 stars super nice people, very informative, and super respectful. They made sure I was informed on everything they were doing, they cleaned up everything afterwards, and they made sure I have all the information I need even after the installation just in case something happens. read more

A pleasure doing business with them. In addition to servicing our units, they replaced an older unit. Our AC died yesterday when it was 104 degrees. I called Oasis last night at 6 pm and left a message. I got a call back from someone about an hour later saying they would send someone today around noon. (Always GREAT business when someone gets back to you right away, especially after business hours!) The office staff is wonderful! Today Eddie came and diagnosed, repaired our AC, and serviced it for a super reasonable price. Eddie was kind, competent, professional, and prompt. It is obvious he takes an interest and pride in his job. His work was excellent. He explained everything to us. We were so happy with his work and his positive demeanor. We highly recommend Oasis. They always give great, fast, reasonable, and friendly service. Thank you, Eddie! We appreciate your hard work! You made our day. Well, our summer. :) read more

My AC went out the night before the hottest day of this year so far. I called a couple of places that night that were reportedly 24 hours but never received a call back. One didn't even get a message from their answering service (not sure how that's considered open 24 hours). They couldn't come for a few days and they recommended Oasis. They were able to come out less than 3 hours later. The repairman was friendly, efficient and he looked and acted professional. He took videos of all his tests on the roof, showed me, and demonstrated it on the parts again in front of me. That's a very good way to build trust and it was appreciated. I would highly recommend this company. read more

They came out twice... and I paid with nothing done.... I had a guy come out and he looked at the system and said I need a flushing of my primary drain and servicing. He would give my details to the office and they would quote me a price. Two weeks later still no call so I called them and they quoted a price. I said yes and made an appointment. When the appointment came the guy was in the attic for 5 mines and said he had to end the service because he found a leak in the primary drain pan and he needed a quote from the office to fix it.... Charged me $70 and said the office would call me for another quote!!!!!!@! Once again they never call... so I call them and they quote me $1200 to fix it.... I've had enough.... I payed there call out fee for nothing at all and then I get quoted crazy numbers.... Do not call this company. !!!!! It's been 6 weeks since I've first called them and all that has happened was I waited for technicians to arrive twice and paid $70 for no work to be done.......... read more

I called Oasis bc they installed my units when my home was built and we haven't had anything go wrong with them since it was built in 2006. Esteban helped me figure out the best way to go without trying to sell me on anything and when I decided to go with a new unit, he set up the follow up app for the same day with their new unit consultant. Quick, clean, courteous, etc. too. Good people. 5 stars read more

Oasis saved the day. My air conditioner went out the day before I was having 50 + people over in 107 weather. They were booked, when I explained the situation they said they would call if they got a cancellation. Long story short they came out the same day and got it fixed. They've got my business ! A few months ago I had Oasis repair some ducting in the AC and add air filters and scrubbers.I had previously used them for servicing the AC. On both occasions I found them easy to work with. We called this company out because of there so called reputation, after telling whoever on the phone what the issue was and set the appt..so far so good..they showed up right on time but as soon as he looked at it the price i was told for service call went up by 130 along with the 79, so then after arguing with me about what the issue was he told us they can order this part for $159.00 i then pretty much told them to put back what they had taken off and heres your 79 and leave..total scam on that part, I went online and bought the exact same part number he was going to order for 9.97 + tax went to a local store and bought it, 2 hrs later we fixed our own hearing element. I personally thought he was trying to rip me off and will never use them again. read more

Im giving this review for the receptionist. She was rude and I will never attempt to contact Oasis again.

Had regularly used Oasis for service and repairs. Service tech's we've have had always are nice. Just recently we had them out to check on one of our office units. Turns out a small motor was out in a unit. Oasis quoted me $450 to install a new motor. We checked online and that same motor was only $159 shipped on Amazon. The time required to install this small motor was less than a half an hour per the tech. Bottom line: Always double check your pricing for materials. There is some serious profit taking going on and an unwillingness to match pricing or even come close by Oasis. Good thing there are plenty of people out there to compete! read more

You guys Rock! Our heating system is nutty but you just keep coming back...Thank you!! Thank you! Thank you!!!

We have been having trouble heating and cooling a room in our newly built house. The builders keep telling us that it's working fine. So we called Oasis and they came out right away. The guy was so helpful and helped us figure out a solution to help cool the room. Very thorough. He actually knew what he was talking about unlike the guy that the boulders kept sending out! read more

I can only speak from my experience- from the initial phone call to final inspection the Oasis staff were professional. I was told several times that the air conditioner unit on my roof was mis-sized (when we purchased the home 8 years ago). It's an older home, so thought some of the air problems were just to due to age (airflow, overall coolness in the home). I finally broke down and called around for quotes. Had several companies come out, had several quotes and chose Oasis for the job, they were not the cheapest but the not the most expensive either. The installation was scheduled for a week- took 3.5 days to complete. They replaced the air conditioner, all the ductwork, installed a new (correctly sized returns) with new vents in all the rooms. They also upgraded the insulation in the attic and sealed any "air" leaking openings they found. The house is cooler, quieter and the overall air flow is 100% better. This summer we did see a huge drop in our energy use (by replacing our aging air conditioner) and with the new insulation keeping the home cooler longer during the day. If you are looking for air conditioning work- call OASIS read more
