I took my car to the Caliber Collision in Westminster for hail damage as my insurance referred me to them. I will tell you if I could give zero stars I would. It was absolutely horrible. I am still finding things that are off from what they did. They were to pull out the dents caused by the hail. Just dents on the exterior of the car. When I got my car back, the headliner which they had pulled off to fix the dents, was absolutely destroyed with grease finger prints. And I get it, your a mechanic and get dirty so one oops and then clean it off, get new gloves and proceed. But this person just continued on with reinstalling my headliner and my visors with greasy hands. They cleaned what they could but it's still not the way I had brought it to them. When I had pointed it out to the manager his response was that he didn't even think to look inside he was more concerned with what they did outside. He also said that the person who worked on my car was going to be fired anyway. Why the heck was someone they already know does a horrible job work on a client's car? Also when they had it cleaned he kept telling me how expensive it was. Like he was doing me a favor. When he asked if I was happy with the cleaning I said no and that the only thing that would fix it would be a new headliner to which he said "if I get a new headliner for you it would be from a junk yard and it would be in worse condition than this one." Great customer service there. When I took my car home, I also noticed that the hood now doesn't pop up which means when they put the hood back on, they didn't adjust the tension correctly. I also had no washer fluid b/c the spray nozzles weren't put back correctly. There was no quality check. The estimate was to have my car for 7 days and it was there for a month. Look I get it, things happen so I didn't complain until I got my car back in this condition. There is no excuse for this. I will NEVER bring my car back here and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. No respect for other people's property at all. And the responses i received from the manager were unacceptable from "I hope you leave us a good review" to "I don't know what the interior of your car looked like prior to coming here" (insinuating that the grease finger prints were from me!). Absolutely unacceptable. I can't image what other things are not right with my car that I am not aware of yet b/c of their incompetency. read more

They made my car good as new! The crew did an awesome job. Paint work is excellent. Customer service is top notch.

Awesome shop can't even tell my car was in an accident. Really nice people to deal with

This is the worst place to take your vehicle for repairs the young lady who was in charge of my vehicle getting fixed she is unprofessional nasty liar she told me my truck was gonna be ready before the 17 of November cause that's the last day for my rental that bitch didn't call me until 240 pm to let know it won't be ready until the 28 of November on the 16 I went there and told me it will be ready that Monday I'm so upset right all they do is take money from the Ansurance company and do the work as they please this is not supposed to take lightly she got on me for a tire that I went over and behind to get she was blaming me for not getting the tire to her so for her to call me with that BS I got to pay for another 2 weeks worth of rental this shit is not acceptable at all she's letting me know the of I'm supposed to drop off the rental read more

I made an appointment to drop off my car for a minor repair. Called them, emailed them, and called again to reconfirm the appointment. We went out of town, I drop off the car and get a call a day later asking why my car was there. They are closed all weekend and have no one answering their phone, so first thing on Monday morning I call and they are confused. They find the paperwork and tell me it will be a week to get a small door ding repaired, after I had dropped off 5 days ago. Very unreliable. read more

Bottom line up front: Truck turned in for service: Jan 10th 2022 Truck returned: Still held by Caliber today (Aug 16 2022) with no clear return date, and would like accountability. I am currently a customer working with Caliber Collision in Westminster, MD as of early January 2022 when my truck was hit in an accident. I had paired the claim with GEICO & the inspection/assessment began. I also utilized a car rental in the meantime. After the inspection, they scheduled parts to come in but gave a false deadline for when they would be in. A few weeks later after calling to get an update, they mentioned that the parts came in but found other parts that were required & had to put up another order. To note, this process of requiring more parts & saying "we don't know when the parts will be in" lasted for about 3-4 months. Caliber Collision then had to coordinate with my insurance company to request more funds than what was originally anticipated. About month 5, June 2022, Caliber Collision said they had to take the truck to a neighboring Caliber Collision since they noticed the frame was damaged and required a new frame. They had sent it to Caliber Collision in Havre De Grace, MD with, again, no timeline in sight and false promises for when it'll get done. Month 6, June 2022, the frame came in & they said it was damaged so they had to reorder another frame. We are now on month 8, Aug 2022, and the new frame did come in but additional small parts had to be in order, yet again with no end time in sight. A car rental thus far for about $80/mo would have cost about $20,000 by now out of my own pocket and not covered by insurance. As a current situation update, we were told last week, 3 Aug 2022, that the truck would be ready yesterday, 10 Aug 2022. It is 16 Aug 2022 and now John from Caliber Collision in Westminster says it won't be ready until 17th Aug. I'm only writing this to shed some light on my experiences with Caliber Collision in Westminster, MD. I've been having to constantly contact the company for any of these updates throughout the 8 months as well. The false promises and timelines have left me mistrusting the operations and handling of the store and would hopefully get acknowledged within the company so other clients won't have the same experience as I'm currently having. I had 2 vehicles sent to this location in Westminster, and while I cannot speak to the experience of others, mine was beyond all expectations. They were prompt with their response, there were delays, but Macy kept me up to date on the progress. They have mastered the art of caring or at least knowing that the biggest mistake others make is the lack of communication when the unexpected happens. Thanks for your attention to detail and caring enough about your customers to act accordingly. read more

What a joke. Here we are another 5 months and no response. In June 2022 we took our Jeep in for repairs after a small accident. Found the staff, (one girl in particular) to be rude and unhelpful. Repairs took a few days longer than expected but their communication on the status was poor. There was a new tire included in the repair and we asked that they not include (use the spare) as we were buying 4 new tires as soon as we received the Jeep back from Caliber. We were told by three different people, including their district manager that they would not include the tire. We get the Jeep back and there is a new tire included. When I complained the girl told me... "well you can sell it". When I complained on their reviews, they told me someone would get back with me. That was 3 months ago, and I still have not heard anything. Anyone want to buy an unused tire for a Jeep? Great repair job o my Santa Fe perfect! I had a bit of front end damage and it looks brand new. I also really appreciate they keep you up to date on repair progress read more

This place goes wayyyyy above and beyond! Everyone is super friendly. They were very accurate on the time frame my Jeep would be fixed. I had left something important in my car that they pulled out and set aside for me. I was able to do the after hours pick up and drop off my rental with no hassle at all. I am highly impressed with this center. I have to admit I was hesitant to use a "chain" center to fix my car bc I like to support smaller business' but I couldn't be happier! My car looks great! Hopefully I don't have to go back but if I do, I would choose here again. read more

Body work was ok. Typical body shop needing extra time to get the work done. They did keep me updated and worked to get the project done. The difficult issue with this shop is I paid them and the insurance company paid them. When I finally caught on that they were paid twice for a portion of the job, they told me they need six weeks to reimburse me for my overpayment. ThIs fact is very dicey and suggests very poor business practices. Possibly short on cash and ready to fold up the business. read more

I dropped my vehicle on a Monday at the randallstown location. Before, I walked out the door I asked clerk is there anything else that I need to do she said no. Tje next day I received a call that required me to go back to the randallstown location because they for got to have me sign to document to authorize them to start the work. Then the next day I get a call oh we have to transport your vehicle to the Westminster location because we are backed up. The total days required to replace my bumper and paint 9 to 10 days. I picked vehicle up and it was pouring down rain. When I got home the rain stopped. When I got out of the car I noticed that the bumper didn't look right. I called the randallstown location spoke to the manager and he told me to bring it right back. I took the car back he explained they didn't use a toyota bumper and that's why it looks like that. Long long story short. I'm still waiting for Tim to call me back from the Westminster location replace cheap non toyota bumper with the correct one. The worst experiences ever and I've used them twice in the past. Very disappointed. read more

Rick went out his way to help and the truck was fixed in a timely manner. Great place all the way around!!

They did an excellent job repairing my husband's vehicle, coordinated every thing with my insurance as well. They checked in with status updates often which was really nice so you're not left wondering. When we got the vehicle back it looked like nothing had ever happened. All the people who helped us were very friendly and kind. In fact, I was just hit by someone yesterday and will be taking my vehicle to Caliber for the repairs. It means a lot that Caliber does such a fantastic job and there are caring people to help you through the process. read more

Great work! we have used them twice. Once with insurance and the second time was out of pocket and both times was seamless. Amanda and Mike were both great and the repairs were flawless. read more

They are FANTASTIC!!! They worked with our insurance company beautifully, answered all our questions, and helped our son understand the whole process, since this was his first accident. We were told to go to another place (M**dgetts) by the tow company, but our insurance company told us to steer clear away from that place.. Caliber's is the BEST and preferred by all major insurance companies. read more

A deer ran into my gorgeous brand new Kia Sorento on Good Intent Road in Union Bridge, Md Since my wife had a total loss on her Toyota Highlander just 3 months ago I decided not to go thru insurance. I brought my car to Caliber Collision in Westminster Md. They blew me away Mike Austin / Manager at Caliber scheduled my car for repair right away. They have done work for me on 3 different occasions in last few years and I want to tell you they are the best. They are much better than all the body shops in Carroll County. Yes I used Mudgetts and Staleys in the past and I had terrible experiences with both They both have blind Auto Painters the color was not close to matching. Caliber Collision replaced my front bumper , the color Snow White Pearl is a difficult color match because of metallic flakes in the paint. They nailed it perfect match and one amazing good job. They texted me everyday and gave me updates as to the progress of my job. I have never had a great customer experience like this. They worked with me and gave me a good price because I was paying out of pocket. Doug Swinton read more
