FIRST TIME - Car not aligned SECOND TIME - Bumper falls off…read more I got my car repaired or (replaced) here around March 23rd. An 18 wheeler backed up into my parked car. It was taken there from my insurance. First The employee assured me that my car would look brand new and like nothing happened. He then said my whole bumper would be taken off. HE SAID IT WAS BE REPLACED. He said it would take about three weeks because that's what it normally takes. I got my car back in six days. it did not look brand new and the piece that was dented in was still visibly dented in. I took it back and the employee agreed that it did not look properly done. I left my car and I got it back the 2 days later because Aaron said he was waiting for the piece of the bumper. Two weeks later, today, I'm on the highway and my rear bumper falls off. I go to caliber collision and they tell me that, that part is not related to what was done when in fact, you have to takeoff the bumper to fix it and repair it. THEN clip it and screw to secure it. You cannot do it while it's on the car therefore you must tighten something back up once you put it back. There were screws missing and nothing was broken or chipped so it was impossible for anything to have been ripped out as the general manager was trying to say. Telling me it was repaired now not replaced. They tried to tell me that that must've happened after I picked up the Vehicle. I picked it up two weeks ago so something must have been loose two weeks ago for it to come offwhile I'm driving. I did not get rear ended I did not get into no accident. . No one has the time to f**k with me and rip it out and I wouldn't want my car in the shop again! due to work, so there's no reason that I'd lie about this or that I'd want to be doing this. They tell me they can give me the quote for the new repair. I shouldn't have to pay s**t when I just picked up my car and the part that fell off is related to where you guys repaired because there's no way you can repair it without touching that part. I looked under my car, screws were missing and, where the clips go They were still in place, nothing on the bottom was damaged. So nothing was ripped out. I'm thinking since I got my car back in six days that they were moving too fast and must have not tightened it properly, but of course they cannot take accountability and now I have to get it done myself. I messed up and told him I work in construction. I mentioned it because I would notice if anything happened to my car being that I don't park on job sites. So the general manager wanted to use this and say it was my fault and I must have went somewhere. Just called back and said they see warping on the clip holders I would not recommend. They overchanged by about 400 dollars. And to top it off the truck stalled almost immediately on the way home. When I confronted Robert, the guy In charge, he gave me all sorts of attitude and insulted me and condescended to me. He acted like it took forever to replace a MAP sensor which is a 15 minute job, maybe 30 with testing. I suggest finding a more reasonable shop or if you're gonna pay premium you should get the service that comes with that.

I could never get the inner door cover to snap back into place. I figured a body shop could do this, so I took it to Brian at H & T for an estimate. Estimate, schmestimate... Brian just walked over to my car with a screwdriver and a tool that looked like a cross between a can-opener and a screwdriver. Ten minutes later he was done. He didn't even charge me. But they closed up for a few days and stopped returning calls. I took it Jason at Color Solutions. He looked it over and gave us a very fair estimate for the paint. He scheduled us for after Thanksgiving. We brought it in, and they took over the job. Two days later we got cell pics showing the re-done paint. Picked it up the next day (That was earlier today) and we are very pleased with their work. It's a two-year-old metallic silver Ford. They did a really awesome job of matching the color as well as blending it to the factory paint. You have to look really hard at the panels to notice where they blended the paints. Normally with car inspections, I have to drop my car off at an auto-body shop and pick it up the next day due to the "first come, first serve" policy but I didn't have that option so I booked an appointment with 17th Street Automotive for the same day. As soon as I walked into the office, I was happily greeted by Kristen and another worker. They both were extremely pleasant and personable. I was quoted a service time of about an hour and a half and was offered beverages while I wait, which was a very nice gesture. My state inspection was completed after an hour and a half, just as they quoted me. Kristen was very informative with the things they found during the inspection and with how amazing their customer service was, I would definitely return to get my car serviced with them. I was given a free car freshener once the service was complete and told them I would tell everyone I knew about the exceptional experience I had with their business. Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.
