I've used them before but just had to have a leak in my windshield that was replaced a year ago. No rain in awhile and the car is garage kept so when water pooled up and gave a musty smell to my car I was not happy. They did stand behind their warranty and they repaired it but I was without a car for 4 days, no loaner, no rental and we are a one car family so a real inconvenient situation. Spent money out of my pocket because the windshield was not installed properly. Still cost me in uber rides and begging rides from friends. And the "new" employee at the reception area could use a lesson in her "communicating with people skills", very weak in that area, a hair away from being combative and confrontational. I have utilized Caliber Collision multiple times in the past and they just completed the repair on my Truck and it looks amazing. Miguel was very helpful throughout the process and I appreciate his assistance and professionalism. Not so much today though when I picked up my truck. Miguel was on break and I had a question during pickup, and gentleman named "Rob" took the question. I simply asked if everything was working fine such as the turn signals and lights, then asked if someone would take me out to do an inspection before I left the shop. Unfortunately he very rudely told me that "If it's in the paperwork, they fixed it". I think he realized he was rude because he said "I didn't mean to be a jerk,but". Taken aback from this I thanked the front desk person who was again very polite and she grabbed another staff that took me out and showed me the repair. Wesley Chapel location put me back in my car with broken motor mounts, broken transmission and other issues. They're in bed with State Farm to make the least and cheapest repairs. They respond to complains on reviews just for public relations. They never contact the customer back to fix the problem. They have inflexible, unreasonable, and customer-unfriendly policies. I drive a luxury car. On my way to the dealership, exiting the Highway, a flying construction-crew orange cone hit my car, which was on the Highway. It damaged my fender. Upon arriving at the dealership, I requested a full inspection. Nothing but the fender was damaged; my car was in perfect driving condition (aside from multiple cracks on the left side of my front fender.) My insurance company arranged for me to visit Caliber, where an estimate would be conducted and repairs would be made. Upon arriving there that morning, I was told, with very bad communication skills, that the ticket was not written for an estimate, even though I had the ticket in front of me on my screen as we talked! Also, they informed me that, since they have to order the replacement part, I must leave the car there for an indeterminate amount of time and an unknown amount of repair costs. They reversed their insistence that no estimation was required by the ticket but persisted in their claim that the car must stay there during the time required for the part to be ordered and arrive. Even when I told them that I was willing to pay in advance for the parts as a goodwill gesture, they kept on saying, "How do we know that you will come back after we pay for the part?" Considering that the car was drivable, I was willing to pay in advance, and not willing to have the insurance pay unnecessarily for days of a rental car (nor the inconvenience of driving a rental), I find this inflexible policy not customer-friendly. read more

Initially some issues with the body work repair but the Manager Arnaldo listened to my concerns and took care of ALL OF THEM. I can't say the experience wasn't without some stress; but I will say he listened and did the RIGHT thing from a customer service experience and ensured he wasn't going to stop until I was satisfied. I am not happy with this shop ! I called 20 mins before arriving asking if they would be able to drop me home and I was told on the phone they would . So I told them I was on my way ! I get there and there was no parking ! I parked under the car port and entered what appeared to be the entrance, but in actuality the side for progressive . I was met by Melanie (Mel) who told me I was the wrong side and told me to go to the State Farm side . I go over to the State Farm side and the only person that greeted me was a lady with super red hair (she the only nice person about this experience) despite the office being fully staffed. I signed some paper work and was told the Leigh. Would be out to help ! Turn out she was in a meeting! So Melanie comes over from the progressive side and proceeds to carry on conversations with her co workers, tow truck guy and they are passing around ULTRASOUND PICTURES!! I'm literally sitting there and all this happening. After they finish their conversation she then tells me let's go take a look at the vehicle damage. !!!!!! I'm lost Melanie you knew you needed to help me but instead you had me sit there untill your conversation was over !!?! And now that we are done with the walk through you NOW tell me the guy can't take me home because he is in clear water ? What a complete waste of time ?! And your delivery. My Mazda was at Caliber for over a month for a rear bumper. The communication between my service manager, Lucas, and myself was horrible. They have a text message system and I don't know if it's auto replies or if Lucas himself is sending information but I would receive a text on Monday saying my car would be ready Wednesday. I would coordinate with my wife to pick up the kids from school so she could take care of the rental and pick up the Mazda and then on Wednesday I would receive a text saying just kidding, you're car will be ready Friday. So we would rearrange our schedule for Friday and then when Friday arrives, you guessed it, we would get a text saying nope, your Mazda will be ready Monday. So we would rearrange our schedules again and then BAM! Monday I'd get a message saying Wednesday. This went on for four weeks before I finally lost my lid and got ahold of a manager. Also, in the meantime, my rental was expiring because this bumper replacement was scheduled for 5 days. It took over a month. I had to extend my rental coverage 3 times. And had to have the manager at Caliber take care of the bill I would have had to come out of pocket for. The work done on the car is amazing. The bumper matches perfectly, the paint looks great, I haven't had any issues there. But the service and communication and overall lack of giving a poop about the customer....absolutely trash. read more

Caliber was recommended to me by the Progressive claims rep and from the moment I walked in, I knew it was the right place. Alex my service advisor greeted me with a welcoming, positive, assuring attitude, and not only set everything up for me, but kept me updated via text throughout the whole process. The associate at the front desk set me up with Enterprise to pick me up and then today when I returned to pick up my vehicle, Alex explained that they were set up with Enterprise for me to return the vehicle right there which made my day even better. I took my car caliber to get repaired. When I was notified that my car was ready and I arrived, I noticed they caused damage to my vehicle. So I left it there a few more days. My next visit to pick up my vehicle my front grill was not even secured to my bumper. So I had to wait awhile until he could find someone to attach it. The left side of my grill still isn't attached properly and it was not like that before I took it in to caliber. Geico told me this was a great repair facility, but after my experience I don't feel my car was handled to the best of their ability. read more

After getting my car all jacked up by some teen on her cellphone, Caliber fixed my car up 100%. Some notes on why they're so good - Tampa has a big military presence, so a lot of people have USAA Insurance. Caliber is a partner with USAA so if that company is the one assuming responsibility for your damage, you don't see a single bill - they take care of everything. This is especially nice if you can't shell out four grand for repairs up front and wait to get reimbursed. They keep you fully abreast of what's going on with your car. I got an email every other day or so with status updates, including the hilarious "your Veloster is very happy here!," so thanks Caliber for keeping me informed of my Hyundai's mental wellbeing. My service guy, Nef, was a class act. Took care of everything, got back to me in reasonable amounts of time, answered all my questions, and really made me feel like this was a quality operation. It's a stop-point for Enterprise Rental, so you can get a ride to pick up your rental car (should you be getting one). The end of the job includes "minor detailing," but they did a better job than my usual car wash place. Vacuumed, shined, and cleaned up just about every part. Finishing touch - new car smell spray. Good work, y'all. I don't want to come back, but if I do, I know I'll be in good hands. read more

If you are making an insurance claim, don't use this company. They don't know what they are doing. Today (12/18/2019) I received, via a threatening certified letter, the first bill from Caliber Collision for work done five months ago (7/19/2019). The letter claims that the insurance company didn't pay full amount due. Okay fine, that may or may not be true. But now, I have to go through months of our household's records: insurance claim(s), banking accounts, credit card statements, etc. to verify or disprove Caliber's claim. I have a "Final Bill" (number 9845, dated 7/19/2019) that reads, "Balance due from Customer $ 0.00" The worst part is that the letter clearly lies. It reads "Pursuant to our conversation..." They never spoke with me to inform me of a potential problem. The letter is an unsigned form letter that lies. Think about the mindset of a company that mass mails obvious lies to its customers. Nice work Paul Bernstein, General Manager, that never spoke with me; you are a liar. Abra was great. Caliber, that bought Abra, is a mess. read more

My car is parked and somebody decided to smash into wrecking the front end and the backend moving my vehicle 4 feet backwards into my garage. The next morning my car was towed to caliber collision caliber collision treated me with kindness made contact with me almost daily in regard to repairs on my vehicle when I picked up my car it was clean and smell good and look brand new. I did have one small issue where my heater didn't work I was able to take it back in and get it fixed within five minutes. I picked Caliber because it had been given a 5 star review. I went to get an estimate which was promised by the end of Thursday, I called on friday and ended up personally going to pick it up myself. With the help of State Farm and Jesus from Caliber I decided to give them another try. I was told to call to schedule when I can drop off the car. I have been on hold for over 50 minutes with the same message, they hung up on me. I called them on another line and they did not even bother picking up the call but just ended both calls. If this is the type of personal customer service they give, I am having doubts about leaving my car. read more

From the moment I walked into the office I felt like my car was in a great place to be fixed. Alex was very easy to work with and always kept me up to date on my repairs. My car was hit and caliber fixed it to where you would never know it was in a wreck. Caliber even went as far as helping me deal with a dispute from my insurance company. My insurance company denied waiving fees and contacted me two month later after not paying caliber telling me I had to pay. Luckily caliber has documentation that USAA contacted them saying it was waived and only contacted me because they failed to pay Caliber. I am glad to have a company that has my back when my insurance failed to have my back and my insurance gets a lot more money from me. Lesson learned always document. The Actual Experience was Good...but After!!!! So I took my car into the shop on 301 on Nov 19 for an insurance claim. I got news my car was ruled a total loss on Nov 21 (Thanksgiving Eve) so I wasn't able to pick up my car until Nov 23. All very nice attentive staff from this point. When I got in my car I didn't notice any additional damage and they pulled it around for me. Since it was the day after T-Givs there weren't a lot of staff which is understandable. I got in my car and left. When I reached my first destination and took the key out I realized my key was damaged so I called. Spoke to a person that said he would check into it and get back to me. Okay cool...called back on Nov 27, again I was told someone would call me. I went online on Nov 29 to chat with customer service. Explained the situation to them, while they were apologetic and said someone would call me, nobody called me...I don't think its that big a deal to give me a call and let me know what happened and what you will do to correct it...I called again on Dec 3 and was on hold forever....over 15 min and got impatient. Seems like the only way to get stuff done is write a bad review...it's a shame. read more

I had a good experience here. I got rearended and I found out that this was one of the insurance company's network shops. For those that don't know, I work in auto insurance and used to be an estimator so I am pretty familiar with the process and many local shops. I knew good things of TBCC so I decided to use them. The estimator at the shop was really nice and accommodating. I was in and out quickly and my vehicle was done quickly. The repairs look great and it was a pretty low stress situation. After an unfortunate accident to my vehicle while parked in the Walmart parking lot, I had my car towed to Caliber Collision. I worked with Jim, through my State Farm agent Terry Fink. After a few glitches with the towing company getting the car to the right shop, everything with Caliber went GREAT, absolutely excellent communication updates on the status of my car and the repairs being done. Jim advised it would be completed on June 1, 2016...it was done May 31, 2016. I can't say enough about the quality of the repairs and their job of matching the paint color, which is a red, and therefore so difficult to get right. This shop nailed it better than any of the attempts made by Courtesy Kia of Brandon! Lindsay gets a special nod, as she was always very helpful and friendly, customer service is a huge part of an already stressful situations. I brought my car here because Caliber has always been prompt and got the job done the first time. I always recommend this place and if my issue gets resolved I still will. I came in due to a front end collision that affected my ac as well. I informed them I have an aftermarket grille on the form you fill out on during the visit and my words fell on deaf ears. On a positive note they did try and make the oem grille look like my aftermarket grille until it showed up which I was ok with. Then the first slap in the face comes when the grille arrived, they attempted to have me get it put on myself! I didn't give, so my writer offered to have it put on and gets it done. My main issue is my air conditioning, I told them when I dropped the car off that my ac went out as a result of the crash. When I get my car back, it wasn't fixed. Then when I asked if they could fix it I get the run-around and I just keep getting stalled until I'm eventually told to take it elsewhere to have it diagnosed so they can figure it out easier.....now.....I understand that this is a common practice for bodyshops to do but only BY THE BODYSHOP!!! You don't hand the car to the customer and tell him to figure out your own stuff so we can figure it out!! What kind of business practice is that!! It's been weeks I still have no ac. I have a daughter with special needs that can only ride in my car on cold days because heat makes her panic, this is affecting my very livelihood because my car is also a source of income! I hope there's a GM or someone I can talk to because throughout all this I still trust Calibers competence and believe they can rectify this issue. P.S though it isn't a big deal, the guy that worked on my car decided to sync his phone to my car to listen to music while he worked. I work at a dealership and this is forbidden!! You wanna listen to music buy some buds or a radio like everyone else and listen to all the music u want! Don't waste my battery or gas instead! Now the speakers on the right side of my car barely work and there's nothing I can do about it!!!! read more
