Honest, and professional service no price gouging they did more for me for less money than the dealership did.

Got my car serviced at Toy House again last week and, as per usual, prompt service and lightening fast turnaround! And great price,by the way. You can rely on Toy House to always do a great job in keeping our car in excellent shape. Yay Toy House! read more

Everything was done in a timely fashion and with great explanation of process, and also suggestions for what might be needed in the future.

Outstanding! I had a power steering leak on my ES350 while travelling, made the mistake of getting a quote from Lexus of Tampa Bay first...$9627.77!!!! Toy House worked me into their schedule, repaired the next day...$480. They are lifesavers, HIGHLY recommended. read more

I may give them another chance but the person that made my initial consultation and follow up wasn't very nice at all. Perhaps he was overwhelmed due to the holidays but I hope if I decide to go back, things will be calmer. I was told that my diagnosis needed immediate attention and was told that my car could be serviced. However when I called the next day to set the appointment, the same person was very rude and short with me, telling me that it would be February before I could get my car serviced there. Talk about confusing... nonetheless I chalked it up and took my Toyota elsewhere since it needed immediate attention. I relied on the reviews here on Yelp with high expectations ... but eh... read more

These guys are awesome! If you have a Toyota or Lexus and need work done , this is the place to go. I've used 2 dealerships and 2 mechanics..these guys are by far the best. Why? - repairs are done correctly the first time; -reasonable pricing; -they get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Not going anywhere else with my 4Runner read more

Took our GS350 to the Toy House after becoming frustrated with the local Lexus dealer's lack of follow through on a diagnosis. As it turns out, their diagnosis requiring a $2100.00 repair would, in fact, not have fixed the problem. The issue, as diagnosed by the expert team at the Toy House was a loose wire in the wiring harness. Suddenly the parts that allegedly needed replacing per the dealership are working fine. There is no doubt who will be doing all the service on our Lexus in the future. Thanks Toy House!!! read more

These guys are awesome The shop that used to get my business replaced a part and charged me and said oh that wasn't it From now on Toy House is my go to place. They fixed my car back to good as new in one day for a very very fair price. The shop is clean and organized The waiting area is very comfortable with a TV. If your not into sitting and waiting.... They have a small golf putting area with clubs to loan for free! read more

Toy House - Auto Repair Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I've been servicing my cars at the toy house for close to two decades. I would consider them family as they treat all their customers as such. Always going out of there way to help everyone in their time of need. I am truly grateful that they are here for me when I need them!! read more

Sustained superior performance.... Trustworthy.... Great value.... Taking your Toyota virtually anywhere else incurs a much much higher rate of risk of improper diagnosis and poor, albeit expensive repairs.... read more

If you own a Toyota, Lexus or Scion, this is where you need to be bringing your car. This is a family owned and operated business, and they could not be nicer, more efficient, and far more trustworthy than any of the dealerships I've experienced. I made an appointment for a Friday, got there early, and they took my car right back to get started. I had my wheels rotated, oil and lube, changed all filters, new brakes, and brake fluid flushed. They took the initiative to blow the five-year old leaves out from under my hood, and clean my engine. They also buffed out my headlights, which had years of haze built up on them. They only work on those three types of cars, so the rest of you are out of luck. Shop is only open Monday through Friday. Polite and professional, without the dealer markup and dealer scams - what are you waiting for? read more

Amazing service - would buy another Toyota just so that we can keep going to these guys. Probably the best mechanics I've ever dealt with.

While Traveling from Las Vegas, Nevada to Tampa Florida my dad's 2005 Toyota Prius had some red lights pop up. I normally like to get A few different opinions and the first place told us we needed without a doubt a new inverter at a cost of $1200. After calling a few more places I decided to send my dad to the toy house and I couldn't be happier with our decision. Charles took care of my dad unbelievably well he even stayed open later to make sure he got back on the road. The car ended up only needing a new coolant pump for the inverter and at the end of the day the bill was only $400 including an oil change. Thank you Charles. read more

This place is incredible. I as been to 5 different dealerships and mechanics and they all had bad attitudes and wanted to charge me $3400 for a pump that you don't even need. I just walked in here after being referred and Charlie welcomed me, was positive and eager to hear my issues and see how he could help. Before I even got done explaining he already knew the problem. He gave me the exact issue and two different ways to fix it: the expensive Toyota recommended repair or the Toy House honest special. I'm super lucky to have discovered this place, especially since I'm set on owning a Toyota for the foreseeable future. Saved me $3k and already back on the road. Just so you all know, your secondary air injection pump will go bad and these guys are here to fix it. Thanks! read more

They're awesome! Sooo knowledgable! I am blessed to have been steered towards these two brothers by my regular mechanic, who knew I needed extensive work done to my car they were unable to provide. Especially can say, for women alone or seniors looking for HONEST Gentlemen.. You've hit the bonanza! read more

Great mechanics. Honest people they won't try and tell you need stuff for your car when it can wait and you can save up for it. I come here for everything they are the only guys that work on both of our Toyotas. read more

My car was stalling on and off. I took it to toy house. Upon inspection they find out that a air intake hose had become loose and no longer was attached to the engine and was creating the problem. They put the hose back on and my problem was solved. They didn't charge me for that. I appreciated their honesty and their friendly and professionalism. I took the vehicle to another shop a day earlier in Brandon and they wanted to charge me $125 just to tell me what is wrong with my car. I have been back to Toyo house for oil change and I am very happy with them for their great work and their friendly attitude. I will definitely recommend toyo house to anyone. They are honest and very friendly. I am so lucky to find an honest mechanic shop that I can trust. read more

Lexus, Toyota or Scion owners...the saying goes "the best compliment you can give is a referral." I am absolutely referring Toy House for any service or repairs on your car! This is a family run business and they are always extremely honest, friendly and competitive in pricing. They tell you like it is and I am confident in their skills and service. I go there for everything, even a basic oil change. It is almost 10 miles each way, and for S. Tampa people that is really far! But that is how much I value their service. I love my GS 300 and after 10 years and 156,000 miles I'm thankful to have only needed the typical maintenance and service you would expect with the age and mileage (oil change, tire rotation, brakes, starter...) I keep saying I will get a new car when this one dies, but they keep her going strong! Thank you guys! read more

I'm moving to Tarpon Springs, but would still drive 90 minutes to have my Toyota serviced at the Toy House. They are that good.

When my Lexus certified tech moved away I needed to find a new mechanic as I don't like paying the dealer rates unless it's necessary. So I read all the reviews and decided to try Toy House and I am quite happy with them. I take pride in my cars and I appreciate their attention to detail. I've used them twice now and both times they charged me less than I expected. I assumed they would find something wrong with my car but they gave it a clean bill of health and it gives me confidence to know I'm driving a vehicle that is safe. I will continue to use them for service as they are closer to my house than the dealership also. read more

I have had several Toyota product vehicles including Lexus. Toy House has taken care of and maintain each and everyone of those vehicles for myself and for my family. We believe and have experienced high integrity from the employees and the owners of the Toy House we trust their experience we trust their knowledge and we trust the prices. We highly recommend the Toy House for any repairs on your Toyota or Lexus cars. read more

I normally go to the dealership for service on my Rav4, but now that it's out of warranty I was open to alternatives. My sister suggested I try this place out and I was not disappointed. The brothers that run the place are warm and welcoming. Matt, handles the front (from what I could tell) and did a great job of communicating expectations. I expected it to take all day since I walked in without an appointment, but the team had it done before we finished lunch. I was very pleased with the service, facility, location, and overall experience. Next time my car needs some TLC I will bring it back here. read more

I took my RX350 in today just to make sure it was roadworthy for an upcoming trip. I left there with such a great feeling that everything was taken care of and I thought the price I paid was actually low for all the work they did. Tires, wipers, battery, oil change etc. I felt like I was driving a brand new car. Great communication also. read more

If you're taking your Lexus or Toyota to Toyota of Tampa Bay, you're probably paying too much and you may even be paying for parts and labor you don't even need! It's happenend to me numerous times! Last week the most recent. Toyota wanted $954 for parts and labor for repairs I didn't even need. I brought my car in to Matthew and Charlie... $124! It only needed some maintenance, not expensive repairs. Great guys, honest guys... they won't charge you for repairs that aren't necessary and they won't over-charge you. Excellent repair work and very ethical, unlike Toyota's deceptive business practices. Don't think twice about bringing your Lexus or Toyota to them. You'll be in great hands! read more

I have been using this business for 2 years for my 2008 Sienna LTD. Charles and Matt have never steered me wrong or tried to oversell. And there employees are just as good fixing issues the first time. Now I have my sister-in-law taking her 2000 Lexus EX 300 there. No doubt in my mind I made the right choice using them as my repair shop compared to TOYOTA dealers. read more

I own a 2013 Rav 4. I am in a situation where I have to travel from Tampa to Ky several times a year. I have grown to depend on these wonderful guys to make sure my car is safe to drive. They are honest and knowledgeable about any problem I bring to them. They call me by my name when I enter the door and remember previous concerns that I have had with my car. I never worry about being ripped off. The only way I know how to thank them is to sing their praises in this post. read more

I give this place 5 stars for a few reasons. One, they give you genuine service and don't waste any time. Two, their prices are half as much as other quotes I had received that week for the same service and parts. I will definitely be coming back to them. read more

This is my second time coming here and they have always provided prompt and professional service. Both times were for tires that needed patching and I was in and out within 30 minutes. I'd definitely come back again if I needed any service. read more

These guys are the best. They have done work on both of our prius Toyotas. Took my car in the morning around 9:30 and they had it fixed and I was back on the road in just a few hours. And I had an unusual problem, someone used a battery that was not made for my car and the harness terminal would not fit on the battery that is meant to be in my car. Not a problem for the guys. They got me the terminals I needed and replaced my bad battery with the right one for my car and did some other work I requested to be done. These guys do not over charge. Only car shop we will use now. Very happy. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I was referred by a friend when I bought my Camry back in 2013 after a $650 quote from the dealership in repairs....I went to Toy House and have never been happier...I didn't need half the stuff I was told and the guys really go the EXTRA mile. As long as I have my car they will always get my business. read more

My family has been getting our Toyota/Lexus serviced here for year. Not only do they do a efficient job with oil changes but they do an excellent job at repairs as well. This is a small family owned business that you can count on to not rip you off like other repair shops. I recommend this place to all my friends. read more

I have been going here for service for our 2002 Lexus es300 since 2012. This is a highly honest and trustworthy family run business, and they do excellent work. Matt and Charlie and the rest of the staff are great easygoing people. There is no slick salesman song and dance here. I moved to Spring Hill this past year and still make the trip to have my car worked on here. Its worth the extra drive for me to know that they have my best interest in mind for my car and they would never recommend unnecessary service for my car, just to make a buck. We may be replacing the Lexus this year , but I am looking at buying another Toyota product in order to be able to still have my car serviced here. Not sure why there is the one negative reveiw. Maybe the gentleman did not like hearing what was necessary to correct his problem the right way and wished it was a simple fix. read more

Every positive story, experience and related outcomes are so true it's hard to add to them. I have never seen such a high level of service in all areas or departments. The auto repair service would never have had the negative sigma related to it if all or most had the work ethics of the Toy House. Thank you again for everything from quality service, price, and workmanship. Carol read more

It is so difficult to find a reliable and honest automotive shop, but this is it. I highly recommend using the Toy House. Charlie and his family have always been incredibly kind and honest, and continue to answer my questions though I have moved out of state. I have nothing but good things to say about this office and their staff. Regardless of how long it has been since I've been in, they know me (my name) and my car. I wish I could bring them with me to VA! read more

Matt, Charlie and the gang took great care of me. Honest good pricing. Show you a breakdown of everything that is happening and are more than willing to answer any questions you have. Beware of this shop. A 10 minutes job will costs you a 2 hours charge. I was quoted $200.00 for assembling the coil spring and front shocks together. This will require assembling the coil spring and front struts together. I was told it will take 2 hours meaning, 1 hour per strut just to assemble? I asked them do you do it manually? the guy said they have the machine to compress the spring, but I was still baffled me that it will take them 2 hours? I do understand the economics of business but this is over price. Guess what? I found a shop that compressed the spring and assembled it in 10 minutes. for $60 for both. Yes folks. it took 5 minutes each to assemble and compressed the spring. I was watching him do it. So telling me it will take 2 hours is wrong and misleading to the customer. Well I guess If you have expendable money and rich, go ahead and use this shop. read more

Hello my name is Sandy Symes and I just want to do a shout-out for the toy house they fixed my car after me going to 5 different places to get it done even the dealership and after that I have taken my mother Solara in and they helped me out on her car these people are very professional friendly courteous boil and their prices are not out of this world they will work with you as best as they can. I drive an old 99 Avalon and they work on my car my husband drives a 98 Corolla they work on his car my mom Solara is a 2001 and they work on it. Matt is the owner and he has quite a few mechanics and workers and they are all super super nice and understanding. And for all you women who are afraid that a mechanic will screw you or try to get something over on you that will not happen here. Matt himself is a family man and he would never want that to happen to his wife or his mother. and if you have to drive a little further to get to them believe me in the long run it will all be worth it. It takes a lot for me to write up a review I deal with the public but this one I had to send out. If you drive a Toyota the toy house is for you!!!!!!! VERY HAPPY read more
