They have had our car for 8 weeks due to the fact that the shop "misplaced " the parts that GEICO…read moreneeded to prove that they were actually broken. GEICO refused to pay until the parts were located and Cockrells refused to eat the extra cost caused by their negligence. Now the car is being held for ransom because they can't get their act together enough to communicate with their customers. The office manager Janna (sp) is a horrible business woman who talks down to her customers and tries to blame everything on the insurance company. She does not communicate any changes to completion dates or changes to what the actual issues are. So we will be paying over and above our deductible to get our vehicle back. They did say that they would take the extra parts off and we could come get our vehicle today. Not in working order. GEICO has already paid the nearly $10,000 when the car only cost $22,000 brand new. The real kicker is that visibly it only looked like a cracked grill and punctured radiator. Beware that any insurance claim work done by then will be exaggerated, extensive and take for ever. Update: just received a call from Cockrells and they said that the additional cost was due to the dealership replacing an A/C hose. The same hose that Cockrells had just replaced a few days earlier. Why would the dealership have done that when they were only recharging the A/C unless it was already in bad condition?

I had Chapman's paint and replace the driver's side mirror on my RV. I brought the replacement…read moresideview mirror in the new manufacturer's box. The job was so-so and not a good paint job. I told them I wanted to keep the old broken one and asked them to put it back in the box the new one came from for storage. They chunked the old mirror not in the box the new one came out of, but, with NO BOX they chunked the old mirror into the passenger floorboard and damaged the center console by gouging & scratching it all up. The whole side view mirror wasn't seated correctly on the door when they tightened it causing it to be wildly vibrating and making squeaking noises. I had to go to Theodore RV Repair to have the mirror attached correctly. The owner Mike is a foul-mouthed, cocky individual that deserves nobody's business. If you want to be ripped off, cussed at, and done wrong... Go to Chapmansl

My initial opinion of Chapman's, was awesome! But, recently, I found a spot on my quarter panel,…read morethat was bubbled up, like rust between the paint and metal. When I questioned him about it, he said there was body work before, that wasn't done correctly. My car is a 2010 Camaro Transformer, with the LS3 motor, only 1753 of them built for the US. This car hasn't been out of my possession (or sight), since it was purchased. I know it like a fine tooth comb. In 2019, while backing it from the garage, I grazed the door, doing a little damage to the right front fender. For me, this was huge. To anyone else, would call it a scratch. I went to Chapman's. I told them, I wanted the fender replaced. I was specific, no body work. It was to take 2 weeks. Well, after approximately 5 weeks, I finally got the call to pick it up. It cost me $1800. It's in my opinion, that after all the info provided by the estimator, who I believe to be Mr. Chapman himself, the damage to my rear quarter panel was done by the man that did the work (who I might add, wasn't there when I went to get this estimate). The reason I believe this to be true? That would explain the extra time taken from the original 2 weeks I was given. Also, BumbleBee has not been to or had service anywhere near a body shop, but Chapman's. For this to have been done, without my knowledge, tells me, they would be the only one that could pull that off. I was present when it was dyno'ed, and the one time I had the tires replaced, with brakes (which was 1 day, not enough time to do the body work). I know believe, someone either came to their place of business, and cut into the fender while parking, or when he was moving the car around the yard. He knew how I felt about body filler, and was probably worried that he'd be liable. This is all speculation, but I have given this a few weeks of thought, and come up with any other way it could have possibly been done, without my knowledge. This is why I gave them 1 star, and will not be taking it back to pay for repairs, I believe they caused. In doing this crappy job, it allowed him, to let me take it off the lot, which at that point, removed them from any liability.
