We…read morestayed in Lincoln City Oregon Friday night and late that evening my 2014 Dodge Durango started misfiring. Saturday am it continued so by 10am I had to do something. The FIXD app and device on my car told me I had a misfire on cylinder 6. I made a few calls and was referred to Car Care Specialists. Service Manager Mark Smith answered the phone and I explained what was happening. He already knew the code I had on my app and had ordered the part before I got to his shop. There was only one left in town. He said it could be something else but this was the most common problem. He usually has 6 techs working but only 2 were working Saturday since it was a holiday weekend. He said they were slammed with people just like me who were needing to continue on their vacations. He called the only car rental agency that was open and he asked them to hold their last car for me. They closed at noon so we made it by about one hour. We kept touring because we had a car rental and I checked back with Mark several times. His demeanor was amazing. He never acted upset with my frequent calls. He said he hoped to have my car fixed so I could go onto Seattle Sunday instead of Monday or Tuesday. I talked to his technician too. He was also amazing. My car may have been under warranty so he gave me the parts and a detailed description of what they did so I can submit it to Dodge. There were no dealers close and most may not work on Saturday. Mark said he has 25 years experience so he has seen most everything. He does what he can to keep things moving. I had my own insurance agency for almost 40 years. I know what great service is and how hard you have to work to achieve it. I STRONGLY recommend Car Care Specialist. Here is an update. I made it through the rest of my vacation and home with NO problems. I have driven over 1200 miles. When I got home, I contacted Dodge and explained my car problem. Mark from Car Care Specialists said he would give documentation to me so I could present a claim since I was under 60000 miles. I submitted the documents and Dodge said it looks good. I just have to wait to hear from them to see if they will cover it. Their initial review agreed with Marks assessment that they should reimburse me. Perfect diagnosis and documentation by Car Care Specialist. You can't get much better than that!!! One more update. 6/15/18 Dodge warranty department called me today. With the documentation Car Care Specialist gave me I will receive some reimbursement, about $200. I asked if I would have received more if my car was at one of their dealerships and was told NO. That means Car Care Specialist did everything perfectly. Thank You!!!

I had been over to the Honda dealership which is really a rip off, the price they wanted was outrageous and I've had to wait several months anyway because of the pandemic and parts being hard to find. I just taped up my window and thought I would figure it out later. I was fortunate to come across Jeremy here at Caliber Auto Body in Lincoln City and he told me I'm pretty sure I can do this for a lot less. He was right it was quite a bit less and he is so easy to deal with. The entire shop is all about integrity and honesty. I really feel comfortable working with Jeremy, I wish he had a car repair shop because I would only go there. If only I had somewhere good to go to get my car repaired like Jeremy's shop that would be wonderful. Everyone who works there is so kind and understanding they make you feel right at home. You feel like you are dealing with friends and not people you have to be leery of. As a woman we all know how difficult it is to bring a car in for repair and hope that you are getting what you are paying for. I have only great things to say about this business and if God for bid I ever do end up in a wreck and let's hope I don't this is where I would go and I would feel safe and well taken care of. We received great service from Lincoln City towing, after skidding on black ice and landing flipped…read moreover in a ditch (car completely totaled) just off Hwy 101, my mother called Lincoln City Towing and was helped as soon as safely possible. Due to driving conditions it was not safe for the towing truck to come out, but they came as soon as possible, which is just the nature of having to get towed, it's a safety issue. Keith helped my mom out, and she says he was sure of himself, confident, and put her at ease regarding the nature of her tow, given that it was a wreck and they had to flip it, not just a regular tow. Willy met us at the LCT salvage yard and was very helpful in determining what we could save from the car and what we couldn't, because of insurance adjuster stuff. The yard itself was very safe, with an electronic fence and a surveillance camera. He even helped us get the plates off the car, as they're still valid for another year. Overall, were very pleased with how taken care of we were and happy to have the car off the road and into good hands.

Today…read morethey had hired a woman who was very odd speaking, erratically in the car and saying many negative things about auto club and every single person she had picked up for towing emergencies. In the process, she damaged my car she damaged my door and left two nicks in the metal part of the door in the process by putting my car up on a flatbed and not securing it properly and hitting into a post with the door. Thankfully, auto Club( AAA) is probably going to cover everything but damaging someone's car isn't a joke, especially when they're calling for a tow truck and all they had was a flat tire I didn't need a broken door that did not close right. When you have a nice car, you don't expect it to get damaged by someone who should not even be working in this position. The company did not offer any compensation and pretended to act as if they had nothing to do with it. To be honest, I could file a lawsuit in Lincoln City and they would have to pay if auto Club was not handling it there would be no problem with that I'm a business owner too and I will have no problem taking anyone to court. She purposely did not have me sign but AAA has all details on file and it's documented. I would NEVER trust this company again nor would I use them and I am making sure that auto Club knows exactly what they have put me through. Please protect yourself. Do not use this company!!!
