I visited the store on Hwy 121 in Lewisville. Great service and took time to answer my questions without being rushed. Did a great job.

I don't think I was treated fairly. Poor workmanship as well. Needed a second shop to finish the job.

Top-Notch Service & Honest Work!…read more Brought my Tesla Performance here for a blackout badge install, and I couldn't be happier. When they removed the old logo, there was some tough factory glue left behind. Instead of risking damage by trying to chisel it off, they took the cautious approach and installed the new badge around it--showing real attention to detail. What really impressed me was their honesty--they didn't charge me for the work as a courtesy. That kind of integrity is rare! I'll definitely be bringing my other Teslas here and recommending them to anyone looking for quality work. 10/10--these guys are perfectionists!

This is going to be long, but if you're considering taking your vehicle here, you should read it…read more I'm being detailed because I genuinely hope it prevents someone else from going through what I did. Thankfully, I also work for many law firms that deal with car wrecks so they know where NOT to send their clients. I've taken my car to this shop for three separate accidents over the years. The first two were mostly body damage repairs and I had no major issues. The third accident, a front-end collision in September 2025, turned into an absolute nightmare. Between September 2025 and May 2026, I had to bring my car back FIVE separate times for the exact same unresolved issues. Eventually, I gave up and took my car elsewhere because Magic Touch still had not properly repaired it and almost caused my insurance company to total the vehicle until I canceled the claim to avoid that. The biggest issue involved my AC system. I repeatedly told them something was still wrong, but instead of actually finding the leak, they kept refilling the refrigerant and sending me on my way. Because of that negligence, my compressor eventually failed and the casing cracked -- despite the compressor only being a little over a year old. Out of those five return visits, they reimbursed my rental car twice after I complained about continuously paying out of pocket because I don't have another vehicle. One visit, they even handed me Visa gift cards after again failing to fix the issue. It honestly felt less like customer service and more like, "We're tired of dealing with you." I also have recordings from my last drop-off. In one, the owner, Brody, points at my car and asks, "What's up with that?" When another employee says, "The AC is having problems again," Brody responds, "Nah, f**k that," while complaining about my car being back again. Maybe if the issue had been fixed the first time, it wouldn't have kept coming back. Every time I returned, I was treated more like an inconvenience than a customer simply asking them to fix the same unresolved problem. Eventually, they had to involve the shop across the street because they couldn't figure it out themselves. One employee texted me the quote from that shop, then later sent me (after I asked the next day) another estimate that was literally DOUBLE what they had originally been told, because "if they denied it then they still had room to cover repairs" is what the text message from the shop said -- and that inflated estimate had already been sent to the insurance company. When the insurance company later contacted me to say they were considering totaling my car, I sent them all the text messages, recordings, and estimates I had received. The adjuster literally told me they were confused because insurance had ended up covering damage that the shop itself may have contributed to through negligence by failing to locate the leak when I originally reported it. The adjuster even used the words "insurance fraud" -- not me. At that point, I took my car elsewhere to a shop that has done major repairs for me before. I'm now paying around $3,400 out of pocket just to finally have my vehicle repaired correctly. To make things even worse, the new shop discovered that Magic Touch had replaced my radiator after the wreck and apparently NEVER added coolant. I brought my car there six total times, including immediately after the accident, and somehow nobody noticed the coolant reservoir was empty? That repair is now being added to my bill along with an expansion valve replacement. You can call me a liar if you want, but I have endless text messages, recordings, invoices, and documentation to back up every single thing I'm saying. The unfortunate reality is that they seem friendly until they no longer want to deal with your vehicle. Once that happens, you absolutely feel it. The ONLY reason this review is getting two stars instead of one is because the body work itself looked decent.

As a woman, I'm used to people trying to get over on me, but he was transparent and respectful the entire time. He explained everything clearly and even talked to my dad on FaceTime when I needed extra help. I'll definitely be back for future repairs just based on the customer service!

Avoid This Place - Dishonest and Deceptive Practices…read more My wife trusted Discount Kar Kare in Lewisville, TX to repair her 2021 VW Atlas--and unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced. We've brought the vehicle to them on multiple occasions, and each time they claimed to have run diagnostics that uncovered more issues. Altogether, they quoted over $16,000 in repairs. We filed claims with our auto warranty company, who made it clear they just needed proper documentation: diagnostic reports, labor hours, parts lists, etc.--or a direct call from the mechanic. The owner, Joe, said he had worked with this warranty company before and would handle the communication himself. That was back in November (11/22/25). Fast forward to January 6, 2026--the warranty company had zero record of any contact from Joe or his shop. When I followed up and asked Joe for the specific documentation the warranty provider requested, he only sent me invoices we already had and dodged any request for the actual supporting documents. At this point, it's clear he either never contacted them, or never intended to. Joe's repeated false promises and refusal to provide basic documentation lead me to believe this business is operating in a dishonest and misleading way. We feel taken advantage of, and we'll be filing a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office next. If you value transparency, professionalism, or basic honesty--do NOT take your vehicle here.

I had an amazing experience with Hale's Collision Center. Justin was extremely helpful, effective at communicating, and the service was so fast. Justin even went above and beyond to clean my car inside and out as well as buffing out a small dent on my back bumper that had nothing to do with the repair I originally came in for. They do the best they can to find the best prices for you and I really appreciated that. I would absolutely come back here and recommend this auto shop for anyone in need.

WARNING****WARNING****WARNING I took my car in to get it…read morefixed and got a quote from John. I told him I need this car fixed correctly as this is my personal vehicle that I drive my daughter in, and it must be safe. He assured me that the job will be done correctly and i had nothing to worry about. When I picked up the car it looked good on the outside. I drove off and near my house it started making crazy noises from the rear end. After slowly getting it home I looked underneath and found out that two of the four bolts holding down rear cross member were missing. I couldn't figure out how that could have happened as the work was performed on the front of the vehicle and not the back. Few days ago after talking to a buddy of mine who runs a body shop in Cleveland he mentioned that the shop would have had to pull off the crossmember bolts to install anchors in order to pull the slight bend on the front of the frame. I came to realization that the shop never put back the original bolts after adjusting the frame. This mistake nearly caused $10k-25k in damage to my vehicle. At that point I decided to check the work behind the panels and discovered that they literally Mikey Moused it, they didn't straighten the frame out completely. Instead of bolting together the bumper support(rebar) to the frame, they cut the rebar in pieces and tack welded it crooked to make the front end align from the outside. In other words if I had any front end collisions of any significance it would have killed me and my daughter in an instance. I also realized that they damaged my AC lines and even though my AC worked when I dropped off the vehicle it never worked after. After confronting the owner John, he told me that is what I paid for and if I wanted it done better it would cost me more money. If you have had work done on your vehicle at this shop I'd highly encourage you to have a second opinion done on the work performed. Contact City of Lewisville business division and file compliant. Contact the state attorney and filed complaint with them. Contact your insurance company and file a complaint with them. This is negligence at its finest which will have someone killed. This place needs to go out of business immediately.
