Brought my car into Caliber after a "minor disagreement" with a shopping cart (the cart definitely won). These guys looked at the damage, gave me a timeline, and--unlike certain early-2000s movies--actually delivered on time. No quarter-mile delays here. When I picked it up, the paint matched so perfectly I half expected someone to challenge me to a pink slip race on the way home. The car was so clean I felt like I should be parking it under neon lights in downtown L.A. while eating a tuna sandwich with no crust. They didn't ask if I owed them a 10-second car, but if I did, this would be the place I'd trust to build it. Bottom line: great service, great people, and zero CGI needed. read more

Overall, Caliber did an excellent job on the body and paint work for my 2020 BMW. The paint matched perfectly, the body work was high quality, and the car looked great when I got it back. Communication throughout the repair process was also very good, and they kept me updated on the progress. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect review is because when I picked up my car, it had a new taillight malfunction that wasn't there before Caliber had possession of the vehicle. I brought it to their attention immediately, and they looked into it, but ultimately told me there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately, that means I'm now left paying out of pocket for what is likely to be a very expensive repair through BMW. Aside from that issue, I was very happy with the quality of the body and paint work. I just wish the taillight problem had been handled differently. read more

I'll never understand the petty negative reviews... people love to complain I guess. I had a great experience from start to finish. Went through my insurance (Geico) for one part, and paid out of pocket for some extra stuff I wanted fixed. It was a fair price, and Greg kept me updated every couple days throughout the whole process. Left voicemails with the perfect amount of detail and took the initiative to look into potential extra repair work I might want done with the pros and cons honestly explained. Got my car back today and it looks brand new. They nailed the color-matching on a tough color and detailed my car for me when everything was finished. Thanks y'all! Came in for estimate with no appointment, woman behind the counter was a bit gruff because I did this. Tualatin and Beaverton auto body didn't require appointments, assuming this was the industry standard I showed up unannounced. She was willing to check with her manager, "to see if he had time to give me a verbal 'unofficial' estimate". Manager did look at my truck and gave me a ballpark between $2000 and $3000. Then he says, "if your serious about getting the work done I will get you a written estimate". I'm 66 years old and going to a body shop is not my first choice to pass the time on a rainy Friday morning. Business must be good here, because they weren't interested in mine. read more

I was in an accident and given a list of places, where I could get my car repaired with insurance covering it easily. After getting my car back from them, mind you I didn't cause the accident, it has more problems then it had before the accident. A/c doesn't work now(it worked before), car violently shakes now, the parts they put on the vehicle aren't properly aligned looking bad, the oil still leaks, and then some more electrical issues. If you need a good repair I wouldn't come here. I tried to bring it back for them to fix any of the issues and they were so rude. Wish I had gone to a good mechanic and not this chain. read more

I ran over a tire tread on the freeway and it tore the whole front end of my car up. Geico referred me to Caliber and it was such an easy process. The staff were all super friendly and responsive and I got my car back less than a week later. They even cleaned and vacuumed my car for us. if i could give them zero stars, then i would. i chose them because geico recommended them, and i trusted geico, they've been a good insurer to me for well over a decade. and they still are. these guys do not know how to fix a car. not even close. i had minor front-end damage and needed a new bumper and a hood and paint matching. the car looked good at first, but when i got it home and drove it for a while i noticed that the hood was waaaaay out of whack, not centered, uneven spacing all around it and nothing about the fit was flush. as soon as i noticed it i couldn't stop seeing it. i called up and they said bring it in and we can fix it while you wait. that doesn't sound right now does it? but i destroy a lunch hour brining it back and they spent 45 minutes on it while i walked around the area. when they brought it around to me i could tell that it was still crooked and off center. the gap between the hood and the bumper was huge. when i called him [sean] on it he said, oh yeah, well, that will take a few hours and you'll have to come back again. lol. i also had them aim the headlights at the left one was lower than the right, that's how i got it back from them the first time. sean shrugged it off and had them adjusted. no apologies, not one from any of them, zero. so of course i'm not bringing it back to them, they couldn't do right the first time and tried to bluff me into thin sean new that the hood and the bumper were not right and he was handing me the keys and he was totally letting me drive away with what he totally knew was an unfinished job. how awful. gross even. i went home and called geico and they were all over it, apparently i'm not the first to complain about their shoddy work and geico let me take it to a place that my mechanic recommended. as SOON as the new place popped the hood they spotted missing brackets and bolts up front. the hole in the fender did not align with the hole on the chassis, so they just left it out because to put the bolt in would make the bumper move nearly a quarter of an inch. they didn't bother to feather in the paint to match the fenders but charged geico for it anyway. they claim they used factory parts but i'm pretty sure that when a real body shop pulls it apart they will discover that they lied about that as well. no apologies, no refund, no nothing. but geico is letting me take it to my shop and is making caliber pay for it. i hope they charge them thousands. i should have been suspicious when i noticed that the roof to caliber is spotted with patches, they can't even repair their own roof. this place sucks all day long. and to top it off, their tagline is something like returning the rhythm of your life. what a stupid tag line for an auto body shop. they should focus on cars and not people. they have destroyed the rhythm of my life and will force me to waste more time with more repairs. at least this time i know it's being done by professionals who know what they are doing and take pride in their work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY. THEY SUCK. hopefully geico will stop recommending them to their valued customers. i'm just grateful that geico had my back and is making this shop literally pay for what they've done to me and my car. the other reviews on this page with 5 stars are most certainly faked. i took my car to active auto in NW portland, where the rent is high and you have to be good to survive. learn from my mistake, do not take your car to these hacks. if their techs were good, then they'd be working someplace else. they just would. you're welcome, portland. stay far far away from caliber. paul read more

I would rate Caliber Collision 10 stars if possible. I had an appointment today to get a bumper repair estimate. Don met me on time and was wearing a mask. He looked at the damage, left for a moment and came back with a rag and 2 spray bottles. He was able to make the huge scratches disappear along with several scrapes. I mentioned I couldn't get the odometer mileage to show (only the trip mileage) and the car was speaking German. He fixed both and I was on my way - no charge. I have used this location when it was Kadel's then Abra. Excellent service every time. read more

More like Low Caliber. Followed up with them with a problem of a repair they did. The office was responsive but in talking with the mechanic, he was rude and incredibly condescending. I was being patient, inquiring, and open and he was acting as if he had a chip on his shoulder and angry because I dared to remotely question his work. Worst yet, their service advisor who was with me at the time and saw the whole thing did not do a thing even when I complained to her. read more

I brought my car in to Caliber Collision in Lake Oswego after my car was backed into in a parking lot. They were so through and professional. They did all the negotiations with the insurance company and gave me constant updates on the progression of the repair. That alone would prompt me to write this 5 star review. When I returned my rental car, there was a scratch on the passenger side of the car. I did not even notice it until I turned it in. Bob from Caliber came and looked at it. It was minor but enough that they were going to file a claim with my insurance company. Bob spent at least an hour buffing out the scratch on the rental car. It looked perfect and the car company did not charge me. That was just above and beyond service and I will be a customer for life, Thank you thank you thank you! read more
