I had an unfortunate accident that that really messed up my front bumper. Mike Hernandez at this location was amazing and explained the entire process. He was patient with my questions and called me daily with updates. My car was completed ahead of schedule which saved me over $200 on the rental. Mike pushed to get the car done quicker because he knew I was having to pay out of pocket for my rental. I appreciated his kindness, professionalism and fantastic thoughtful customer service. He even started the car to cool it off while we filled out the paperwork so the car was nice and cool for me when I left. I will hopefully not need to return anytime soon but Caliber will be my go to if I ever did need more repairs in the future. read more

I have tried 3 out of the many Caliber Collision's here in Fresno because they are a USAA preferred auto shop. 2/3 have been okay but this last experience will be my last using Caliber completely. Caliber had my vehicle for the longest time, replaced my engine and when I got it back my skid plate wasn't even fastened correctly. Two months later and coolant is leaking. When I brought to their attention my service rep Henry told my boyfriend and I that they would cover a rental and now it's all changed. When a service rep says things and then it changes it's so unprofessional. Now I'm having to figure out a back up vehicle when it's their fault and the service rep promised multiple times they would cover a rental. Avoid this Caliber at all costs. read more

I'm very upset I missed my appointed drop off time (ok my fault) my car has already been assessed, parts were ordered just needed to stop it off. I requested the the girl on the phone hurry to reschedule or contact someone as I had to go into a meeting. She wanted to argue stating ma'am you don't have to talk to me like that I told her I have to go into a meeting but of course she has the power do I shut up to allow her to do her job. Only to get my appointment rescheduled for another month. This guy hit my car January 2, 2022, I had to call the insurance because after a entire month no one called me. I'm very upset #1 that someone hit my car while parked, #2 that I had to wait a month to take it to be assessed, #3 another month yo get it fixed, now another month to drop it off. This is ridiculous, I have to wait almost 4 months for my car to be fixed. They didn't like that I was speaking fast but that was because I had to go into a important meeting, at this point I'm very upset customer service was poor, but because I was rushing them the scheduled me out another month. I just want my car fixed at this point, I'm over it. My car is not really drive able so it's parked. read more

We brought our 2023 Subaru Outback to Caliber for collision repair to the right rear quarter. We chose Caliber on North Milburn for its location, its franchise association with 1600 nationwide locations, recommended by the insurance company thru a choice of 10, or any other shop of our choice. It's a modern, clean facility with all the latest collision repair equipment. Appointment was made for estimate and right on time, estimate forward to insurance and approved for repairs. Once they had all the parts we brought the vehicle in and they gave us an estimated completion date of which they completed the vehicle one day early thought they did find additional required repairs once parts removed! The Subaru was delivered back to us as New! Absolutely second to none repairs as if it never happened! The color match is perfect and it's a pearlescent White. 3 way paint system done right with perfect gloss, just like factory! The estimator was friendly and knowledgeable and kept is informed along the way. The final invoice was $8,300 so this wasn't minor work. Wonderful shop and highly recommended. read more

Had some work done here after an accident and the customer service alone deserves 5 stars. The constant updates through email, phone calls etc. The work was amazing too!! Looks brand new. I had mentioned that I had work done at another location and wasn't happy with it so I opted out having work done at another location if needed and Steven asked why, so I showed him and they readjusted my front bumper and it looks great. That, to me is going above and beyond in customer service. All they had to do was fix what needed to be fixed but they did more~ I also have had work at Maaco and it was horrible, when they gave me my car back it looked streaky and just overall bad work. This place, you can't even tell, everything blended nicely, they detailed my car and gave it back to me looking better than when I dropped it off!! I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend their services!!! read more

All in all a really good experience. When my car got rear-ended, that wasn't a good experience. I came here because I know several of the employees who came here when it opened, before Caliber bought them. They were sympathetic and cordial. After a few days it became obvious I would need a rental car so the other party's insurance set me up with Enterprise. There is an Enterprise counter right here at the body shop. Pretty sure they were doing their best to fix my car because it was taking awhile. I guess the other party's insurance, Nationwide, was harassing this body shop to go faster. The insurance didn't want to pay for my rental any more. Caliber stood up for me and did the job right. This place is one of those "authorized" shops by most insurance companies which means the work cheap for the insurance companies and try to be efficient for them. Caliber did a great job on my repair. I would come back here again for insurance repairs for sure. This is the only Caliber location to go to. It's better than the other locations IMHO. read more

I got backed into and was referred to this place by my insurance. They had me take my car in for an inspection & wouldn't let me schedule until all the necessary parts were received (which is efficient & makes sense). I took my car in on 5/23 and was told it would take 4 days. Later that day I received a call from my service advisor who told me that there was more damage than found at the inspection & that my blind spot sensor was cracked. I was then told that they needed to order the part & once it was received, replace and recalibrate. They also told me that they could not release my car until it was fixed because it was a 'safety hazard'. Which doesn't make sense bc there are plenty of cars that don't have blind spot sensors or back up cameras. On 5/26 I was informed that the part would be in that day & that I would be informed but never was & when I contacted them on 5/30 (5/29 being a holiday), I was told that the part would be in this week and that they would keep me updated. It is now 6/1 & it is nearly impossible to get ahold of who I need to talk to. I got ahold of my service advisor attempting to get some understand of why my car is can't be released to me bc the blind spot sensor being damaged is a safety hazard & also to figure out what the point of the inspection is if they can't get a full one of everything needed so that all the parts are there when the car is dropped off to be fixed but the service advisor gave me very little information and rushed me off the phone. It has been over a week and a half now & not having a car for 4 days is inconvenient enough & it's looking like the car won't be ready until next week. This place is not very customer friendly and has awful communication. read more

Dropped by today because my rocker panel was knocked off when my tire blew out. It would have been a quick fix, I just needed a technician to put it back on and I would have paid labor rates or whatever since I still had the panel. The girl at the reception desk says they're booked. Ok fine, I did drop by unannounced. I proceeded to ask to make an appt for another day and she tells me that they only do collision work and that I should take it to a repair shop. Lol. She must have thought I was dumb; I do work for insurance and write estimates. So you're telling me you don't do R/I on your sheets? I only needed an install. No wonder they're getting dropped as a network shop by some insurance. Dumb customer service and all they want is big repairs for money apparently!! read more

My car was here to have the bumper repainted. After 1 week, I went to pick it up, and the paint job was bad. It was still foggy. They brag about their quality control, and somehow didn't notice their poor work. Took in my mother's vehicle in for a rear end collision. My first attempt was to return to the caliber Collision on Blackstone by Lithia, since I've been there before and had an excellent experience but was told they were not a direct authorized AAA approved shop but recommended to go to there Herndon location. They took care of setting up rental for us and everything was going smoothly at first. Told us it could take a couple of weeks. Got a call about 5 works days later that yeh vehicle was done. We came in picked up the vehicle and left. Few days later we noticed with the rising temperatures the rear bumper warped and had a gap and gas door was very poorly installed. Took the car back in to have it correct, that's the 1st time returning back. I was told they were able to "fix" the issue but caused another with burning the paint. I was told to return a SECOND time and I would get a rental while they corrected their error. Was told it would take a couple of days. I was called once again earlier than expected. Only 6 hours I was back to pick up the car and rental was returned again. Two days later. Same issue came back with bumper gaps. Called for the 3rd to take back in. They offered to get us a rental, we declined as my mother was now out of the country on vacation and we didn't need a rental. Upon returning for the 3rd time we found yet another issue with the work performed. The right passenger side color didn't not match at all now. So we didn't even take the vehicle. Retuned 4 days later to inspect the work for the 4th time. They finally got it but it took 4 times for them to get the repair done correctly AND for a AAA regional manager to come inspect the vehicle before they even called to let me know it was done. I never recommend anyone go to this Caliber Collision on Herndon. Poor craftsmanship and poor service. How can a company allow their poor craftsmanship to leave their shop and need 4 attempts to correct it. Obviously someone their isn't doing a good job on going over what gets released back to customers. They don't like being told how they unconvinced myself and my brother in getting this corrected. I don't know if anyone that would like to spend their two days off they requested from work to take back a car to get it repaired multiple times. I won't be recommending this Caliber Collision location to anyone. Stay away, unless you're bored and have time to deal with bs of coming back multiple times for them to get it right. Haven't experienced their actual services but my boyfriend called the day BEFORE to specifically ask if they could help him with engine repairs because there is something wrong with his car. He calls and they say they could help him and he makes an appointment for the next day at 12 pm. We get there the next day, and not only is the guy not there because he forgot about my boyfriends appointment and went to lunch and showed up 30 minutes late, but after waiting so much time he arrives to tell my boyfriend that they don't even help with engine repairs and follows in giving my boyfriend information on for another mechanic. I went in to caliber collision to get the spoiler on my toyota 4runner fixed as it was falling off. I went in and I was immediately greeted by Michael Hernandez and Raymond Urbano. I explained to them what I wanted done to my vehicle. They took a look at the spoiler and told me no problem, they can have it fixed in no time. I asked them how much they would charge me to repair my spoiler. I was told it was going to be free of charge. Now that is what I call customer service. They took my vehicle in and reattached my spoiler and added some new fasteners to ensure it will stay put. Avoid this place, their office staff does not care about you or your business. After I took my car in for its inspection I was told that I would get updates regarding when parts would arrive and when to bring it back in etc... I never heard anything from them and had to constantly call to stay on top of this and make sure it actually proceeded forward. When I did finally drop my car off I was promised again that I would get updates about the status of the vehicle and some information on other odds and ends that I had inquired about. Again I never heard from them and had to constantly call to stay on top of them. I was finally informed that the repairs were completed and that my car was ready but that I was unable to pick up the car because they insurance company had no paid yet. I let a couple days go buy and called to check in and got the same story every time. "the insurance company had not paid yet" I was furious and told them to give me contact information for the insurance company so that I could get to the bottom of this. I called the insurance company and ripped into the poor guy who was extremely helpful and informed me that they had paid a week ago and gave me copies of all the paperwork the sent. I had to go back to cailber collision and read them the check number before they would finally agree that they got paid. MY CAR WAS HELD HOSTAGE FOR NEARLY A WEEK! because they are too incompetent to do proper book keeping. I had to do it for them!!! I wrote earlier that they did not keep me up to date on the status of the repairs, that is not entirely true. I got emails about twice a day in broken English that literally gave no information. just generic stuff like "your car is being worked on" and "we are on schedule". Despite the nightmare above the repair work seems rather nice. I am happy with the way my car came out. Perhaps the guys in the back deserve a raise, they should just dock it from the office staff. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a business in since the fiasco with the vet and my dog. They were seriously offended that I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, even thru covid I wait in my car what can I say grandma raised me with manners. She said not to waste people's time which is exactly what this place did. I arranged the rental car to pick me up, I was unaware of the process and wasn't informed even though my insurance is the top of the line. Minor spoof, but when they arrived a second employee from caliber came out and was very rude about the situation. Unbelievably the employee stepped right into my face waving her finger , which she later stated was to help me understand her point, well my last physical went well and I have a 4.0 so I feel confident in saying I don't need anyone within a foot of my face to understand any point. I am so happy I chose Caliber Collision on Herndon and Milburn to repair my car. This was my first accident and choosing a good auto body shop was a real worry for me. I wanted to find a shop that would do a good job and that I would feel comfortable with. When I came in to get a quote everyone was very nice, accommodating and understanding of my worry. Ramsey handled my car repairs and he was awesome. He would return my calls quickly and had no problem answering any questions I had. He worked with my schedule and kept me up to date on everything that was happening with the repairs. They had my car finished 2 days earlier then expected and when I pointed out a scratch on my window Ramsey took care of it right away.
