they suck. they send fake texts about the status of the job. two days later the car won't start

While I hope I don't need collision services anytime soon, I can't say enough good things about Caliber in Cornelius. I had some front bumper damage from a teenage driver on my Wagoneer and they had "Betty White" looking good as new in less than 1 week. I received the quote on Monday, dropped it off on Tuesday and picked "her" up on Friday. They even provided me a shuttle back home after drop off. read more

Loyd was the guy dealing with my car. They put the wrong bumper on my vehicle for the trim package my car is supposed to have. They told me when I asked about the bumper that they could not get the bumper that went on my car because they don't make them anymore which is a lie. The bumper for my car can be bought on Amazon right now. They did not replace the tire that was damaged on my vehicle from the wreck. I am so disappointed and mad. They let me drive off from the body shop for a 30 minute drive with an unsafe tire. I am so unsatisfied. Don't take your car here and don't trust these people or Geico representatives with your property. They will screw you over. My 2020 Chevy Silverado was rear-ended by a distracted driver on 5/12/2023 in Charlotte,NC. I sent my truck to Caliber the following Monday. It is now 6/2/2023, and I still don't have an estimate or any idea of what's going on with my truck. I check my Carwise link every day and have been calling the Cornelius, NC location almost every day for three weeks to get an update. Every time I call, no one knows anything about the progress on my truck. Just to clarify, I'm not asking when my truck will be done with repair; it has been three weeks, and I'm still just waiting to get an estimate. I called my contact at USAA on Tuesday, 5/30/2023, to see if he would have better luck. They informed him that they would provide us with some information by Friday. However, it is now Friday, and Mary said that since Joe isn't there, we have to wait until Monday to "hopefully" get an estimate. I understand that there might be shortages, but it shouldn't take three weeks just to get an estimate, and they shouldn't promise an update on Friday if Joe, (the only person who can provide estimates at this location apparently), knew he would be absent on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It shouldn't take three weeks to provide an update, and it's unprofessional to make promises and not deliver on them. It's been 3 weeks, and all they have managed to do is delay a relatively routine process and give me the runaround. This is ridiculous, and I'm not sure why USAA is still partnered with them at this point. read more

Caliber Collision - This is the damage on my truck. I've been waiting weeks just to get an estimate. - Body Shops Near Me - Cornelius, North Carolina

The work completed was fine, but the overall execution and communication needs a lot of work. We were ready to pickup the vehicle after repairs, but we were told that a headlight received was "broken" and so the pickup was to be delayed. We had no way of knowing if the headlight was broken, let alone whether or not it had been ordered. No update was provided prior to learning this at the shop, firsthand, so my son and me wasted an afternoon setting aside time for the pickup - only to be told it wasn't ready. Then, they said it would be ready on "the 21st". Then, my wife receives a text that says it would be ready on the 24th. We were traveling on the 23rd, but we then told - at the last minute - that the car would be ready on the 23rd. What ultimately happened is that we had to quickly head back home right after Thanksgiving to pick up the vehicle because they closed at 12 Noon that day. To make a long story short, though; this particular Caliber was either late or inaccurate on updates concerning the vehicle and we had to go out of our way to receive the vehicle in a timely manner (and prevent another 2-3 delay, plus getting out of work, school again). To top it all off, they didn't seem to care. Well, next time they won't need to care, because we will tell Geico, etc. we want to use a different body shop! Oh wait - I'll make that a one star review after asking my wife about how the front desk acted about it all. Trying to tell us we could have, should have. Huh, the customer is ALWAYS correct - and do not forget it! A good response would have been "We'll pass your concerns along to management. Thank you". Instead, it was as if we were being blamed because we had to swing back to pick it up on Black Friday. read more

From the moment I walked in the door Caliber Collision was nothing but professional, Jeremy took great care of me while paying attention to detail, assisting with my vehicle, transportation and excellent customer service! I will definitely be returning! Their communication with the client is a far beyond standards!! A+++ read more

I was rear ended a few weeks ago and this is the place their insurance company suggested. Of course this is always a huge inconvenience especially when you're not at fault so for ease I decided to go with their suggestion. I cannot say enough great things about this process. They called me and texted me throughout the process for scheduling, updates, rental car Information and even delivered my car to me when it was completed. For obvious reasonsI hope I don't have to use them again but will certainly give them a 5 star referral. read more

I used Caliber Collision as a body repair shop due to a car accident and all I can say is that the service was excellent from beginning to end. The rental car representative was available and waiting upon arrival, the check-in/vehicle drop-off was simple, and they walked me thoroughly through the process and kept me updated via text and email every step of the way up to completion. They also followed-up via phone to speak with me about what was being done and an updated completion time. My vehicle looked brand new without any inkling of it being previously damaged. They did excellent work and were very professional and pleasant to work with. Hopefully I will not need their services again, but I would go back to them should the need ever arises. read more

My daughter's car was rear ended, and Geico scheduled us with Cornelius Caliber Collision. My daughter did all the leg work and interaction with them, and said they were great. They did the repairs in less than half of the estimate and the work looks like the car did when it was new. Extremely satisfied with the overall repairs. read more
