After my car was totaled and the other driver's insurance did the bare minimum, I was stuck. AAA Asheville recommended Rickman's, and I'm so thankful they did. The damage to my car was almost as much as I paid for it, and insurance barely lifted a finger. But Jessica and Daniel worked incredibly hard to get the cost way down--at their own expense and time spent--just to help me get back on the road. When I couldn't pay right away, they didn't pressure me. In fact, they offered to cover a large part of the cost themselves! I did pay them, but that offer alone showed me the kind of people they are. This is the most generous, honest, and compassionate business I've ever dealt with. It had been in a wreck you would think an impact bar might be damaged right? They didn't. He promised me it would be ready by Fri of that wk. When I called on Friday he said it was ready but it was to close to closing for my husband and I to make it there because it was an hour from where we live. It was a good thing we didn't go pick it up because he called Monday and said when they drove it they decided it needed wheel bearings. I finally picked my care up today March 26. I'll post another review later to tell you if the repairs are right. If you can't do without your car for 2 months then I suggest you take it somewhere else.

Had my car for 20 days and couldn't even put it together properly…read more Failed to reinstall bolts securing the front bumper cover to the front fenders, failed to install the fender liners properly (hanging down from the fenders), left sanding marks in the base coat so it looks like it was painted with a paint brush, failed to have the alignment done after being hit at the right front fender and wheel, and has yet to call me with a replacement right headlight after installing one that leaks (first attempt was to plastic weld the headlight brackets and it was completely crooked). If you value your car at all, take it elsewhere. I thought going to a local shop would be my best bet. Boy was I wrong. Nothing but cutting corners and excuses from them. They do not stand behind their work and does not honor their warranties.
