However, I believe consumers should be aware that I was required to sign a repair authorization before the shop would prepare an estimate for my insurance claim. My vehicle was non-operational and was brought in for evaluation. The shop concluded the clutch was the source of the problem and began extensive body teardown work as part of the estimation process. After the vehicle was returned to me, I had the transmission removed and the clutch components were found to be largely intact. The actual problem appears to have been internal engine damage rather than a clutch failure. What surprised me most was the extent of the teardown performed before I understood what would be involved. At one point, major body panels had been removed from the vehicle even though no repair work had been authorized beyond the estimate process. After I raised concerns with both the shop and my insurance company, all charges were waived and the vehicle was reassembled and returned to me. The truck appears to have been put back together properly and in substantially the same condition it was in before the teardown. Based on my experience, I would recommend that customers ask detailed questions about what authorizations are being requested, what teardown work may be performed during the estimating process, and whether the shop is performing a body estimate, a mechanical diagnosis, or both.

This shop is ran by true scammers, Alfonso and his assistant Judy, are the definition of unprofessional, dishonest, and unsafe. I trusted them with my car for what was supposed to be a simple 1-2 week repair. They demanded money upfront, claiming to be a "small mom-and-pop shop" that needed the funds to buy parts. To speed things up, I Zelled them the money. Instead of doing the work, Alfonso gave me excuse after excuse, blaming my insurance, blaming suppliers, blaming anyone but himself. Meanwhile, my car sat on their lot for 30 days (untouched and unrepaired) in the Texas heat. When I finally requested a refund and to take my car elsewhere, Alfonso and Judy turned hostile and aggressive. I was verbally attacked and had to call the police just to retrieve my car. By that time, the battery was dead from sitting unused for so long and I now have to pay for another one. They refused to provide any repair timeline, refused to return the money I had already paid, and their negligence forced me to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for rental cars. Alfonso continues to string me along with empty promises of a Zelle refund, claiming his business "needs to make more money first" before he can pay me back. Imagine that level of dishonesty. After researching further, I discovered I'm not the only victim. The BBB and other review sites are filled with similar complaints about this shop taking money (including insurance payouts) and failing to perform repairs. This is not a one-time mistake, it's a pattern and a scheme. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any business. The lack of professionalism, ethics, and basic human decency is shocking. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even for something as simple as an oil change. I had to go find them again to scan the system to cancel the lights. And they said the "lights were on when they got the car." I told them that's why I reached out and offered business. Wasn't it their job to wrap it up before saying the car is ready? Service - I chose them because they said they offer the service to send the car back to me without me having to show up there. And it was communicated that they could have the car fixed within the day. It was discounted after they got the car, saying they didn't even have the parts ready by the end of the day and that they had to wait one more day. Plus, they told me they could only Uber me to their plant to pick up the car instead of sending it back to me. They should not OVERPROMISE on such supporting services as the customer chose them for the sake of time. It turned out I had to cancel lots of errands, which would have been totally avoidable if they had been upfront and decent from the beginning and throughout the service. I gave them two stars instead of one only because the manager showed a good attitude and admitted that they should have done a better job. Anyway, the experience was NOT pleasant.
