I was treated like a number and not a person. Caliber had a closer relationship with my insurance than they did with me.

I had an accident with my truck that required repair work on my radiator, grill and bumper . I was kept fully aware of the work needed with a full breakdown of parts, materials and labor and my deductible. Everything was laid out. They even reached out to me about the progress of the repairs and any preferences I had. When I picked up the vehicle the work was much better than expected and everyone I encountered were So nice and friendly.. Setup an appointment through the insurance company to get an estimate from this location. When I arrived at Caliber the employee said they wouldn't write the estimate unless I leave my car there for the repairs. They are a preferred shop for the insurance, and I was going to have them repair my car but I wouldn't trust them to do the repairs now based on the employees attitude and lack of customer service. He made it clear that he didn't care if i got my car repairs there. His name is Charles. Took my car in for repairs, and everything looked great.Two weeks later I got in another wreck and was told that the previous body shop I took my car to tie wrapped my bumper and did not do the alignment and sensor check on my car. I will not be going back to this bodyshop. read more

Well what can I say. This is a large corporate franchise where the employees really don't care about customer service. When we arrived to get an estimate at 2 pm with nobody else in the lobby, the front desk person said she'd get an estimator. One was standing there but he said he's on his lunch break. Then another guy was also on lunch. Basically everyone was at lunch so make the customer wait! So we waited about 20 min and finally one guy was done with lunch and we took him to check out the car. Looked at it for about 5 min. We went back inside and he said it would take 20 min to write the estimate! Ok so we waited and waited and waited. About 30 min pass I ask the front desk lady if it's done. The estimator said another 10 min! Finally the guy comes back with the estimate. The price was competitive but he said he wouldn't be able to start for another 4 weeks!! Why didn't he tell me this in the beginning and not waste over an hour of my time there! I would not recommend this place. Employees have the big company don't care attitude. Can't speak to their work quality but if it's anything like their initial impression, it would be underwhelming. I recommend going with smaller family owned business that actually values you as a potential customer! read more

I was in a vehicle accident earlier this year and set up appt to drop it off at Caliber on Prestige Circle in Allen. I completed the information sheet that included my phone, email address and other contact information. The service writer (Wes) stated I would receive weekly updates and the vehicle should be done in a couple of weeks. I didn't hear anything the first week. At the end of the second week, I still hadn't heard anything so I called to check on the status and the service writer stated they hadn't started the repairs and felt like I needed to take it to a dealership? He said he had been trying to get in touch with me and apparently was dialing the wrong #? Apparently, he never bothered to look at my information sheet to confirm the # or attempt to email me. He could've also contacted my insurance company that authorized the repairs. The vehicle had more damage than they originally estimated (it was not totaled) and I believe they just didn't want to deal with the repairs. I wasted two weeks of the vehicle being in the shop as well as losing two weeks of rental car while my vehicle just sat there. We had used Herb's P&B (who apparently was bought by Caliber) several times and always had great service. Needless to say, we will not consider Caliber Collision again. read more

This is the second time I have used this company to repair my car. I was in an accident a few years ago. They were able to replace the sensors in my front bumper. Then I used this company a few days ago to repair some of the paint on my bumper. They honored their warranty and got me in and out in a few days. I actually do not live near this Caliber store, but had a good experience the first time, so I made the drive. Jeremy was the manager who I spoke with. He was very friendly and accommodating. He texted me with updates too. I had a great experience and will make the drive again if I ever need any repairs. read more

PSA: Caliber Collision does not repair fully electric vehicles. My vehicle was in a minor fender bender. I made an appointment through the insurance carrier and brought the car in. Spent the morning getting the rental car set up and did the walk around with the estimator. Later that afternoon get a call that they won't be able to do any further work on the car because it's fully electric. Should they have told me this before I went through all the hassle? I had body work performed on my Ford Edge there this week and they fixed it and had it back to me in 24 hours because they knew I was going on a trip. My car looks flawless after their hard work. I highly recommend Caliber Collision in Allen (Prestige Cir. Location)! We were in a fender bender and lost the front grill. We ordered the part and attempted to replace it ourselves but it was a bit too complicated. Mark and Joshua, at Caliber Collision, fit us into their schedule and got the new grill installed within a couple of hours. Not only did they work us into their busy schedule, they didn't charge us since they were able to do it rather easily/quickly. I had a great experience. I brought my car in at about 10am and they had me out that day. This wasn't a huge job; but, they got me a much better deal on parts than I was quoted by the dealer. The final price when I cashed out was 62% of the price I was quoted. My service advisor was Brad Duncan who was outstanding. Under promised and over delivered! I had planned to drop the vehicle off and take an Uber home. Instead they drove me home and came back and picked me up when the car was done. read more

Caliber Collision did a fantastic job with my car. Their customer service was exceptional. When my car was dropped off by the tow truck, they noticed the tow truck driver had a cigarette while he was in my car. Jeremy brought it to my attention immediately and told me they would make sure my car was detailed so that there is no smoke smell. Scott constantly kept me posted and made sure I understood where we were in the process of getting the car fixed. They also made sure I knew what is going on in regards to insurance since the insurance was covering the expenses. When I got my car back it was good as new, quite literally. You would have thought I just drove it off the lot. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their vehicle. read more
