I live in Irvine and he said he'd be happy to come up to me but once I found out that I'd be closer to him for work, we scheduled a meetup point that was both closer to him and convenient for myself. A true professional. Covered my entire windshield to make sure no glass or resin would get stuck on top or seep through into the engine. Explained what and why he was doing what he does. His quote was so good I didn't even compare prices. He assured me that upon completion, my windshield would not be damaged further, and save the cost and hassle of an entire windshield replacement. Once we set up the appointment he called to confirm. Upon arrival he revised the entire windshield and found two smaller issues on the windshield. Nothing major but he said, "I'll take it care of it since I'm here." Having used Safelite before went to them to fix it. Next available wasn't until Thursday 1-5. No ideal but I went with it instead of looking around. I took the day off work, cleared my schedule and hung at home, waiting. And wait and waiting. At 4:45pm still no call so I call them. I was told they assigned it to be rescheduled and they'd call me tomorrow. Uh excuse me. If that was the case why wasn't I notified. Why did I have to call them? I told them that was not acceptable and I needed to speak with someone to come out today or refund me. She stated all she could do was send an email as customer service was closed. Are you kidding me?! I even called the location. No answer. Called customer service and same thing. Now by a miracle I get a call back from someone who sends a truck over. When he's done he drops off my keys and it's now 7pm. I don't have anywhere to go, it dark so I don't bother going to look at it. The next morning my passenger window is down. And glass and debris is all over my dash, seat and floor. None of which was from the initial incident. When I reached out about this whole experience I was met with, vacuuming is a courtesy but if I wanted someone to come out to clean it they could. Again, are you kidding me. It's your mess. They won't do anything, no credit no anything. Won't use again and guess what my wife has a crack in her windshield that we were waiting to do. Now we won't be using Safelite for her.
