I hired Cali Party Bus for an adult birthday from SF to South Bay and back. Compared to competitors, the Cali Party bus website made it easy to plan the ride. They also sent many reminder emails of what to expect. Our driver John was really kind. We added an extra stop and extra time and he was very accommodating. I've used Cali Party Bus several times for special events/birthdays and I'm always so impressed with their service and the different party bus options they have. You have different bus sizes to choose from, various price ranges and whether or not you want a bathroom (definitely recommend one with a bathroom if you'll be drinking a lot of liquids). They usually provide cups and a couple of other handy things. They give you the exact price right away based on how long you'll be needing the bus for/how long the distance is so you're never left with a surprising bill. Get this party bus for your next event! We got the 20-28 seater with bathroom and it was perfect. The communication up until the event was so clear and helpful. We changed our route a couple times and they were so kind and flexible with us. Our driver Jordan was absolutely amazing- he really took care of us and was a safe and fun driver. Bus was on time, driver was professional and very kind. The bus was just as expected in the pictures. Bathrooms are very small. The karaoke machine was not loud enough and only had 20 songs, so next time I'll keep my $75. Next time I might not get a bus with a bathroom as well bc no one used it bc it was so small lol but everything was perfect! And I would easily book through them again. I suggest going bigger for busses so everyone has more space. For a small but they say 19 can fit, in these pics luckily 2 ppl didn't show up, I had 15 and it was shoulder to shoulder. From the onset, everyone at CPB was so helpful and quick to please! We solicited 3 quotes and CPB was the most responsive, transparent and professional. In addition, our 'driver' named JORDAN helped ensure SAFETY was a priority and also managed to be patient with some of our drop off requests. We hired Cali Party Bus to transport our family to and from our wedding reception venue in SF. Our driver, Butta, was very accommodating and made sure to give us a call before he arrived and when he arrived. He arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled time, which was perfect since we were on a tight schedule. The bus we ordered came with a restroom and everything was really clean! We had a blast singing along and dancing with all the party lights and loud speaker system. 10/10 recommend for any of your party bus needs! read more

We use Cali Party Bus on back to back days for a work team outing. The booking process was easy and straight forward. For those that are unfamiliar with these party bus rentals you are booking for the entire trip even if you are not actually on the bus. So if your trip is stopping at two destinations but your pick up and drop off time is from 10am - 5pm you are renting the bus for that period of time. The party bus was on time, clean and modern which was greatly appreciated. Our driver Bahti was professional and had great communication. He picked up us at the designated locations specified and was always on time if not early. Tip: The drivers are there to drive, pick you up and drop you off, but they are also waiting while you are having fun. So see if they need a drink or maybe some food as a courtesy. Not mandatory, but a kind gesture. read more

What a great experience! We planned a wine tasting day and always wanted to book a party bus. A friend used Cali Party Bus services in the past so we contacted them. Their website was very easy to navigate and I appreciated the description and photos of the bus sizes as well as costs. Our day started in the East Bay at 11 am and our ride was about 1 hour to our first tasting. Normally a 1 hour ride up to Napa would be too long because we're so anxious to get to the tasting room, but the 1 hour ride up in a party bus wasn't long enough! We definitely got the party started the minute we stepped foot in the "club on wheels". We made our fist tasting on time and had a great time. Unfortunately we ran into some traffic (the race was in town) so we did not make our second tasting, HOWEVER, it did not matter - we found another winery in the area and enjoyed the party bus experience. We brought plenty of food and beverages along for the ride as well as a good playlist and good company! Tips on how to make the best experience to the wineries on a party bus: 1) Start your day early (11 am was perfect) 2) Bring plenty of food (sandwiches, charcuterie boxes, crackers, chips, breakfast burritos) something sweet and don't forget water and vitamin water to hydrate *Note: we did plan to have lunch but the schedule was shifted due to traffic so having food on hand was helpful 3) Bring a great playlist - the sound system and lights make it a fun club'ish experience 4) Bring a jacket - the AC is powerful and you need it for all the bodies and heat people are putting off from all the dancing on the bus (we danced most of the ride) - but it can get a bit chilly 5) Treat your driver kindly - he/she is part of the party bus experience and tip them well if you enjoyed your trip. David our driver was so accommodating when we had to change our itinerary due to the traffic. It was hot outside so no one had a jacket but the AC in the bus works quite well and I was cold and David kindly offered me his jacket. Overall the experience was amazing - the bus seated 14 but it comfortably sat 10 - we had enough room to move around and dance which was important. The bus was clean, had a nice blue tooth sound system, and had built in cooler trays for your ice and beverages. I would highly recommend Cali Party Bus for a future event - we're already looking into booking another party this summer! read more

I celebrated a milestone birthday over the weekend and had an incredible experience we sent 8 hours traveling from Oakland to Napa and back. The bus clean, the sound system was great, we enjoyed the laser lights. It was an experience my family will not soon forget. The driver Bhati was excellent! He communicated his arrival time before hand, let me know when he arrived. He helped load the vehicle with my gift bags and drinks. Bhati's arrived in a clean Sprinter, maintained the air conditioning temperature and was an all-around great host. He kept us on schedule and even let me know in advance we might go over time. Communication was EXCELLENT every step of the way. You can tell they take customer service seriously. We had the XL, 40-seater bus. It was great, pretty, accomodating for all of us, had enough ice, the fog effect ans lights were great. We had a blast. I will definitely order the same bud next year. This is an annual event. I had an AMAZING experience!! Request Bahti! This review is LOOOONG, so the takeaway is, service was great, the bus was amazing and Bahti is incredible! I previously reached out to a different company and had a bad experience just while I was trying to get a quote, so I decided to keep looking. . . I'm glad I did! The team was very helpful and informative about my options. I ended up getting the "Small Party Bus w/ Restroom" and added the pole and a karaoke machine for my 30th birthday. The bus was listed to hold 10-19 guests, my group size was about 15 and we were all very comfortable, I opted for water bottles as well and they came in handy. The reservation process was seamless, if I had any questions, I would reach out to the team and they would respond quickly. The days leading up to the trip I sent my itinerary, drop off and pick up locations as well as confirmed final details. The day of the pick up, I was sent my driver's information and confirmation of my itinerary. The driver for the evening was Bahti. Bahti arrived promptly, we were running a little late so I called him ahead of time and let him know our ETA to the pickup location, he was very understanding and patiently waited for our arrival. Bahti was SO friendly and very assuring, he made sure to confirm our itinerary once more with me and we were on our way! Because of concerns of COVID my family and I only wanted to stay on the bus, as opposed to stopping at bars or anywhere crowded. We drove around San Francisco and partied on the bus, we brought our own drinks and had so much fun with the karaoke machine! The trip was very smooth and we could barely tell the bus was moving, we stop at secluded spots every once in a while to take some fun pictures and to get something to eat before the night was up. Once the night was over, everyone was so happy with the service; it was the first time some of my family members had been on a party bus and they were so happy I had a few let me know that they wanted to book with this service in the future. I don't typically write Yelp reviews, let alone lengthy ones like this, but I was so pleased and wowed by the service Bahti and the Cali Party Bus team had provided that I wanted to let everyone know. I have had party bus experiences before and they've always just been okay, meh, nothing special. That is not the case here! I purchased a table for my family and friends to attend the Sip & Swirl Events in Livermore. We were excited to attend. We were told we would be in a VIP section and receive wristbands. This experience was supposed to include a table covering, ice bucket, charcuterie board, and a small centerpiece. We were also supposed to get pours from Staff Walking Through The Event. We were also told that VIP guests Did NOT need to check in with general admission. They stated that my guests and I would go straight to the VIP area, which would be near the event center. Our table would have my name on it, as well as eight pink wristbands. Since there were so many issues, I will list the points. The event started at 4 pm, and at 1:37 pm, I received an email stating that the event truck was broken into and all items for the event were stolen. She requested that we bring chairs, blankets, food, and wine glasses. When we arrived at the event, no one was there to greet or direct us. There was no check-in table, and I had to ask other event attendees who was running the event. After 10 minutes of searching for the host, I showed her my ticket and asked where my table was. She looked confused, walked away, and never returned. I then began to walk around the event to see if I could locate the table. I finally found my table with my name on a pink Party City wine bag, but they were still setting up my table. Which appeared to be an afterthought as we were separate from all the other tables. I then had to chase the host down again to get the wristbands for my guest. I asked about the charcuterie because, in the email, she said she had the items, just no boards. She responded she had the things but no boards, as they were stolen. However, she was trying to figure out a plan. Mind you, we never got any salami! There was no wine to sip or swirl as no one was working the event. They had two bars located clear across from our table. The lines were super long, and we were expected to stand in line for one pour. I made the best of the situation, so I went inside Wente and purchased wine for the table and two charcuterie boards. Only to be approached by someone who identified themselves as a helper of the host, stating that I could not bring outside wine into the event. Well, one, it's not outside wine; I purchased it at Wente Vineyards, and two, what do you expect us to do, sit at the table and wait for the non-existent workers to pour the non-existent wine? The DJ could not turn up the music until 6 p.m. due to other patrons at the winery who were not a part of our event, our table was clear across the other side. We were unable to hear the music. One of the event attendees had a medical emergency, and there was no event staff to be found. EMS was called, and the Wente staff had to come and assist her, and they were very helpful. Also, I'm still unclear; the host says her truck was broken into while she had lunch. So the event started at 4 pm. At noon, shouldn't you be at the event setting up and not getting lunch? I don't know. Maybe I'm a skeptic, but it sounds wild to me. Lastly, even if all your items were stolen, that doesn't account for you not having anyone working the event. Were the event staff stolen out of the truck as well? She also could have publicly addressed the attendees and said something to us to help us understand the flow of the event. We reserved it a month in advance for 1:30-5:30pm and were instructed to pay in full via Zelle to hold the reservation. The week of the event, I followed up with Reese to confirm everything was set. He replied that we were "all set." On the day of the party, all of the girls had arrived by 1:15pm and were excitedly waiting by the window for the limo. By 1:37pm, there was still no limo and no communication from Reese. My daughter kept asking, "Is the limo coming?" and was trying hard not to cry. At 2:02pm, after waiting over 30 minutes with zero updates, we decided to move to Plan B and drive the girls ourselves. Just as we were walking out the door, a limo finally pulled up. The driver explained there had been car trouble and that he had been called in last minute as a backup. Unfortunately, the limo itself was in very poor condition: no AC, some windows didn't work, no music system at all (we had to grab a portable speaker), and a broken seatbelt alarm that dinged nonstop the entire ride. Most disappointing of all, Reese never contacted us afterward -- no apology, no explanation, and no partial refund. Completely ghosted. This was an incredibly stressful experience on an important day for our daughter, and I truly hope no other family has to deal with this on their child's birthday (or any event).

I ended up knocking my $18 1/2 glass of champagne on the ground where it shattered (I have tremors in hands) - not a single employee came by to ask if we were ok, to clean it up, move us to another table or offer to fill my glass back up 1/2 way. This is within the first 15minutes of sitting. Our server was a ghost. She had on this dark purple, pinstriped shirt (not hard to miss) and would walk by and tell us she'd be "right back!". All she did was check in when we were first seated to ask what we wanted, before we read the menus. She didn't ask our prefereces, she didn't go over any specialty wines or specials. I was very disappointed with the entire experience. We both got the red flights on top of our champagne. We ony liked two reds and the pours were so small, it was truly difficult to tell all the depth, character and full bodiness of them. We bought no wine bottles.And, no one encouraged a sale either. I was going to get the JFJ white bubbly, but this place with its poor service, tiny pours (not even 2oz) and even tinier charcuterie plate serving sizes wasn't worth it (salami, goat cheese w/oil, espresso cheese, 1/4 baquette w/oil). I was so embarassed that I brought my friend here for her 50th thinking we'd have a blast, like at Rockwall or Dasche - NOPE. All that for $135!

As good as it gets is an understatement for this company!!! I have used this party bus service for two friends birthdays now and reference Cali Party Bus every chance I get around San Francisco. First of all, they have great prices for what they offer compared to other companies in the area (I called them all, to make sure my best friend was getting the most bang for her buck). I spoke with Kyle who was soo nice and helped me plan a huge surprise for my friend which turned out perfect. We got a huge bus for 40 people with cool lighting, leather seats and an ipod set up and even a screen set up if you want to do a slide show (so nice inside!) and got to go wherever we wanted. This guy totally helped me plan the whole night, where to go, pick up and drop off times and it was soo easy to set up everything! I'm currently planning another event for me and my friends next month and wouldn't use any other company because of the success I've had two times already now. As for Debby Downer girl complaining about her experience with mechanical problems with the buses and quoting age old adages, I've previoulsy used other companies and and ran into unavoidable mechanical problems and this was the LEAST of my problems. We got Cali Party Bus for an event from Stanford to SF. Here's my review: Katie: Very professional, understanding and caring. She made the entire process very easy and made sure we get the bus we wanted at an affordable rate. Excellent professional and friendly service. Thank you Katie! The bus: It was amazing! It had crazy lights, tvs and music bumpin before we got in. It's the perfect environment to party. Everyone was dancing on the bus and I think we all enjoyed the bus more than the club haha. Just be careful while opening the windows :) Pete: THE BEST PARTY BUS DRIVER YOU WILL EVER FIND! First of all, he arrived 15 minutes before the event started which was very professional. He was really friendly throughout the night and made conversation with all of us. When we got down for the club, two of our members couldn't get in coz they were too drunk. Since I was organizing I was about to stay back. But our man, Pete, took care of everything. He made sure the two people were safe and got on to the bus after spending an hour on a bench outside. At one point we ran out of songs to play on the way back, so Pete plugged in his ipod and we were rolling with his music haha. First of all, the company you keep is what makes the PARTY!! Where do I start, made arrangements with Anna & Brett was excited with the details they provided, so I booked the bus. As it grew closer to the event, which was 09/26/09, I wanted to finalize some details. Found out that I no longer had my free round of shots @ the clubs promised, because it was a promotion, which, by the way is still listed on website. The bus arrived 75 mins. late and the bus driver looked like he stepped off of Soul Plane, with his cousin on board. We then started our venture to the first club, Lamar, our driver, was driving like a bat out of hell to get us there, and when we did, it was @ capacity. So, we had to fly to the next club. Air conditioning was broken in the back of the bus, neon lights were intermittent, and sound system was distorted. BOTTOM LINE, bus needs an upgrade, staff needs to take a class in customer service, because it's like a cheap hotel dealing with these people. ONE MORE THING!!!! You have to get to both clubs you choose b4 11pm, which is impossible, or all your guests will have to pay for entrance. Staff tells you on a need to know basis, so get everything in writing, and way b4 hand so you can cancel early enough. read more

We organized a bus party for our international students graduation and it was completely awesome. We were almost 40 people in the 40 persons bus, a real pimped ride. We are not basketball players so we really had enough room to dance, drink and have fun. After more than 1 hour, be careful the floor begins to be very slippery, it's time to go to club! We did 2 clubs and then were dropped back home in 6 hours and a half. Our driver who spoke all the languages on Earth (which was really appropriate for an international party!) was the best driver ever! Very kind, very helpful, relax, on time, careful and patient with the drunk people, he really plays its role to make this party unforgettable! At the beginning I was a little suspicious to book something that I won't see before, do the process only by phone... but the yelp reviews make me wanna try! Katie is the one who was in charge of my reservation, she is also very relax (it was a last minute organization and it wasn't possible to have any mistakes! Cali Party Bus has made me want to only ride their buses anywhere I go! I have used them once for a club hopping birthday party and another time when a friend coordinated a Napa wine tour. 2 different buses, and 2 different drivers- both ridiculously great trips!! The buses are WONDERFUL inside and out with incredible features and class. The sound systems make you feel like you are in the most amazing club ever, while the atmosphere lets you mingle with your close friends and dance ridiculously without random club people watching. AMAZING. It is transportation to the party while BEING the party. I didn't even want to get off the bus at our first club stop! The drivers were also so cool, safe, and prompt. It was really easy to plan the whole night with the help of Kyle and Katie. They were GREAT the whole time through- making sure all the details were set up and handled. The driver was great, helpful to show around and quick to come back once we were ready to leave our destination. The bus looked good and worked well for the occasion. My reason for leaving this review is for a few things, the sound system must have been broken because the Bluetooth didn't work and plug in options weren't great either. The cord was short so we had to turn around to change songs. And mainly we got the wrong bus. I didn't realize until after we left to start that we didn't get the bus with bathroom as booked and the businesses correction was to refund the difference between buses even though this was a huge inconvenience for us. We specifically picked the bus with restroom because most of our group uses the restroom regularly and especially when drinking it's needed and our destination was far so we could spend more time on the bus. People couldn't enjoy the trip as much because they were trying to hold it for 40 minutes. Lastly, we got the medium bus and there was no way you can fit 28 adults on that bus! We ended up having just 15 people and we had room for maybe 5 more at most. read more

Reserved a Party Bus for my birthday this past Friday (08/28/2015). I booked the 15-20 passenger. The reservation process was extremely easy. I booked my bus with Kent whom was extremely helpful, kind and very patient (as I changed my locations often before finalizing ONE destination). Our driver was, Anton, best driver EVER! (--Highly recommend) He arrived on time and was very patient as we waited for everyone to arrive. The bus was very nice and clean. I loved being able to control the different light options/laser lights. Cups and paper towels were provided which was great because it totally slipped our mind to bring some. We did have to provide our own ice but that wasn't a problem. We arrived at our first location which was a nightclub in San Francisco which looked deserted on the outside and I decided I did not want to go in. Anton, was extremely cool and ended up taking us to different locations with views of the City (which were beautiful). We ended our night at Penthouse in SF. From start to finish, over all the bumps along the way, my experience with Cali Party Bus was exceptional. I reserved a bus on behalf of a corporate client in the Bay area going to a San Jose Sharks game. This was a business event with staff and prospective customers traveling so it had to be professional and perfect. And it was! Although we changed our requirements several times and in spite of a last minute problem with the bus we reserved (someone threw a rock through a window), all went exceedingly well in the end. Katie Austin, the General Manager, never showed any frustration with all my phone calls. She gave us the best price in town. When the last-minute glitch came up, we worked it out. They gave us a different bus which made the pickups on time. The client was thrilled with the driving, especially in the rain on the return trip from San Jose which was late at night. Starting with Katie (Thanks Girl) she booked my event and was able to give me all the information I needed to make me feel comfortable with the whole party bus scene. Then there was our driver Terrance.... O.M.G he was awesome! He was so friendly and to the point and he let me do my thing. I was not in his way and he wasn't in mine, and we were able to work together as teams to make sure my guest were satisfied. I was not too happy with the door man from atmosphere he was so rude. But that is another review I have to do. So our night ended short at the club and as soon as I called Terrance he was there to get us, we didn't have to wait too long. We coordinated a wine tour to Sonoma from downtown SF. We initially discovered Cali Party Bus through https://executivelimobus.com, which is their day time limo service. We went with them rather than the normal 2x2 seating setup because it is so much more social. It was a great experience coordinating from across the United States. Cali Party Bus was extremely responsive, responding multiple times a day. They also have a newer bus with lots of interior options. Our driver was Bhati, and he is extremely prompt. He showed up 20 minutes early, kept the back of the bus clean when we were out tasting, and made sure the trash was empty. When we told him we needed an unplanned bathroom stop half way back, he took care of all the planning. Recommendation: Make sure you put someone you trust next to the heating/AC/light/music controls in the back. Have fun! read more

Fantastic service! About a month ago now my friends and I rented a 20 person party bus for a company auction event in San Fransisco and we had such a great experience with these guys. Booking a bus was no problem at all; I called about a week ahead of time, gave them the details of the event, and we were all good to go. They even called a couple days before the event to make sure the scheduling was correct. The bus itself was just amazing! LED lights were everywhere, there was plenty of space to be comfortable, it was super clean, and of course you can entertain yourself with the uh... stripper pole lol. I went on cali party bus last weekend and had an absolute blast! We got the 20-30 person bus and had 26 ppl which was about right. The bus was super nice and our driver lamar was totally accomodating. I saw the review by Andrea and felt inclined to comment aswell...1st off who gets a party bus and stays sober? 2ndly, who goes bar hopping and doesn't drink!!! Im sorry Andrea but maybe you should rent a hearse next time if you just want to drive around and be a buzz kill! I would highly recomend Cali Party Bus to anyone that wants to have a good time...if you don't want to have fun look somewhere else. I wanted to go tubing at the Russian river with a large group of friends and we didn't want to take multiple expensive Uber's or obviously drive after enjoying a few drinks. This was the first company to get back to me not only by email, but by a personal phone call. They made the booking process super easy, and contacted me the week of my trip to make sure they had my itinerary set to a T! I added a custom drink package which was super convenient and nice to have when we were picked up. The bus had a cool wet bar area set up that we were able to replenish with our own drinks. What an amazing experience, The Staff were awesome. I had an interesting event - my wedding reception which involved driving around San Francisco jumping off at various locations and . Doing wedding things ...like throwing the bouquet with a back drop of golden gate bridge .. and driving up to twin peaks and doing the garter toss etc . Extremely fun and perfect day- and they made our day flow perfectly .. The driver was great I had dj's on the bus and the company even built as special dj table to enable this to happen. The day before our wedding, they helped us plan a welcome tour of San Francisco for our family and friends that ended up being one of the best days of our lives. A huge shoutout to Tiffany (who planned), and Robert and Antonio, who were our drivers and tour guides. They helped craft a great route, were completely punctual, and brought so much energy and hospitality to the whole experience. Robert (drive and owner) was the reason our night turned around. Our first bar was an absolute disaster, but instead of just driving us to the next stop, he immediately took control and pivoted to a different list I gave him. He reached out ahead, coordinated with the remaining bars, and made sure we'd be welcomed and taken care of for the rest of the night. That level of service is something I've never experienced from a transportation company. The bus itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and a blast for our group.
