Then to add insult to insult/injury; an hour after I left their office they called me to apologize and tell me that they were "Willing to work a special deal for me" This was the day after my mother passed. I work literally across the street from where this took place and (their office) and even though it's been 3 months since this situation it makes me sick when I see their sign as I am leaving or returning to the office. My requests are not outlandish, you treat me as such because I recognize the cash grab. Prior to that thought. 1. Between the Funeral home representatives and the Mortuary representatives, the cost is upwards to 50k to bury someone. 30k for the plot - 16k for funeral home costs. Let's not forget taxes on my end having to pull that much money from the bank for an UPFRONT COST. They claim payment plans are available - it's a credit card that you have to apply for. No other pricing arrangements were suggested to me. I feel as though I have been discriminated and targeted on the assumption that I might have money. 2. I've made several attempts to call and speak to Warren - Never calls back. I've made several attempts to itemize the bill. NO CALL BACK. They even said you can itemize the bill! This tells me a lot about their business practice. If you don't make their deal, you will be cast aside. Sickening.
