When we arrived we had been told they had food, however that is incorrect. But we made due with the Dairy Queen that was just up the road. The environment was amazing. Great people. Great staff. They treated us like locals. We absolutely loved singing karaoke, and dancing. The crowd was not any single type. There were country people, bikes, goths, preps, old and young. We all mingled and having a blast. Drinks were priced just right and they held the COVID rules very well by only allowing 150 people into the bar. The place was at capacity quick, but way worth it. We loved it so much, the next night we left the casino and went back. Love it.

I've had great food and fun in building like this. Was told to set where we wanted so we looked around at the pretty full dining room and sat at a 4 top reading the menus at the table. Few minutes later, waitress came up asked if we were with Don? Nope we aren't. Apparently, we chose Don's table and had to move. Maybe put a reserved sign on Don's table? FYI, if you see a table with menus, don't set there. Means it's someone's table. Menu is large and many options of Louisiana fare. Boudin balls, crab bomb appetizers. Seafood, gumbo, jambalaya, etc. Cocktails, beer, full bar. Oh, and Ollie can be found behind the bar. Decor is just kitschy enough to give you things to look at while waiting. Waitress told us we needed to check out the large space outside. It was one of those hotter than hell days in Oklahoma. I did take a peek. It's larger than the main area. Looked jungly to me and had it been about 40 degrees cooler might have chosen that area. Waitress was pleasant, talkative, helpful with food and drinks. We had crab bombs (crab, boudin wrapped in wonton, fried, served with Jalapeno slaw) Highly recommend. Not crab heavy which me not being a crab fan loved. I went with Jambalaya (chicken, shrimp and sausage) white rice and 3 thin triangles of garlic toast. Spousal unit went with the Ollie's special. 3 cups of gumbo, jambalaya and another he nor I can recommend. I have a coworker from central LA and have eaten her jambalaya and will vouch that Ollie's is very authentic. I like spice in mine & was provided a bit of Slap yo' Mama and I added Louisiana Hot Sauce. I just drank water as it was too hot for alcohol for me. Spousal unit went with beer. He went straight to the bar to check out what was on tap and what was in the coolers. When he went back to the bar Ollie told him that he was out of that, but right over Ollie's right shoulder was several cans of it (maybe they went with Don's table). It took longer to get our check and that we had to chase her down to get as it than ordering and eating. I might give it another chance if I'm ever in the area, but maybe not on a hotter than hell night. You'll probably have a better experience than I did. The food made up for it.

Singing all my life, but I only started singing karaoke a couple of years ago. The first place I…read moreever went, the KJ completely forgot to show up. The next night, I went to a show at a different venue. This show was amazing. Needless to say, the show that got me hooked was by Totally Twisted Karaoke or TTK. Having been to karaoke shows all over the Metroplex as well as out of town in the three and a half years since, I can tell you this continues to be my favorite karaoke company in the area. The show is run efficiently so that the maximum number of people can sing -- no sitting around listening to recorded filler music between singers. KJ's are friendly and encourage people to sing, though I will put in a personal plug for Keith, having been to about three times as many of his shows. Selection of music is fantastic, not only in English **but also in Spanish**. They get in new songs all the time and if you ask for a song they don't have, they absolutely will get it so long as it is out there to get and legally available. You can believe there is a special place in my heart for each of the songs that they have gotten over the years at my request. :) Picking a song is easy, too. Forget fumbling through a big binder of faded pages in tiny print. If you like choosing the personal way, talk to the KJ. But my favorite is the ability to search their entire database of songs either by title or by artist and sign up for as many as I want all at once. I can sign up for all my songs of the evening at one time if I like, or go sign up every time my turn is coming around. In fact, there's no need even to get up... They have a setup where you can pick your songs wirelessly from your phone once you're in the venue. About those turns: fair rotations with the list posted on the screen for everybody in the place to see. None of that nonsense where a KJ skips a friend ahead of others or lets somebody go additional times in exchange for a big tip. You get your turn in the same order every time, with duets counting as the turn of both people. Have been mostly to public shows -- both in bar settings and in family-friendly restaurants -- but the private parties for which they've been hired have been fun as well. All the ones I've attended have been of drinking-age adults; however, they also are hired regularly for parties of teens and even daytime parties of little kids. Prices are quite reasonable and I've never known of any party hire that ever regretted the decision. I know I sound like an ad, but believe me, I've never been paid or compensated for any review I ever did. This is the way that I write, the way that I've written since I was a kid, and the reason I'm going on and on about TTK is that they are the reason I am a karaoke addict today. They have given me nearly 4 years of good times, up to 5 shows a week when I'm off in the summer, and although I'm doing this to return the favor, it's also a little selfish... The more public shows they have, the more chances my friends and I get to go sing with them!
