Lukas is so friendly and knowledgeable and his prices are the best in Calgary as far as I can tell! I dropped my laptop with the charger connected back in February and ever since my ability to charge my laptop has slowly declined. It got to the point where I shoved a little piece of a cut up hair elastic inside the port along with the charger in order to hold it in place - although this also stopped working soon. I called several places and they all quoted me higher prices than Lukas did, without even asking for details. Here are the quotes I got below: A Laptop Shoppe Calgary - $175 Ducktoes - at least $110 Next Gen Technology - $80 but they stopped responding about how long it would take Lukas quoted me $80. When it turned out to require a replacement rather than just re-soldering, he had the part on hand and only charged me an extra $10 for the part. He had it done within a day; I dropped it off Wednesday evening and picked it up Thursday evening! Definitely recommend Lukas for any computer repairs! read more
