Just returned from a Caledonian Travel Mini Cruise to Paris. Joining me were husband, brother and sister-in-law. All of us being coach holiday virgins!, so had no idea what to expect. We cannot praise it highly enough and were discussing which destination for our next trip with the company while still on the coach back to Glasgow. From the start to the end everything was well organised. The coach was clean with onboard facilities. The Campanille Hotel in Bobigny, Paris was clean with good food, (although seemed a little under-staffed at times, but that might not be the norm!) The boat cruise on the Seine and the dinner and caberet at The Belle Epoque were also well organised and fun. So that only leaves a revieiw of the coach driver/tour guide Ian Stuart, what can i say that won't cause embarasment!!!! PURE DEAD BRILLIANT ( Billy Connolly eat your heart out!) From the get go he was friendly, helpfull, informative, and one of the funniest people i have ever met, he made a great holiday exellent. As soon as the loudspeaker clicked into action you just knew you were in for a little gem from him, whether it was historical info on the area we were driving through, or instructions on checking on-board the ferry, or some funny anicdote on life. Dont hesitate if you are looking for hastle free short break to Paris, we would give it 20 out of 10 if we could. read more
