I came to Dr Nelson with issues with my big toe after smashing it a few years ago. Other ortho Dr's told me to wear orthotics, or take pills forever, but Dr Nelson said "nah it's just a bone spur, we can fix it." So a week or 2 later I had foot surgery, and it went SO great. Dr Nelson is amazing, very smart and thorough, explains things well, and really did an amazing job with my surgery. I'm recovering still, I'll update my review in a month with how it's feeling and how it looks.

The process was super quick and easy. I was able to upload my insurance card and fill out forms ahead of time. When I arrived and checked in with the front desk. They were able to check me in very fast. Everyone in the office was super nice. I liked the doctor and her assistant. I explained my situation and she was able to help. The procedure was quick and painless. My toe feels so much better now. They provided instructions for my after care treatment. I was impressed with the results and quality of care: The office is very nice and clean. It's close to my home so that's a plus. The location was great and perfect for me. So, including the top inserts, I spent $528 only to last 8 months before they wore down and were useless. I read where other reviewers purchased the same system from Amazon for much less, so I will be looking into that. The reason for at least 2 stars was because although they didn't last long, it did bring relief to my aching plantar fasciitis feet. Update: Their Director of Customer Service contacted me and assured me that the inserts were replaceable for life even if just worn out. I went to the store in Allen and Tyler was super helpful explaining the process as well as helping me fit into a new pair of inserts at zero cost. So super happy!
