They are so caring with pets, caring with owners, take time & trouble with every patient, go the extra mile with every case, are gentle & understanding with our little companions & with the owners & are genuinely interested in the treatment, the welfare & the outcome every time. Their service in every area is without parallel, their prices are excellent & I recommend them to everyone. But I didn't care I just wanted her better tho my local vet was still clueless to what was wrong but happy taking my money, one day I decided to take her to richmonds has I heard it was cheaper n tbh it was best thing I ever did, the vets there were so lovely n in a few visits we found out my poor dog had kidney failure and due to my local vet not picking it up in her blood tests (which they took every time I went)me and my family had to watchy poor dog suffer, my dogs kidneys were that badly damaged I had to have her put to sleep which was the hardest thing I have ever had to do! My poor dog wasn't even 4yr old, richmonds vets did everything they could to help and was so helpful and compassionate! I would recommend them to anyone and I wish they had been my first choice of vets because I lost one great dog due to local vets! Thank you Richmond vets.

This could've been avoided on several accounts as it was confirmed twice by receptionist that we wanted a private cremation but instead she was put in communal and never returned home to us! What they've done is absolutely unacceptable and heart breaking to say the least. Then to offer to send flowers or even an empty ash box... disgusting! Do not trust your loved ones to Calder! Avoid them and pass this vital info on as no one needs to go thru what we have as a family. Our fur baby never returned home!!

They over charge and are more interested in making money than the animals welfare. *Some* of the actual clinical staff are good, but management will find any excuse to pad your bill, and then absolutely stonewall you when you query it. Also you can not review there Facebook page and it took 4 days to get my bill and even longer to get my clinical notes? Then to add a final insult offered to give me £2 credit and said that they had worked my bill out incorrect? * ( from my working out was not) .
