Looking at the reviews this vets seem to have improved considerably…read more I used them around 10 years ago. The turning point for me was when I rang in as an anxious pet owner asking about treatment for my dog, the receptionist thought she put me on hold. She then proceeded to use every F word possible and scream that she couldn't F'ing cope with me. Her supervisor came on the phone and I advised her that I had heard everything and she could only apologize. I immediately changed vets and informed them that I could not leave any animal of mine in their care if that is how they spoke about their clients! I also took a Terrapin in for treatment which I had found, the vet looked and hinted they were not funded for wildlife but said the Terrapin looked alright. I then rang the RSPCA who took the poor creature to a sanctuary, it died en route. Coincidentally they then took it to Peak Vets who diagnosed extreme muscle waste. So not alright then? Still they didn't have to treat it as it was dead. The Partner Steve rang me to ask me to clear my bill, no apology! He has since retired. So it was 10 years ago, still a lot of the staff I spoke to are still there. Sorry but had I not heard how that receptionist/vet nurse and her disgusting and disturbing outburst then I would have been none the wiser. Lets hope they have changed!

Both vets obviously love animals and they are wonderfully reassuring to us worried owners too. The reception staff are also extremely friendly and are on-hand to answer enquiries by email as well if you haven't got an urgent problem. I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the area.

One of my cats was paralysed as a kitten and we thought we were going to lose him. Thanks to Andy and his team of nurses, who looked after him daily over a 2 month period, he is now a healthy 6 year old. I have always found everyone at the practice very friendly, enthusiastic and professional. Andy and his colleague are superb vets and offer many different types of treatment, aside from standard medicines. They explain things clearly, even when those things may not be what we pet lovers really want to hear! I would absolutely recommend this practice to any other pet owner who values their animals health and wellbeing.

Started by Andy Jennings, it has since expanded, without losing the personal touch. All the staff, from the receptionist to the vets and their assistants, are really friendly and patient, even with our cat who, for no reason at all, seems to have an instinctive dislike for anything to do with the vet! They are happy to give advice on any aspect of pet care, and they sell many of the things you need for your pet. If you are registered with Holme Veterinary Centre they send you reminders of when your pet is due for vaccinations and worming etc.

After being an inpatient for two days he came home and slowly recovered and is now a very well and happy cat looking forward to Christmas with his family. I was not able to get insurance for him, so had to pay for all treatment myself. I have a number of rescue cats. I paid all bills over the last 21 years without question. During 2010/2011 my then 13 year old developed a knee problem. I was concerned with regard to her treatment. she had a plastic knee which cost over £500.00 with the cage I was advised to buy and other things. she had to be kept in the cage which ended in being a duration of over 6/7 weeks as the hole in her leg did not heal. She was stitched and stapled. no collar was put on at first until WE requested it. Finally, being exasperated I returned to the vet for the 6th time, seeing a different vet, and saying I wanted to leave my cat there until they had sorted out the problem. I had a 4 year old granddaughter and my cats leg was oozing rubbish. I telephoned to see how she was and a very snooty receptionist told me that she had taken so long to heal because I hand't followed their advice. I had! I bought a cage £50.00 another litter tray. kept her in it for far too long. returned to the vet 6 times which cost for the fuel and time off work. I told her this two weeks later I received a letter saying they did not want me as a customer any longer. my husband was livid. I wrote for an explanation and was completely ignored. I contacted them some months later because my pancreatic cat was very ill and they wouldn't treat her. So what point it the Royal College of Vets advising people to contact the vet in the first instance. Once you question anything thats it absolutely shocking treatment and I don't believe they care two hoots about the animals because they would not treat mine even though they knew he could die. Really caring vets if you have nowhere else to go, yes use these Willows in Endon.

Review of End Cottage Vets (Zero Stars if I Could Give It)…read more Every single experience I've had with End Cottage Vets has left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and deeply frustrated. The level of arrogance and indifference from the staff is staggering. I phoned today simply to request a repeat prescription -- something I've done before -- and was immediately talked over and treated like I'd never dealt with them in my life. Instead of listening, the man on the phone patronised me, insisting I should use the automated system as though I'd somehow imagined previous direct conversations. That attitude sums up this place perfectly: cold, defensive, and uninterested in genuine care -- either for animals or for the people who love them. Their prices are extortionate, their compassion selective, and their first instinct seems to be to push for the most drastic (and expensive) measures rather than finding ways to actually help. The overall tone is hostile and transactional, not caring or supportive. End Cottage Vets should be ashamed of the way they treat their clients and the animals entrusted to them. A veterinary practice should stand for empathy, trust, and understanding -- three qualities this place has consistently failed to show.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET FIND ANOTHER VET!!!! After my cat went blind I was told by one of their senior…read morevets that my cat had cancer. To be sure they wanted me to undertake tests which I agreed to. After tests they said there was nothing systemically wrong with my cat. No other explanation of the blindness was offered. A few days later I took my cat to a specialist eye vet for a second opinion who told me he was 95% sure my cat had a systemic condition likely to be cancer and he asked me to arrange for the scans to be sent to him so he could view for himself. I asked for the test results including scans to be sent to the specialist vet 5 times but the scans were never sent despite assurances every time that they were being sent. This prevented the opportunity for my specialist vet to see the scans for himself to confirm his judgement. When I pressed them on why the scans were never sent they finally admitted that due to human error the scans were never saved. I made a formal complaint which is also being extremely poorly handled. These people do not care about animals only profits. BE AWARE. THERE ARE OTHER LOCAL VETS YOU CAN USE BUT BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THESE VETS ARE PART OF A WIDER GROUP (WIGSTON GROUP) who are part of the same business. if I could have scored less than 1 I would have selected that option
