Great location, great communication, and great printing…read more This TPH location is across the street from the Westin, making it easy to order retractable banners for a conference exhibit. The corporate website described the materials available and had a convenient online form to request a quote (price and time) to fulfill the order. The manager responded in a timely manner, and thoroughly answered all my questions in subsequent emails. He provided guidance since a bank holiday could have complicated my project. I was happy with the photo of the banners that my colleague sent to me, after he set up the booth.

My phone is so important to my work life. There's absolutely no way around it, I need this thing…read more So what did I do when my battery was dying and it wouldn't charge? I solved the problem with a quick Yelp message to Ty the iPhone Guy! Well, rather they solved the problem. Within only a few minutes I received a text back at the number I provided. They told me a broken Lightning port would take about 20 minutes to fix and they'd be able to have it done today! Perfect! I dropped it off at their shop, well, their house, near Fish Creek Park. Note: this is a tiny mom & pop business run out of their house. I'm not sure if they always do drop-offs... They've got a branded car with their phone number on it. Maybe they do mail? Pickup? Not sure. While a house isn't the most convenient for a person to go to, it sure is nice to support a small business where they can look after their kids while working in the home-based shop. I came back a 20 minutes later and my iPhone was fixed... and it was FREE! Turns out the lightning ports are really bad at getting compacted pocket lint stuck down inside them, but you can clean it out with a knitting needle or something similar. Ty has a special tool for this, but a little bit of scraping and tapping got the job done. I'm both impressed and embarrassed with this discovery. I kind of feel like he should have charged me something for being a dumb-ass, but he didn't and that makes me really happy. It would have been simple to tell me that it was broken, replace the part and charge me the $50. Instead, they did it for free and made me a total fan! While I'm not sure how the pickoff/dropoff system usually works with the fixin' shop run out of the house, the process was very simple for me and got done right away. Not only did they do a fast and efficient job of fixing my broken (dirty) phone, they're the kind of honest people you feel good about giving your money to. Call them.

The repair required a part from China which they ordered but then it got 'lost' in the mail. We ordered the part ourselves, we delivered the part to this business and then received our laptop back July 2020. The cost was $190 plus GST and totally absurd. There is no accountability on what the charge is for and they totally deny having a $20/hour labour ad running when we delivered our laptop. Get the laptop home and we do not have the right charger for it. Charger doesn't work, wrong colour, damage on cord, safety prong gone. Not our cord. But hey, they don't have ours. The cost to order a new cord is $89 on-line. No professionalism. Do not give these people your belongings. Positive and glowing ads on phone are fake, I would bet money on it.
