Jumper delivered and picked up on time. The planning process was a bit more back and forth than I anticipated for something simple like a bounce house, but in the end we got what we asked for and the kids loved it. Our first 2 preferences were not available on the day, but they have plenty of options so we were able to find one that fit our needs. If you need them to add your venue as an additional insured for an event make sure you begin that process well in advance, as it took almost a month to complete and we barely got it in the last day. read more

Ordered one with a slide (without having to spend too much) for my 2 year old daughter's birthday who is usually a bit intimidated by the older kids that jump in these bounce houses but she loved it and so did my 72 year old mom (and everyone in between those ages. We always have fun with bounce houses but the slide kicks the fun meter up a couple of notches. They delivered on time and picked up on time too. Will definitely order from CalJumps again! Update 8/5/2017: Didn't realize this is our 4th year using Cal Jumps. My now 5 year old always requests a jumper for her party so of course we decided to go with Cal Jumps again and again they did not disappoint. On time, every time with a great product! UNETHICAL & UNPROFESSIONAL I decided to rent the jumpers, generator, tables, & chairs from CalJumps as I had used them several times prior. For this event, my communication with them began on 4/29 in which I inquired about 2 jumpers, the needed generator to accommodate them, tables, & chairs. In my email I specifically indicated that I would need their assistance in determining what generator needed. I received a response within a day from Jennifer. G.& she provided me with the following quote: Castle Combo $199.00, Inflatable Twister Game $109.00, Generator $109.00, 6-6 foot table $48,1-60"Round Table $13.00, & 18-White plastic folding chairs $36 - TOTAL: $514.I had paid the invoice in full & later added a 2nd round table which I paid cash for upon delivery. I received a call the Friday prior to my event from a man asking what time I wanted them to deliver. I asked if they can do 9:30am & he said no because he would only do drop off while I was there. I made it clear that I was going to be at the park early, as I needed to reserve the space & set up. So I then asked if he could deliver by 10am, & he again questioned if I woul be at the park that early. I assured him I would. On Saturday morning the man I had spoken to on Friday & a younger man delivered shortly after 10am & set up.For the two jumpers they dropped off ONE generator, an older generator at that. They set everything up & left the jumpers running. While I was setting up, my 3 year old used it intermittently.My event began at 1:30pm; by 1:40pm the generator turned off on its own & began to deflate with four kids in there. We quickly got them out & went to turn on the generator, upon doing so, we realized the cord was torn & were unable to do so. I quickly called the company to let them know what had occurred. It was the worst phone call I've ever experienced. The older man, who was the same one that I had spoken to on Friday & one of the ones that delivered the equipment is whom answered. I explained to him that the generator had shut off & that we were unable to turn it back on because the cord was broken. His response was "I know". I was a bit floored because WHO in their right mind rents out a broken generator. I proceeded to ask him why he would rent out broken equipment.He said he had told me upon delivery & there was nothing he could do. Which was false, he never once said anything to me about anything being broken. He said the only thing he could do is pick it up.I was beyond floored.I asked how he could do that, I had spent over $500 with him & that was the service he was going to provide?He then says, "You didn't spend $500!". I replied "Um, yes I did." & reminded him of everything I rented from him. His response was "Wait, are you the one from Fremont? I clarified that the delivery was in Newark & told him he had delivered the equipment. He then says "Oh S--t!" & continues to say everything was fine when he left, which it was, that is not what I was contesting. I repeated to him what had occurred & he said the generator doesn't turn off on its own-it was impossible & then proceed to accuse me of breaking his equipment.He said that I was not supposed to touch anything because it was all set up & again accused me of breaking the generator. Mind you, my guests were quickly arriving. I asked him how he could even accuse me of breaking it when he wasn't there to witness what had occurred? His response was "I don't know, but YOU broke it & there is nothing I can do for you!" I asked how he could even say such thing, how does a business owner not have the capacity to provide a resolution. He then says "you know what, I'll just pick up ALL my stuff!" again, I asked how can he do such thing, my event had just started, & my guests were arriving! He says, "I'm just going to pick up my stuff, I'm on my way!" & hung up on me. Where were my guests supposed to sit? I had a cake table, candy table,drink table; I had gone all out for this party & he threatened to ruin it all because of his faulty old equipment. About 20 minutes later I called them back & the younger man answered, I told him that I would be buying my own generator but needed to be sure that they would not come to retrieve their items as I had all my guests there. He said he would call me right back. He calls me back 2 minutes later & tells me that would be fine but that the older man had said he would no longer give me a refund for the generator. I told him that I should be refunded for the generator, but, that would be a discussion for another day as I needed to attend my guests.This is by far the most unprofessional, unethical, & disrespectful company I have ever contracted. It obviously goes to say that I will never be using them again. More importantly, I want it to be well known that their services are simply too risky & not worth the hassle or mental drain. Worst experience ever, dam near ruined my nieces 10th birthday party. Provided a busted generator for two jumpers. Refused to replace even though he knew the generator was no good. Cal jumps is the worst, they set you up for disaster. Don't recommend this place to anyone..they will ruin your party and leave you with nothing! read more

I reserved a carousel bounce house for my son's 3 years birthday party from "Cal Jump" (at least a month prior to the birthday party). I received a confirmation email TWO days before the birthday party. A day before the party, they informed me that they took the carousel jumper to a pumpkin patch which they host every year! HUGE disappointment. They FAILED to reserved the carousel bounce house along with the POOR customer service. Thankfully I was able to get a bounce house with a short slide from "630 Jump". We had the jumpy house all day for my four year olds birthday party and not only was it fun for the kids but a handful of adults spent half the day in it as well! Ours had a basketball hoop in it that the kids enjoyed and it was extremely spacious! I would definitely recommend this place for kid parties and adult parties! read more

Here's our experience - Jennifer told us that they don't actually have all the items on their website. They instead order from a different company once a customer wants a bounce house. Basically, they are 'middle men' and are at the whim of a blameless, nameless company. We ordered a bounce house rental on January 12th and were told that it was available for our party on March 1st. Over a month later, on February 20th, with a week to go before the party, we are told that the company they contract with will not be sending them the jumper in time. In other words, it isn't "their fault" or "anyone's fault"....even though they made no mention of being simply 'middle men' when they took our order. Bottom line....it was unprofessional and anyone considering a rental should know that they could have the same experience us and order one thing, but not actually get what they ordered and be left high and dry at their party. When booking a vendor for anything I always look at yelp reviews. This company had great reviews so I decided to book them for a company party. It was winter wonderland themed and it looked like they had the perfect Frozen Jumper for our event. I was asked to fill out a form which I did and shortly after that I reserved and paid for it. Easy enough. I guess in the future I should rely on constant contact because after that I didn't hear from them at all. I even sent an email asking if they needed anything on our part as we are a rental company and we could provide a generator or extension cord however I never got a response. On the day of our Party by 5:30pm (Our event started at 6:00pm) we all started to get worried. I called and left a hand full of messages as 6:00pm started to quickly approach. Finally, a man called me back and he had no Idea what I was talking about. I almost thought I was calling the wrong number for a second. All he said was, I didn't know about a rental for tonight I am in LA and who did you speak to? I told him my contact was Jennifer G. as I found from the little emails we did have. He said he would call her and call me back. By then it was already 6 and our event had started. You can imagine my frustration as it was my job to order the entertainment vendors and everyone who I hired was there except the jumper. He called me back and said he was sorry and it was completely their fault and that there was a fluke in the system because of the new year and they lost my invoice. As a rental company ourselves we do not understand how this could happen and should not have to. He said there was nothing he could do because he was in LA and no one was at the warehouse and that he would refund me the next day. This did not help at all since we needed the Jumper not the stress of it not showing up. On top of that we had 70 very disappointed kids as that was one of the main things advertised would be there for their entertainment. I will not even try to work with this company again. Lack of response, and communication on their part is not the customer's problem especially after everything is confirmed and paid for. Our company prides ourselves on making sure the items customers rent from us are at their event on time and is exactly what they ordered and we should expect the same type of satisfaction as customers. It is unfortunate I had to write this poor review but I would just like to warn others as I was fooled by good reviews. We have used caljumps on several occasions for parties both planned and last minute and they are extremely responsive, very professional and reasonably priced. The jumpers are clean and in great condition. They are usually early (fine with us) and will leave the jumper overnight for free if you reserve it past 8 pm. Highly recommended! read more

Super service! Nedded a jumper the very next day and none of the companies could provide a princess jumper for my daughter's birthday party, none of them had a permit filed with the Washington Park in Burlingame :( but Cal Jumps did. They were able to book me for next morning for the princess jumper and texted me my confirmation. Delivery and pick up times were flexible, both were done on time and fast. Delivery gentleman went an extra mile and cleaned the jumper thoroghly, just because it had couple of fog sprinkles on it. Very satisfied customer, thank you guys! read more

Ok I called CalJumps on Wednesday for a party on Sunday (my 1st jerk move) and they said no problem. On saturday when it had rained for 3 days and the forcast said rain on Sunday, i called and canceled (2nd jerk move) Again they said ok and didn't give me a bit of grief about late cancelation. then when it was sunny on Sunday, I called and asked if I could get the jumper. Herman and his guys are TOP TOP NOTCH!!! When i need a blow up, he is there and really appreciates repeat business. I've been with him since he first started and I will tell you, he has ALWAYS been able to provide dependable, professional and reliable service. I am so happy to have him on my speed dial. I'm so bummed that we had such a negative experience. We rented a bouncer and generator for our 4 year old son's birthday party in a park. The Cal Jumps guys showed up and realized that the generator wasn't working mere minutes before the party. They told me they had just purchased the new generator the day before (I sure wish they had tested it out before bringing it to a client who spent $400 with them.) They couldn't get the jumper going until 90 minutes into our 2 hour party because they had to go get another generator. I am a reasonable person and I realize that these things happen from time to time. So I assumed I would get a nice call from the owner with a sincere apology and an offer to refund half of the bouncer and generator cost. Not only did I never get an apology or refund, they simply said "the cost is the same whether you rent for 1 hour or six so we won't refund any of the bouncer cost." Well, I rented for three hours and the bouncer only worked for one hour of my party. They were so unprofessional and the customer service was so disappointing that I felt I had no other choice than to share this experience with other potential customers. read more
