This place is a once in a lifetime, bucket list type of restaurant.
It's about an hour or so drive from Barcelona and is in an old winery.
The menu is set at about 40 euros per person which includes all you can eat calçots as a first course with wine in purron
Second course is pan grilled lamb and butifarra sausage, with Catalan beans, all i oli, and deliciously grilled artichokes.
Dessert is sliced oranges and crema catalana.
There is a kids menu of canelones, macarrones, or chicken with fries if the kids don't want to eat calçots.
Tables are lit with real candles in a candelabra.
The open season for eating calçots is between December and March/April with the best time being between February and March. Make reservations well in advance. Tables can comfortably seat up to 8-9 people. read more
