There were roughly 35 guests & 48 cupcakes disappeared within 20 minutes!! My red velvet cupcake was amazing & everyone enjoyed the others. I want to express how responsive and prompt she was with her emails. She answered every question and worked closely with me to achieve exactly what I was looking for. The cake turned out fantastic and was delicious! My husband is a sneakerhead, and his facial expression when he saw the cake was priceless :) Everyone truly enjoyed the cake! I was assured that she would be able to make it but would not be able to deliver due to her busy schedule. I was told I would have to pick it up the day before the event, which I was fine with but it would have to be later on in the day. She assured me that it was fine and that she was flexible. 3 weeks before the event I was notified that I can pick it up the day before the event but it would have to be in the morning. Which was not what we agreed to. (Apparently she does not remember the conversation). I pleaded with her but with no luck. In the panic I called around to see if anyone could pick it up in my place and I found someone. But before I could tell the owner she refunded me. (This all happened within a 10 hour time frame) And after 3 calls and 2 emails she finally reached out saying that she will no longer be working on my cake. Even after I told her I was able to find someone she declined and left me 3 weeks from a wedding with no cake.

They are as good as they are pretty. I'm a buttercream and TRUE cake fan and these both were spot in. This buttercream and rich and the cake is moist with just the right amount of density. Listen, there is a clear cupcake war in the DMV and forgive me for coming to the party late on Sweet Elevations but you guys can't talk #cupcakewars without mentioning Sweet Elevation. Do yourself a favor and let her do the cakes for your next event! She threw in a free sweet potato cupcake which obviously didn't make it home Alicia's customer service is great. There are 3 criteria which I use to evaluate a cupcake experience and those are 1) buttercream quality, 2) cake quality and 3) price. Sweet Elevation checks off on all three. I addressed the girl at the front and she told me that they could add some sprinkles, a couple of monsters and that I would need to be charged 23 dollars AND I would have to come by several hours later to get the cake, I declined because it was the day of my sons party and his party was in just a couple of hours. This was a very sad experience and probably would not purchase a cake here again. Attached is the cake. Once I got home I added sprinkles of my own and a couple of picks to living it up.
