I approached several other high profile luxury cake makers after but I either did not find enough value or tasted horrible. Julia Fedorova's cakes tasted really awful among a million other problems with her. Ron Ben Israel's cakes are too expensive--it did not make sense to go with him when you are essentially getting an extremely similar cake for much cheaper with Vincenzo since Vincenzo worked under Ron Ben Israel. Therefore, I circled back to Vincenzo, convinced he was the right cakemaker to go with. I was not wrong. This was the best deal ever. I cannot believe that even my husband--who has thought that every cake I have ever gotten him has not tasted good--actually loved the cake and could not stop eating it!!! It's been a week since my wedding and my husband is still asking me if it is possible to just order a huge regular cake from Vincenzo so he can have more cake!
