Located right off the exit into Staten Island, the place is unassuming and you wouldn't think a flower and coffee shop in the area would have good coffee. So I had reservations but I always love to try new coffee shops so I stopped by. It's quite dark inside, with some seating by the window. They don't have any pastries, but they do have quite pretty desserts, which I wasn't in the mood for, for breakfast. I ordered a flat white with almond milk. Their prices are quite steep--$6 for a small latte or flat white and an extra charge for the alternative milk, plus tax, my order came out to be over $7. But the flat white was well foamed and creamy. The barista made a little rosette before covering it with the lid, which was a shame. Too expensive for everyday but it was a nice treat. read more
