Your cake did not melt! It collapsed from the bottom of cake. Pancaked out as I said and I did not demand my money back I came in just to show you. I asked for money back after you accused me of dropping or leaving in hot car none of which I did. Stop whining and just admit your cake failed this time. Maybe an apology that it didn't hold up this time instead of accusing me.

I visited on a grand re-opening, and I think I've found my go-to bakery in Naples for when I have a sweet tooth! I love the vegan and gluten-free menu and variety of cakes, mini cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, and brownies they offer. I tried the chocolate/vanilla and lavender-lemon cupcakes as well as the double chocolate-vanilla cookie sandwich. The cupcakes were small and only took 2 bites, but they are so cute and a tasty snack. The cookie sandwich was also good, but the filling was very soft so it was oozing out a lot toward the end with each bite. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly, and the store is very clean and bright. Prices are not displayed for everything, so I would ask if you are curious.

Great service. The brownie is very moist. The cookie sammie is worth getting as well. They do chocolate very well here. Gave me a free scoop of cookie dough not pictured but delicious!!! Super cute place and great desserts. Cinnamon roll was not my favorite

Sweet experience and even sweeter that everything is gluten free and vegan! Enjoyed several goodies including the brownies, cupcakes, and cake sammies We ate before snapping pics! Blessings on this business!

This place does not want your business if you're looking for a black cake or anything made for Halloween. What a joke!

The drinks were creative and tasty, and while the wine list is short, it is very well curated. We started with the octopus, the bread and butter, and the mushrooms as appetizers. All three were excellent, but the octopus was the clear standout. I had never seen it served in that particular style before. It was a completely new preparation for me and absolutely delicious. The bread and butter was also finger licking good. For my main course, I ordered the cod gnocchi. I am still thinking about this dish three days later because the flavors and textures were so unusual and memorable. To finish the meal, we shared the chocolate tart and the tiramisu bread pudding. Both were delicious, though they did not feel quite as uniquely extraordinary as every other bite and sip we had throughout the night. One of our party members is gluten and dairy free, and our waitress was incredibly helpful in navigating the menu for her. She was thrilled with the shrimp from the daily specials menu. My only minor critique is that I wish they had a dessert option that would have worked for her dietary restrictions. Overall, this was a fantastic meal with top tier service.

The service was friendly throughout the meal, but everything moved surprisingly slowly, from ordering to receiving the food. We tried the salad, burger, and lamb kebabs. The salad and burger were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The lamb kebabs were unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the meal. They were quite salty and the meat was much tougher than expected, making them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant makes a good first impression with its ambiance and welcoming service, but the food did not quite match the setting. While the experience wasn't terrible, I'm not sure there was enough to make me eager for a second visit.

The Herb burger was good, cooked a little more than I asked but still tasted fine. The donut burger was also good, but note that the donut isn't really sweet at all and is more bread-like. The service was not the best. They seated us before the table was ready leaving us standing in the middle of the place awkwardly. The menus were left on the chairs which were all left pulled out and it was just overall unprofessional. The server herself seemed miserable and like she didn't want to be there. She never checked on us once when we had our food. When we were finished and she dropped off our paid bill, there wasn't a "thanks for coming" or "have a great day" or an even a smile. We always leave good tips but she didn't do much to deserve it. I am unsure if we will return.

Our bartender and server were both attentive and friendly. We ordered the My Michelle, the house made fennel sausage pasta. I must saw, after 2 nights here, the pasta is actually my preference! The atmosphere is cozy with warm lighting, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. There is also a bar area with TVs, which felt a little different from the typical Italian vibe, but it did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night and you could definitely feel it. Everything moved a bit slower, and we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for the check at the end because our server was not around. We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

We were seated in a comfortable booth, and the overall ambiance was so lovely with high ceilings. We got there in time to enjoy a happy hour dinner menu. Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.
