I was suppose to get my wedding cake from them as I need a gf cake. I'm having a Halloween wedding and when my step mom went in to order the cake and have everything set up they were helpful and didn't say anything at the time. Once my step mom paid and left we got a voicemail that says they were cancelling our order and refunding it due to "religious belief" because they don't celebrate Halloween. LOL. I didn't want anything written or drawn on the cake. Just a simple black color. Acted as if I asked them to draw a pentagram or "devil worshipper" on it. Because of this you WILL never get any business from us again. And we went there frequently. As a business you should have told my step mom when she was in the store you weren't comfortable with it instead of wasting everyone time and getting peoples hopes up. I visited on a grand re-opening, and I think I've found my go-to bakery in Naples for when I have a sweet tooth! I love the vegan and gluten-free menu and variety of cakes, mini cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, and brownies they offer. I tried the chocolate/vanilla and lavender-lemon cupcakes as well as the double chocolate-vanilla cookie sandwich. The cupcakes were small and only took 2 bites, but they are so cute and a tasty snack. The cookie sandwich was also good, but the filling was very soft so it was oozing out a lot toward the end with each bite. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly, and the store is very clean and bright. Prices are not displayed for everything, so I would ask if you are curious. read more

Let me start by saying thank you for opening in Naples! We welcome another gf/vegan dessert option! That said, baking gf/vegan does not mean you have to overfill or over sweeten! We just tried 6 different types of baked goods.. the best was the Cookie Monster.. like a snickerdoodle cream filled cookie.. not overly filled and not overly sweet! The other Cookie Monster had only one note.. SWEET! Oreos were stale, cookie dough way to sweet, but the bohemian raspberry cookie dough better than the Java. The caramel pretzel sammi was stale.. beautiful pastry does not always mean fabulous taste.. you are going to have to go a stretch to beat Epiphany Bakery or bakery in Galleria! Plus Epiphany has the best gf quiche, and cinnamon rolls!! read more

I'm a self confessed coffee snob. Having grown up in Australia with access to endless independent coffee shops all of high quality it has been hard to find that same flavor in the US. I walked into Cak'd with no expectations. The server was pleasant, knowledgeable and very kind to give me information on their single origin coffee. I ordered an iced oat latter because it is hot AF today (#SWFLSummer). Amazing! Closet thing to an Aussie coffee that I've had in the nine years I've been here. Definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend is a celiac so we came rushing here because they offer gluten free options. That close at 3pm and we got here at 2:55. The door was already locked with the employees inside, we knocked to see if they would let us in since it was still before their closing time. They just ignored us, would not even respond or look at us. If a place closes at 3, then they should not lock up until that time. read more
