There seems to be a lot of street parking (not sure as I ubered). I wasn't sure what to expect from Parleaux - when I arrived it was late and mid-week - I think there were only a couple of patrons (but more arrived as I sat and talked to the beertender). The place has an open warehouse feel - you basically see everything on a longish room. I think there are around 14 taps but several were spent from the weekend. I ended up trying: * Tom Hayze - Pale Ale - American 6% ABV - Excellent pale with juicy fruity notes, fairly crisp finishing dry, hoppy and a touch grassy. 4.5/5 * Dom Parleaux - Sour 7% ABV - Tasty sour, tart fruity notes of raspberry and pomegranate. It's actually 7%. 4.1/5 * It's Not A Put Down I Put My Foot Down - IPA American 6.4% ABV - Hard to call this west coast, big sweet tropical and citrus body, hardly bitter on the finish. Still tasty. 3.8/5 * Barrel #33 - Farmhouse/Saison 6% ABV - Really unexpected mixed ferm tart saison, fruity sweet flavors, finishing funky and a touch woody, very satisfying. 4.3/5 * Law Dog - Bitter - Extra Special / Strong (ESB) 6% ABV - Mellow ESB, fairly easy drinking, malty note ls of caramel well balanced by medium bitterness. 3.7/5 * In the Secret Space of Dreams - Stout - Imperial / Double 11% ABV - Thin bodied stout, registers as barrel aged, notes of brandy filled chocolate and dried dark fruit. 4.2/5 All around great experience if a bit sleepy - it included some great conversation with the beertender around local brewing. There was also a couple of puts with red beans and rice that were free for the taking - I indulged and it was enough for me to forego eating something more filling (it also kept me in the brewery drinking so having it proved it's purpose).

The pub design/lighting is cozy and I loved seeing many of the different steps of the processing in the well organized working space behind the bar! If you're in the bottle room, you are in a posh elegant living room. If you're in the bar area, it's an intimate space. And then there are the tables on the loading dock which are a whole other vibe. Selection is excellent with a variety of wines by the glass and canned beverages available. I'm guessing you can also buy a bottle to be opened right then and there. Bartenders have all been lovely. And there is plenty of parking in the Art Egg lots.

There's plenty of helpful signage surrounding the warehouse to let you know where to park. I loved browsing around the beautiful little shop portion, which smells insanely good and is extremely air conditioned (crucial at this time of year... IYKYK). You won't be overwhelmed by the selection of wines, which is nice, but I very much felt there was excellent representation for every region and varietal. The best part-- that little bar situation! It seems to be in a shipping container that's lovingingly outfitted and cozy and perfect. There were two (rotating, I believe) bubbly by the glass options and very reasonably priced at roughly 9 and 12 dollars a glass. We took our glasses out to the loading doc tables. This was on the day of the art studios being open to the public, just the right amount of people roaming around and enjoying a glass. Definitely putting this on my list of favorite wine bars, as I appreciate the unique industrial setting and the high attention to detail in their offerings and customer service.

Bonus points for being pet friendly. They had great music playing, and the food trucks outside were a nice touch. I ordered two flights and honestly enjoyed everything I tried--lots of variety and solid flavor across the board. Overall, a really cool, off-the-beaten-path spot that's absolutely worth checking out if you're in New Orleans.

I have probably been a dozen or more times, and they are always changing things up. New IPA's, Pilsners, stouts, and sours about every time I go. This last time I went they had a habanero-pickle sour, but I was too big of a chicken to try it. Their Soft Focus DIPA was phenomenal, however. The inside is small, but the courtyard is a really cool place to sit even on a July afternoon as it is shaded with plants and umbrellas. They have different food vendors all the time and crawfish every spring. On our last visit, we had a really good Detroit style pizza. I will keep going because they are always trying to brew new beers and because it's my girlfriend's favorite brewery in Nola. If they still have the habanero pickle sour, I may even try it.

There appears to be street parking as well as some available lots nearby. Walking up from the water the first thing you see is this gigantic New Orleans mural and it's indicative of the brewery inside the same building - huge warehouse, it even has camper parked inside with a bar that extends much of the back wall. There are picnic tables so plenty of seating. I was there an early Monday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all, but I could imagine it being filled with lines to satisfy throngs of partygoers. There are five vertically placed flat-panel monitors with a variety of drink-menu options. I chose to get a flight of beers I hadn't had previously which ended up being 4 varietals of their King Cake Ale: * Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy pale, almost registers as a fruited sour, sweet body with notes of almond, amaretto, cinnamon and vanilla. 4/5 * Coconut King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Milky coconut in this almost tart King Cale ale, getting notes of both raw and toasted coconut, almond, amaretto, sweet vanilla and cinnamon. 4.3/5 * Almond Crème Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy body with distinct almond note followed by vanilla and cinnamon. 4.2/5 * Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Fruity tart strawberry in this pale ale, finishes fruity and sweet, a touch dry. 4.1/5 Overall I enjoyed the beers I had - all very drinkable. Afterwards I walked back up to St Charles and took a short nap and got cleaned up for evening shenanigans.

The label design and names of their beverages are cute, NOLA themed and makes me wish I did like kombucha. I attended this event & was ecstatic to see the arg amounts of people who enjoyed the taste of kombucha but also the health benefits. Lots of people attended & are excited to see Kombucha locally brewed here in New Orleans. Off in an area that's widely used by other business off Earhart near Broadway; this was the perfect place, perfect night, perfect weather. The facility itself is beautiful, widely spaced & gives off a laissez-faire kinda feel. Large brewing tanks adorn the floor for all to see.
