On vacation with my family stopped over in Pace to visit friends for a couple days, on our way back from Pensacola we decided to try out this place. It was early around 4pm on a Tuesday. We were greeted and escorted to our table by a nice young lady. I immediately noticed the decor and thought this place is probably a hopping and a fun spot during prime time dining hours. They had an awesome genre music playlist playing. Our server Charlie (Hope that's how you spell it) was on it! She had a huge personality and made an awesome margarita! We had boil bags and let me tell you I've eaten at these Cajun boiled seafood joints all over the country even Hawaii and like my wife said this place knocked it out of the park!!! This was the 2nd time I have been here with my family. We enjoyed our visit thoroughly - from our sever Gabe , to our food being brought out piping hot! We ordered the appetizer of the crab claws which came with a side of fries (sorry no pic), a snow crab boil, a shrimp boil, and my dad had the crawfish etouffee. Gabe was very attentive and answered all our questions. The place is very nice and spacious. We were seated immediately and with Gabe taking our drink orders. When he brought us our drinks, we were also treated to an order of hush puppies (sorry again no pic). They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with bits of corn. They were served with a yum yum sauce which my mother really enjoyed. In a very short time, we had our 2 boils and then my dad got his crawfish etouffee. My mother had her boil plain with the mild butter garlic sauce on the side. I had the mild lemon pepper sauce on my shrimp, The boils we ordered came with potatoes and broccoli - a little different from other boils we have had, but not bad and I actually liked the broccoli as it was still a little crunchy, as well a piece of garlic bread. Before we left we got an order of the popcorn shrimp and fries to go and as you can see they were nice and crispy and not greasy. I'll start by saying the staff were fine. Good people. Genuinely seemed like they were trying their best. The food, though, made me sick immediately. I get it, I gambled on some fried oysters... but these were genuinely the worst I've ever had and I had to go outside to keep from ralphing. they also had karaoke going on- at dinner time- very very loudly. We've been to both of the crab restaurants of this same franchise (different name) in Pensacola. Very pleased with our overall experience here in Pace. (We were happy to discover that they are open on Sunday & Monday) The service was just right. The menu had a good variety to choose from. The atmosphere was appropriate and comfortable. Music was in the background. Our meal came out at the appropriate time with a crisp house salad to start. You only need one (for 2 people) because it's the size of a dinner plate at only $6.99. All of our food arrived hot and fresh. My hubby enjoyed his steamed oysters. If you order the steamed seafood bags, be prepared to pay at any of these restaurants. My snow crab & headless shrimp bag was cheaper than the Pensacola restaurants, coming in right under $30. It was a nice touch to get a slice of bread & cup of lemon with our meal which we didn't get in Pensacola. Our meal for two, before tip, was $74. We got water, tea, 1 dinner salad, 1/2 doz oysters, 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb snow crab/shrimp. We enjoyed our meal and will be back! read more

We got there shortly after 6 on aFriday night. The place was busier than usual but we were seated right away. We ordered and got our food within 5-10 minutes. The shrimp and fixings were not hot and there was no sauce. Usually they are swimming in that good seasoning but not this time. Shrimp had no taste whatsoever. Totally bland. Waitress took them back to the kitchen and when I got them back I did have a little more seasoning but it did nothing for the shrimp. They were still bland...just terrible. I think we ended up getting someone else's order. We were so disappointed...probably won't go back for a while, if ever. It took us 45 to 50 minutes to walk in, order, eat, pay and leave and that on a Friday night. New restaurant in Pace, Fl. Great service, friendly staff, nice decor. Went for our 25th anniversary. The raw oysters were really good. I had King crab boil and it was great just needed my husband to crack the claw. Potatoes and corn were very good also. Oh ... My ... Goodness! We ate at Cajun Grab this afternoon. EVERYTHING was fantastic! I'm talking about not only the food but the ambiance and the service too. We each had the shrimp boil with mild Cajun seasoning, red potatoes, and a piece of corn. My friend added a lobster tail to her order too. Absolutely yummy. Mild is very mild so we will up the spiciness next time for a change. The restaurant was very clean, attractive, and fun. Our server Mason was extremely friendly and attentive (He went the extra mile to spoil us). And the other employees that we saw were very pleasant also. Not only was this my 1st visit to this restaurant, it will be my last. So I walk in, no one by the door to seat me or take my order. 3 different people walk pass me, no one says anything. Finally one lady ask me if I was helped. After 10 mins standing there. She takes me order and disappears to do her work. 50 mins goes by and nothing. We absolutely love this place, the boom, medium steamed, oysters are the best! When it comes to service Josh is hands down the BEST server we have had! He was very knowledgeable of the food and drink menu. I also noticed another table had seemingly been neglected by the server they had and he made sure they had been greeted as well as grabbed them boxes when she seemingly had not been back! 10/10 1000% recommend asking for him to be your server. Myself, and my family sat there for an hour no one came to even take our drink order! It was families coming in after us receiving their drinks, and food before us. I wish I could leave 0 stars and I will tell you why. Would like to start off with saying our server Kayla was amazing but the management was terrible. Our food took an hour and a half to reach the table and when it did my brother's plate was wrong and after 15 mins of eating they realized they forgot to make my wife's food. Kayla quickly let the kitchen cooks know they forgot her food and within 10 mins she had her raw chicken strips delivered to the table. I alerted Kayla and she let her management know that we just wanted a refund. After a few minutes "Jen" the manager/partial owner asked how our food was I let her know of the situation and she said that the chicken was just fine she tried it herself when it got returned to the kitchen and when I asked her to bring the raw chicken back to the table so we could inspect it together she returned from the kitchen to tell me that her employees had eaten the raw chicken stips. The management is not professional whatsoever the food that we had was mediocre and over priced not to mention the raw chicken. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ask for Jordan when you eat here!! Big wow! He gave amazing service, ALL the things you look for and want in a server! Attentive, prompt, always a smile, genuine, friendly, relaxed, confident, and very knowledgeable. Then there was the food! Another big wow! My husband and I visited here on Nov 4th, 2022, and had the all you can eat snow crab legs in a bag. The Boom was the best, but the "fire" seasoning was "burning my lips" hot, so go for the medium on that. To our surprise, the "all you can eat" included anything on the menu, except king crab and lobster of course. There is a limit on the number of pounds for each person on the snow crab legs, but it was plenty!! Jordan was always nearby when we wanted something else to try off the menu! We loved the atmosphere here too. It was family friendly, but quiet enough to enjoy the meal without loud distractions. The greeter at the door was a friendly lady who was glad to see us come in. We felt so welcome here and would come here again for sure! We have already recommended Cajun Crab, and Jordan, to many others along our travels in the Florida Panhandle all the way back to Arlington, Texas. So, I am guessing that Jen the owner/GM deleted my review off of Google somehow. Because it's no longer there, but this business is poorly managed and the experience I had there was very unpleasant to say the least. First we ordered food after having to wait on a server for over 20 minutes. The server was nice and apologetic but there seems to be no organization at this restaurant whatsoever. The business never opens on time there were people waiting at the door one time I tried to attempt to go there at lunch. But we went on a Saturday night it was somewhat crowded but the seafood that they were serving was very old and seem to be re-cooked a couple times if not a few. This is not a place you want to go to if you want fresh seafood. It seems to be run by a bunch of Asians. Jen I hope your restaurant does good but we won't be back, and we've made sure to tell the community never to go there because my wife and I had the worst experience ever. Good luck with your restaurant, you won't last long. Nothing authentic or Cajun about this restaurant. Won't give refunds will just offer you a gift card. We won't be back.
