While I had his attention I ordered my meal. After all, I had plenty of time to look at the menu. Then the 2nd round of invisibility started. I finished my beer and was ready for another. I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. About an additional 15 minutes. I finally caught the attention of the other bartender and ordered a 2nd beer that was never brought to me. Finally, the first guy came back, so I ordered it from him. As he was bringing it to me, I heard him tell one of the young servers, "Make sure it's medium rare". Wait, what?! That's my burger order! You're just now putting it in? WTF? Invisible indeed! Another 15 minutes went by before my burger and "frings" (fries and onion rings) arrived. I realize that the guy was keeping busy with the walk-up customers, but I was right there! Sitting right in front of him! I finished half of the burger and had a lot of rings and fries leftover and needed a to-go box. Good gawd! More waiting ensued. I finally caught a young woman as she was leaving the kitchen area and asked her for a box which she grabbed for me. Trying to get the bartender's attention for the check ended up being yet another exercise in futility. At least the burger was good (really good in fact), the fries too, the only redeeming quality of my visit. The onion rings? Meh. Straight from a bag of frozen.

He hosted a staff huddle with all the dealers, kept the dealers updated so that everything stayed on schedule, and if there was any tension or spills in the crowd he notified me immediately so that his floor of guests were 100% happy. Sharing The Indigenous Culture…read more Every year towards the end of August, Pala, California is home to a Native American tribe, which would be Pala Band of Mission Indians. Every year they host a Pow Wow that is sponsored by the Pala casino and its community. Everyone around Indian country come and get involve with the weekend event. It's one of many Pow Wows that well known native people in Indian country come and show their amazing talents in dancing and singing. Pow wows are always an amazing thing to experience. A pow wow is one of the many ways where people in different tribes can come together as one big family and relate with one another and share their stories or experiences around the country. The main event is the best thing to ever experience in life because it shows all the different types of outfits and dance styles that go with it. I always enjoy watching the different dances, especially the fast ones. The different styles are based on gender, with the female styles are Northern and Southern traditional, jingle dress, and fancy shawl. The male category would be Northern traditional, Southern straight, Chicken dancers, Grass dancers, and Fancy dancers. Two of the most exciting thing to see when at a Pow Wow is seeing the dancers show off their moves but also their colorful outfits. My favorite dances to see is Fancy Shawl, Fancy, and Grass; they are the dances that get me on the edge of my seat because you never know what could happen when they start to dance but when they know the beat is about to go faster, when that comes up something amazing is about to happen. The food at a Pow Wow are not common foods. It's not really traditional but it's the kind of food we usually eat and make. The most common food that is popular there is Frybread. Frybread is this delicious special made dough by hand, and fried to golden perfection. It's mostly used to make different kinds of meals like beans and cheese, red chili, mutton, and even sometimes hamburgers. The most popular meal that people often get is an Indian Taco which made with a Frybread topped with beans, ground beef, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and hot sauce. I really enjoy eating this but not all the time. For dessert it's fairly simple but overall sweet because it is basically a Frybread topped with powdered sugar and honey. There are basic American food that is sold at Pow Wows but that is the common food everyone eats.

Wow! What a great classic car museum. Admission is free and located in the Menifee area inside a…read moreginormous old barn. The variety of cars, over a couple dozen from the early 1900s to 1960s, were beautiful to behold. A 1960 Ford Thuderbird, 1951 Studebaker Commander, 1931 Cadillac, and 1931 Ford Victoria are samples of what you will see there, all stunningly restored. Placards at each car give detailed information about the vehicles. The museum also has historical information about the Motte family and the local area. If you come on a hot day as I did, you'll appreciate the air conditioning. The staff here are exceptionally kind and welcoming; Tommie, the museum director, was especially warm and sparkly. The building can be rented as an event center and is often used as a site for weddings. At the time of this writing there are expansion plans to display more cars in a separate building, but as is, this is one of my favorite classic car museums.

They really helped us in tailoring to our interest. We were able to pick out plushies, and they also gave us option of providing capsules so we can put in lotto scratchers! Our guest couldn't stop talking about the claw machines. The children, cousins, uncles, and aunties all had a blast! During the wedding, their staff was very helpful and making sure machines were working properly and they would turn them off during speeches and important moments in our wedding. Our guest were very pleased with the staff as they would assist in resetting or helping the guest get certain plushies in the claw machine. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to add more fun to their events!
