And a special shout-out to Tracey at the front desk. She is the best! So friendly, organized, and welcoming. She really makes the whole visit smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this office!

I called back to clarify coverage, and she scheduled an appointment for my husband. I then had to remind her that the appointment was for both of us before she added me. We have kids and had to arrange childcare, including having a family member take time off work, so getting to this appointment took real effort. When we arrived, she reviewed our insurance card and immediately questioned our deductible, saying she was going to charge us and that we needed to know our deductible for future visits. When we suggested calling the insurance company, my husband did so and confirmed that our chiropractic care is covered at 100% with no deductible. Instead of handling this professionally, she appeared surprised and said she had "never heard of that," and that "she's been around a long time", followed by, "It'd be nice if they paid me back at 100%," in a sarcastic and rude tone. She then asked where my husband works and made comments implying that he must be "high up" to have good insurance. This felt inappropriate and judgmental. She then proceeded by saying that he must have been in the right place at the right time. Immediately, we felt offended. When we explained that it comes from hard work, not luck, the interaction became even more uncomfortable. The overall experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and made us feel unwelcome. We did not feel respected as patients. After everything, we chose to leave without receiving care. It's unfortunate that we weren't able to experience the doctor's adjustments due to how Tracy spoke to us. I'm not sure why our experience was so different from how this office is portrayed in other reviews. Tracy was NOT helpful, and by the time we left, we felt more tense than when we arrived. Between the scheduling issues, misinformation about insurance, and disrespectful comments, this was not an environment we were comfortable in. We do not recommend this office based on our experience.

Dr. Mountford is different from most other chiropractors that I had seen previously in that he truly cares about the overall health of his patients. He addresses all of your complaints, and then presses a little more to inquire about your overall health and well-being, offering constructive advice and moral support as needed. He also has the tenacity of a Jack Russell terrier, and I mean that in the best possible way. I have been considered something of a challenge because of my condition. When I first met him, instead of shying away from my issue, he latched onto it determined to resolve it. He did research on his own, and developed a set of techniques that proved to be a tremendous relief for me. I credit him with saving my job, and giving me back my life. My condition isn't curable, but with his help, I am able to function at an almost normal level. In addition, he resolved a long standing mystery that had plagued me for years. I had intermittent severe pelvic pain. I'd had all kinds of medical tests and even surgeries to resolve the pain, to no avail. Dr. Mountford did a pelvic adjustment, which is not nearly as weird as it sounds, and I have been completely pain free ever since. I had also been diagnosed with a separation of articular cartilage (pulled rib cage) and was told nothing could be done. Don't ever say that around Dr. Evan. Or do, because I did and he fixed it. Dr. Mountford is constantly updating and perfecting his knowledge and skills, in order to provide the best care to his patients. His dedication to the health of others is commendable and admirable, and I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend him for any and all of your chiropractic needs.

I had limited range of motion and my pain level was a good 9. Today, Dr. Angelo adjusted me SO good that I'm still saying "wow" 5 hours later! Right after I had the complimentary shock wave therapy and now my pain level is at a 2. The amount of stretches and movements I made to help ease the pain - I thought this pain would never go away, so I wanted to say thank you for fixing me today!

I signed up…read morefor a 4-month chiropractic program at New Life Chiropractic, trusting the process would get to the root of my chronic shoulder and nerve issues. Unfortunately, it didn't -- and may have even made things worse. What I later found out is that New Life Chiropractic does not specialize in the C1/C2 region of the spine (also known as the atlas). This area is critical when dealing with certain neurological or postural issues -- and if it's out of alignment, traditional neck adjustments may not help, or worse, could aggravate the problem. I also want to add a correction: after seeing a different chiropractor, I discovered that my issues were actually stemming from the C7 area of my cervical spine -- not the atlas. I apologize for the confusion in my earlier assessment. That said, this should have been something within the scope of knowledge that New Life failed to identify entirely. Why did they overlook something so basic? My personal hypothesis is that they simply don't know enough about chiropractic care to be working on people's bodies. For four months, I let them perform regular neck adjustments under the assumption they were following the right treatment path. In hindsight, my core issue was never addressed -- and I now have to explore other options outside of New Life. Don't have people blindly sign up for months of treatment without even knowing enough to help them. Ripping people off for mediocre, one-size-fits-all care is unjust. To be clear -- I'm not saying this place can't help anyone. For some, especially those with general spinal tension or postural concerns, it might work fine. But if you're dealing with anything more complex -- particularly nerve-related symptoms -- do your research before committing. Chiropractic care should be personalized. Don't blindly follow a care plan without fully understanding what your body truly needs -- or you risk wasting your time, money, and potentially making your condition worse. I unfortunately learned that lesson the hard way.
