I asked him if he had a business card as I was from New Jersey and had just bought a house in Clermont Florida and may need some work done. The gentleman turned out to be Juan Velez. I needed blinds installed (13) and I had just set up a date with Lowe's to have someone come and measure for installation. Unfortunately the contractor from Lowe's soonest appointment was in a week and a half they would measure and then set up a date later for the installation. I was pressed for time and needed to return to New Jersey in a few days. When I found out the Lowe's contractor could not come earlier I contacted Juan the day after I met him. I told Juan what I needed and he set up an appointment to come measure the windows the next day as he was working in the area. Long story short, Handyman complete services measured and installed all the blinds a couple of days before the other contractor could come out to just measure the windows. Handyman needed some other materials and charged them to their account and provided me with a receipt. I was blown away by the professionalism and quality of work done in a very short period of time and would not hesitate to recommend them. I have Juan's number in my phone and will use them for any future projects or services I need.

We wait until Sunday afternoon to walk on the deck and look at the final product, for our surprise the concrete on the drain was all cracked and collapsing, there were cracks on different areas of the deck and the paint was all uneven around the pool, we called Connors to come and check the situation, he came couple of days later and promise that this time he will do the drain different way and the right way, and he will be painting around the pool and fix the cracks. He installed a drain net on top of the ditch but multiple pieces attached unevenly to each other, the ditch is to big for the net, there's cracks still on the deck areas, we called him and again he offer to send back $1,050.00 for the drain A company is charging us $2,250.00 to fix this mess. On the last day of the work this dejean character calls me to tell me that we can start working again in a month and then after a bit the said that you never want to do the work on weekends. I wonder if I work for them or they work for me, but the way they work, not impressed. Anyway he said the weekends are better for us and so I said ok, I can be flexible. To that dejean said we need to go our separate ways, Please find someone else and I said OK. But he did say that they are installing granite countertops in the Villages. That is how little they value thier customers. Oh and never pay them anything up front, never, never! When the work is all done, and done correctly, then pay. They were trying to scam me. They kept trying billing me for the rest of the money BEFORE the work was done. I said, when the work is done. In fact I should not have even paid the $250. I can imagine if I had paid them the remaining $360 before they finished. I bet they would have bailed too and stolen the $360. Oh and they left a mess too. dejean wanted to dump some left over paint on the ground! I said no, it needs to be disposed of properly. He said that everyone does this.
