While the water damage crew (a seperate company) did a great job, CSL has been a headache for the past 3+ months. A project, initially slated to be 2-4 weeks took over 3 months. Workers regularly showed up at 10:30 am to leave by 2pm. So I believe this project could have been finished in that time frame, if people actually showed up. The first image I use to show the date of July 17th, already well into their construction as you can see drywall put back up. Today, September 14, the project was "ended," not necessarily finished, but we gave up with CSL's standards. Along with having third party companies do their work (CSL denies this, but the employees themselves gave me their business cards and told them to call "the real workers" for our next project), we only spoke to our project manager when we had serious issues, when we were told he would show up every 2-3 days. NOT ALL NEGATIVE -- I will say, the hardwood flooring installation was done really well. We requested the floor colors and plank length to be mixed around to make it appear random and they did a really good job at that. * It makes me believe that we were given a team that is focused on floors but can "also kind of" do baseboard. * I will also state that our rebuilt bench is really well done. But, I have to note that Project Manager Hunter himself said that the team of two working on it didn't work under CSL and were hired out. I am disappointed in poor communication, sloppy finishing work and the slow speed. I gave a 2 star, instead of 1, because of the nice looking floor and bench installation. And 1 star (to me) would mean they didn't get the project to a livable level.

My daughter recently purchased a house in the Orlando area with numerous problems--including a…read morefailing roof. Being the fiercely protective mom I am, I committed to finding her a good roofer. Investing so much money was anxiety inducing, particularly after reading horror stories about botched jobs and unscrupulous roofers, but I was determined to make a well-informed decision. I spent two months studying roofs, learning about types of materials and construction, reading articles and blogs, and making phone calls--lots of phone calls. I called an engineer. I called the county building department. I called friends. And I called about a dozen roofing companies in the Orlando area (I could probably write an essay about the nonsense I heard from some of these companies). I listened carefully and researched their responses. I read reviews and I read every line in the contracts sent to me by about half of them. I was relentless because this was my kid I was protecting. Happily, my diligence paid off and my daughter now has a quality roof and sparkling new gutters. Robert Bonesteel at Sheegog Contracting was the project manager I worked with. He spent MONTHS speaking with me. I can honestly say that no one has ever worked harder for my business. Through it all, Robert was extremely kind and never once made me feel that my questions were stupid. He explained things clearly and sometimes took over an hour to clarify something. He never pressured me and encouraged me to read and investigate other companies, which I absolutely did.  Sheegog didn't just slap on a roof. They used GAF Timberline HDZ premium shingles. They repaired decking under the leak and addressed other minor issues. The work site was spotless when they left, but Robert wasn't satisfied. He came out with a magnetic detector and scoured the area for stray nails. He answered my questions and pointed out repairs. He sent a wind mitigation expert. I'm immensely grateful for Robert's kindness and his company's excellent work. Several of my neighbors are interested in having their roofs redone by Sheegog.  To Robert and the team at Sheegog: thank you. You guys rock!

I noticed an issue with the roof and contacted them on September 1st to get it looked at. It has been two weeks now, and no one has showed up or followed through to check on the problem. The roof work itself was fine, but do not expect reliable customer service if an issue pops up later. Let me save you the trouble of doing all that research - Phil White Painting is highly experienced. They are perfectionists, excellent communicators, organize the job very well, and go the extra mile to please the customer. They know their paint and made recommendations about product level and brand that in their experience, works best in the central Florida climate. Attention to detail is everything in painting. For example, they did a superb job navigating the line between the stucco soffits (dark brown) and the body color (creamy white) - the stucco texture on both surface required extra focus and precision, and the line is perfect all the way around the house. They also did, at no extra charge, some selected stucco patching to hide a previous repair line and minor flaws, and used two, and in some spots, three coats of paint to ensure a seamless, flawless finish. Throughout the job, they communicated frequently, confirmed our wishes, and the entire crew was friendly and helpful. We did a complete walkthrough upon completion, and we were extremely happy with the finished result! Let me not forget to mention that the price was fair and reasonable. Job wa done in Feb, and now, over the last 2 weeks, the floor is seperating, and sagging to the point that my mom, who just had a major surgery last month, cannot sleep in her bed, as the floor has sunken so far down through the floor joists, that she will fall through if she tries! The estimate said he would inspect and repair any subfloor issues with their apprival, but never bothered! The floor is now popping up, sagging and is dangerous to the point that it is unlivable! He ripped off the elderly, and even though he shows a 1 year warranty on his website, he refuses to even come look at it, and swore at me when i called him, as it is none of my business what he did to my 76 year old parents!!!

Stratus Roofing was the company that took the time to understand our needs and answered all of our questions. Great roofing company. Sergio Pichardo was the primarily professional we dealt with. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and honest not like some other roofing companies with many 5 stars reviews on Yelp. He provided us with the lowest price. So we decided to go with Stratus Roofing. We glad we made right choice and are very happy Stratus Roofing's work. The whole process went super smooth from contract sign to permits application to roof installation to final pass the city inspection since Sergio had us covered. Sergio is always available whenever we have questions during the process by phone or text. The company did a great job of an entire removal of old roof and replacement with GAF ROOFING SYSTEM. PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING: A few months ago we contracted Dwain and his company to take on a very…read more"easy" bathroom (his words, not mine) renovation that according to him would only take 3-4 days. Almost 3 weeks later and after never arriving on time ONCE to start at the time they mentioned, they finally "finish" one of the laziest jobs I ever seen a contractor do. During the time, we were instructed that the showers were good to be used but instead that caused house leaks that caused my 1 year old rooms to be flooded while she slept at 2am... multiple times. They came out to fix the issue, but again... used the wrong adhesives to connect the PVC and a few weeks later, we had another flood in the house. They never closed the holes done in the wall, they subcontracted some random dudes, and NOT ONCE showed on time. They deflect fault by hiring others, and when they realize the job is bad, they bad mouth contractors. BE CAREFUL WITH HIS CHEAP QUOTES: After the job was completed we've had to pay thousands of dollars to replace/redo the cheap work completed by Carbon Acquisition Group, Dwain and his SUBCONTRACTED WORKERS. These are not his employees he uses, he hired cheap labor and when things go belly up, he blames on bad contractors HE HIRED. The contractors reached out to me to complain he underpays them, or doesn't pay them at all. After having other professionals at home within their area of expertise (ex. plumbers), they've had nothing but scary things to say about the job completed by CAG. When they did our showers, multiple professionals AND friends have all communicated how many important components were missing from the shower. He even complained about the tiles that we bought were too small (they were normal bathroom tile).... this is when I should've picked up on his lazy/cheap tendencies and backed out. So far we've had over 3 leaks (2 shower, 1 toilet) and 6 contractors who specialize in their area to fix this lazy company's errors. If I could back and hire someone twice as expensive to receive a better quality job finish, I would do it in a heartbeat. Do not hire this company unless it's basic handyman work, and even then I would beware. If I could give a negative score, I would.
