This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! As tourists, it's always a gamble finding a nice place to eat in the heart of the tourist zone of any European town. We ordered from the daily menu and some from "la carte". We didn't expect the quality of the food we were served, especially since we were ordering outside "standard" French meal time. Everything was delicious! I ordered the grilled sardines with ratatouille and roasted potatoes and I know will be craving the sardines! The other mains were equally delicious: pan seared duck breast, lasagna and linguini carbonara. The pasta was the most surprising: I had even mentioned to my dinner partners that maybe choosing pasta was not the best considering we were not in an Italian restaurant. In a nutshell, all our meals were great and the server extremely pleasant. Since everything was so good, we splurged on dessert and that was also a delicious surprise! If this place was in my hometown, I would certainly return without hesitation. Happy tourists! read more
