And when I say twice, that's at least 2-4 times to Barra D' Cafe each visit to Ensenada. Pour over in the morning and sometimes also pour over or latte in the afternoon. I don't normally drink so much coffee, but...get the good stuff while I can. I've tried everything on their coffee and food menu. It has never disappointed. Still one of my top 3 favorite pour overs anywhere (that's including Tokyo), for every reason...flavor, value, vibe, and staff. They've recently shared some sad news about the loss of a (staff member?). With everyone being so wonderful there, it really is a tragedy. My heart goes out to them.

The only draw back was I wanted my drink cold, they made it hot, and it came out to $13 (for two churros and two small coffees). I gave a $20 and they said they didn't have dollars for change. I even tried to ask if they can throw in another filled churro and they said they can't do it. They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change. Today this place is a Ceviche shop and the old cafe bar was moved upstairs and is no longer active. I've been down a dozen or so times in the past year and have yet to see Memo around.
