The restaurant itself is broken into 3 areas (a walk up counter, a casual area, and the more formal dining room). It was warm when we went and we were burning up by the time we left, but the drinks were quite good and so was our server. The hubby and I shared a couple of pastries with the savory scone and kouign amann being our favorites. Their dishes look very good, on the smaller side, and meant to be shared.

Very cute café, as well. Looks like a great place to work. Highly recommend the tourn'oeuf (breakfast sandwich). Excellent combo of flavors. This was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The breakfast platter was very good as well, a sampler of flavorful things. Although we decided the baguette was not the best we've ever had. Gave this platter an A-. We also got the sandwich au jambon which was good, but could've been better with better flavor combos. Still great quality. Loved the ham here. Also highly recommend the chai latte.

The service was also good, the guy at the cash was alone but he was fast and efficient.

Every location I went to was full but the line goes by quickly. This specific location is in old Montreal so if you're doing sightseeing it's a great spot to chill. The cafe crema is insane. The texture and flavor of this is something I've never had before. The coffee flavor is strong but not offensively strong. Even if you're not a fan of coffee I'd still suggest you try it. The affogato was lovely with the espresso and gelato mixing it creates that lovely icy texture on the outside. It is more pricey so I'd say the safe crema is the way to go.

Even at that ungodly hour, there were already two locals and a dog chatting with the patron--always a good sign of a neighborhood favorite. Can't complain at all. I liked that they had different items out on display that looked fresh. The menu was in French, but one of the women working there noticed we might need help and asked us what we were looking for. So friendly! She also helped us figure out what was gluten-free / gluten-friendly. We ordered a gluten-free avocado toast with an egg sunny side up (pretty solid) a ham and cheese croissant (they pressed it so it was dense and it was perfect) , and we had originally brought our own coffee in to-go cups, but they transferred it into mugs for us when we stayed. I was worried about an extra charge for doing that, but there was none, which was a nice touch. A couple notes: - They take credit cards - Wi-Fi is available - One weird/practical thing: you can't use a laptop until 3 PM so I wouldn't really come here in the morning if I needed somewhere to work. - They seem to be known for their crêpes, although we didn't try one, so I might come back! The total came out to $19.83 CAD. The tables weren't very clean, but overall, a nice experience and glad that the ambience was quiet and welcoming for the morning.

The lavender latte was delicious and if it didnt already have two shots of espresso, I would have gotten another one. Both the matcha latte and matcha lemonade were made with premium ceremonial grade matcha. We watched them prepare the matcha with a whisk, and they definitely didn't cheap out on the matcha. The croissant was a reasonable price (~$3) and it was flaky and airy. The overall vibe is 10/10 with both seating indoor and outdoor. They have four individual seats available with side tables, four tables for groups, and a long co-working table for up to 10 people. Spacious with a good amount of seating!
