Love-Love-Love this place!…read more I was geeked to go here because for one I was on vacation on a beautiful island with my beautiful woman and two they were right down the street from where we were staying. Upon entering you are welcomed by a set of stairs that lead you to an open floor plan that is decorated simple yet somewhat of a beach theme. There wasn't any employees anywhere to be seen except the patrons enjoying themselves so we were somewhat confused on what to do so we walked over to the register and were greeted by a gentleman from the back. He said we could sit anywhere we'd like and he'd come and explain how things work. He explained to us that they use a wristband and the taps have a sensor and we scan our wristband and it measures how much we get each time and we are billed by the ounces we pour; what a great concept. We enjoyed many of their beers, each one just as great as the last. My personal favorite was the peanut butter porter, delish! The ordering for the food is by QR code which I hate, but it is what it is. I feel like if you're paying for food and giving a tip you should at least bare minimum have someone taking your order and tending to your needs. We ordered: Fish tacos 5/5 Croquettes 5/5 The one employee who was working was kind and courteous and great, so we left him a nice tip on our beer and food, which were separate bills. We will see you again the next time we are on the island. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks again :)

We took a moment to decide whether to get a bottle or just go by the glass. We ordered boquerones and asked about the croquetas, including the price of an off-menu assortment. The waiter said he did not know the price and would have to place the order to find out. He then said he would give us a few minutes to decide. When he returned he was all worked up, and told us that we were "in the wrong restaurant" and that if we found the wine or food too expensive, this was not the place for us. We had not commented on pricing--only asked standard questions. He then said he would not serve us. A different server took over and was professional and helpful. We ended up ordering a bottle of red wine, croquetas, and several tapas. Unfortunately, the initial interaction significantly affected the experience. Asking about prices and menu options should not result in being dismissed. Also, the chorizo al vino was disappointing.

There are three restaurants that have a few outdoor tables to watch folks come and go. It's the third one down a rather severe sloped, romantic tree-lined cobblestone street to where a thick entrance through a fortified wall with historic sentry placements that guard the estuary at sunset. The small blue-tiled bar greets you into an intimate cavern with little rickety tables and curved whitewashed brick walls. Great cocktails with beers, sangria, and a signature pina cojito. Croquettes, chorizo, fried potatoes, ham, cheese, ceviche all come on shared plates. Everything is made to order and hot, so be patient. They do lots of paella to order. The paella mariscos was great and rice was perfect, fresh, moist and seasoned. Service is welcoming and quick. Can fill up quickly and sound loud like a busy Chinese restaurant in Spanish.
