Cafe Aroma was conveniently located super close to our vacation rental. The service was really good. We immediately felt welcomed. I got the pastrami Reuben, which was absolutely delicious. The coffee was just okay, but the donuts were top notch. Red velvet & blueberry were my faves!

Happy Valentine's Day from @cafearomainlet and @charliesdonuts30a at Inlet Beach, Florida

Visited Cafe Aroma last year when it was still under construction and looked forward to visiting during our trip to PCB this year. I was not disappointed! I decided to visit on Valentine's Day this year to see if they had anything special. I purchased this glazed raised donut with red candied sprinkles and icing on top as their Valentine donut and it was amazing. The topping was very sweet and the donut was very rich and robust - similar to brioche. I also purchased a apple-filled bear claw which was truly in the form of a long bear claw and was a large sized donut. It reminded me of apple pie and was delicious. I also learned that this is part of the Charlie's 30A donut chain as they expand to begin a coffee shop serving donuts. Excellent donuts wherever you buy them from Charlie's and highly recommend this spot when visiting PCB.

BAD

honestly this was the worst coffee shop I have been to...would not recommend. wayyyyy overpriced for the portions. we got breakfast bowls with "eggs and bacon" pshh yeah right. they sprinkled bacon bits on top and put like 1/2 an egg on it. also, they got my coffee order way wrong. not to mention the customer service was terrible. every one of the workers had a bad attitude. the overall vibe of this place sucked. would only recommend if you enjoy overpaying for crappy service and toddler portions.

Cold avocado toast, slow service, bland breakfast bowl. Chicken salad was alright. Not a place we'll add to our "must visit" list

I stopped by to order a quick coffee to walk around with over Thanksgiving break. It's not just coffee and food inside, but a full bar and convenience store with fun beach snacks. It reminded me a bit of Disney World, it all almost feels fake, like it's part of a larger show. The decor is beautiful, of course, and a welcome splash of color amongst the all-white Alys Beach architecture. One thing my aunties pointed out is that the items in the convenience store did not have labeled prices. They asked the women at the counter about it and she replied, "we just don't do that here." This did not sit right with my aunties, and they expressed that they wouldn't buy something from somewhere that wasn't upfront about prices. I must agree, and if I was the clerk, I might have just offered to price check what they wanted instead. My coffee was good. I recognize we're on beach time, but it did seem to take a while to be ready. All in all, though, this is a beautiful place. Worth seeing.

My husband, our baby, and I went to this restaurant for coffee and breakfast. I ordered an iced…read morecoffee, assuming it would come with ice. When our food arrived, my husband asked for a cup of ice, and the woman replied, "It's $1.00 for that." She walked away, and my husband commented to me, "Dang, they must be hard up if they're charging for ice when we already paid for an iced coffee--but no problem." He went up to pay for the ice, but was then told, "You have to have a $2 minimum order, so it's going to be $2 for the ice." He had just spent $30 on our meal, so he calmly / playfully said, "It seems a little f*ing ridiculous to pay for a cup of ice when I just spent $30." He said the f-word once--not directed at anyone--and that's when the owner's daughter responded, "You just used the f-word. I'm not giving you the ice." My husband said, "Are you kidding me? I'm trying to pay for the ice--just let me pay." She refused, repeatedly told us to leave, and then came to our table throwing to-go boxes at me while saying she was calling security, which she did. We sat on a nearby bench & a passerby approached and told us that the restaurant had made inappropriate comments about my husband being Jewish - he was wearing a Star of David necklace. That's when we decided to leave and walk around the nearby shops. As we were walking, a man suddenly stepped in front of me, causing my stroller to almost bump him. I apologized, but he started motioning to someone. Moments later, the owner's daughter, Brooke, got off of a golf cart, blocked us on the sidewalk, and started taking photos of me, my husband, and our baby - saying "smileeeee!!!!" She and others then began following us around the shops. We eventually left the area and I called the sheriff to report what happened, especially the photos being taken of our baby. The sheriff immediately knew who I was talking about - they even described her perfectly and said multiple people have called about this same type of behavior from this establishment. No one cussed anyone out. My husband used the f-word once - out of frustration over being charged for ice - but never directed it at her or anyone else. Brooke Spicer, you know my husband didn't "cuss you out." If fabricating a story makes you feel better or helps defend your family's restaurant, that's on you. It's telling that when we later met a family who knew your business personally, they said your treatment of customers is deplorable. And just look at your one-star reviews- we're clearly not the only ones who've experienced this same unacceptable behavior from you. Your mom was kind, but you girl... you are going to ruin your family's business for them if you don't calm down and stop acting out.

Order at the counter, get a buzzer, and pick your food up at a counter. Open seating, serve yourself water, very casual. The price does not reflect that. I opted for the spring omelette which comes with eggs, cheese, Boursin cheese, and mushrooms, with a side of potatoes and ketchup. I asked if instead of mushrooms I could just get some extra broccoli. I got charged extra for a "side of broccoli" which I'm certain was not reflected in how much they added to my omelette as I mostly just tasted green onions. I got extremely minimal notes of Boursin cheese, I'm not sure how much if any was deliberately added to the dish. With tax and a small tip due to it not being a restaurant where I was actually getting served, it came out to $27. Absolute highway robbery. Food was fine but nothing memorable, and extremely overpriced.
