i stopped by for a quick bite becasue it's right by the big fountain and i was in the city center. the best of this place is the convenient location but the food is really nothing to mention. the service was bit slow as well. i had the risotto with truffle, the risotto taste a bit under cooked and dry . it does have a good truflle flavor with shaved black truffle on top. its a tourist place , i would not recommend if you want a good meal. read more

This 2 rating is only this high because of the fantastic location and direction facing when eating. Otherwise, SKIP THIS RESTAURANT! the food was overly salty, the calamari fritti was way over fried and not tasty. The pasta cooked right but the bolognese left a lot to be desired. This has tourist trap written all over it and my wife fell for it... even the service was not great. Hate leaving any negative reviews... however, this is pragmatic and real... not negative. For a place that's perpetually busy especially during festival time the food is good, prices a bit high for the not so attentive slow service. The location is perfect for meetings and hanging out as it's across from festival market. The Bloody Mary needed more alcohol and was more tomato juice and Tabasco. But the pizzas were amazing. One of us is vegan and they were able to prepare it as requested. Will be back probably as it's open late and it's a great spot to go to after the fun. read more

Came here with a female on May 18, 2023 at night. It was chilly so I asked the waiter if he could seat us closer to the inside. He said no and sat us at the far outside. When it was time to pay the bill, the same waiter stood over me for 2-3 minutes insisting I give him a 15% tip. I was told that gratuity is already included in French restaurants so mentioned this. He kept insisting I give him a tip. I told him I'd gladly give him a tip had he sat us where it was warmer instead of scuffing us off and walking away. The guy pretended to not understand and kept on insisting I give him a tip. It was uncomfortable. The entries were simply a fish and side of potatoes. Very boring plain food. I'll return to Cannes next year but avoiding this place. Its like a comical attitude form a movie where the American goes to France and deals with a French waiter. read more

The place is OK, is not luxury, and the food does't impress you but is bot bad either, prices are OK and the location is great, you are right near the port, you can see the yachts from the table, and also the building where they keep the Cannes Movie Festival. So it is a niice place among others here in Cannes. read more

Wow!! I had the dish of the day which was a red mullet pie and a melon salad and it was amazing. There was not one element of the dish that I'd change. The pastry and fish were cooked to perfection. The salad fresh, light and inspiring. Service was also faultless. Unlike many European cities the waiter was always attentive. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is the lack of wifi (but I guess that says more about me than restaurant than me!). I'd defiantly recommend, and if the dish of the day so happens to be the red mullet pie, order it! read more

The buzz in the place makes you feel sure that something is happening. It's got seating indoor and outdoor (covered, of course), and has an enviable position along the Croisette. It's as good for coffee as it is for late-night drinks, and well-positioned for people watching. Surprisingly for such a popular spot the service here seems a better and more personable than average. read more

This is the to-go place for the film crowd at the Cannes Film Festival; simply because is right across the street. But that's about it. The food is very overpriced (even compared to other places around), and not good. Not even a coffee tastes good here. But it's true that if you want to meet with someone at this crowded festival with thousands of people from all around the world, you better do it at a place across the street with huge signs that can be easily read and understood in several languages, so nobody gets lost. The only other good thing is it's outside seating, but that's kind of normal in Cannes. read more
