Always bustling comfortably, the area has a great energy. Briki has added to it -- opening recently and providing a nice balance between the chains (Nero, etc) and Caravan at the other end of the street. I enjoyed a perfectly lovely flat white and a frittata with side salad. It's counter service with all the offerings laid out very nicely and in abundance. We were through the line swiftly, paid and took our seats, our food arrived within minutes. Just as a proper cafe lunch should be. The server brought the flight to me, and was so knowledgeable around each part of the flight, how the coffee was brewed and even the coffee origin! It was very good, though I wish there was more yogurt in the yogurt:granola ratio. The pastries are all on display at the front, and we had a few that were both delicious. I popped in every morning and the staff were always super friendly in a genuine way. One of them even walked around the counter to hand me my coffee when I was rushing with hands full while paying. Brunch dish (Native Mushrooms) was not bad but small, expensive and nothing to write home about. I'd only come back again for the chai latte (which I have btw!)
