Quaint Italian coffee shop, with outdoor tables, inside seating. Decent menu for Italian coffee drinks and served with a baked in-house biscotti. Friendly service, limited pastries and the only reason for the 3 stars. Was the beverages were not hot enough. Latte was not steamy, i think they just frothed the mil rather than steaming it. The Americano was warm. Nice fragrant and tasty coffee beans!

Caffe Latte is a very cute and inviting little cafe in Dobbs Ferry. It was a welcomed oasis after a rum with my girlfriends on the Old Aqueduct Trail. They offer small sandwiches, hot and cold water beverages, gelato and some cozy seating inside as well as a few chairs and table outside the establishment. My friend and I both order the Iced Chai which was very tasty. The gentleman that helped us was very sweet and he gives every customer a mini biscotti with their order. This isn't your run-of-the-mill NYC coffee shop so don't rush in here expecting to get in and out quickly. Enjoy the calmness and pleasantries when you visit.

I went on a late Sunday afternoon for a post giant lunch for coffee and sweets. It wasn't crowded and the lone woman working the counter was friendly and efficient. My friend got a cappuccino and I got a mocha. We shared a crostata di Frutta. It was tasty without being overly sweet. The coffee was rich and had a perfect temperature.

    Also: Dobbs Ferry is gorgeous.

Tucked along the Hudson River, Dobbs Ferry is one of the Hudson Valley's prettiest towns, so it's only fitting that it's the site of a local gem. Owner Basilio Colaizzi whips up cappuccinos and yes, lattes, with a complimentary piece of biscotti and a whole lot of heart. If you like your drink made w/a precise number of shots a la Starbucks or have less than 10 minutes to spare, skip this place and try well, Starbucks. Cafelatte is a place to relax. The ambiance is 1960s Italy--there's even a Vespa poster on the wall. The only negative is that the place can be a bit dirty. On my first visit, my table still had some crumbs on it after Basilio wiped it. There were also remnants of a dead plant by the window. But nothing severe enough to take away from an excellent chai latte. Prices are reasonable--just remember, cash only!

My daughter Sierra & I just discovered Caffelatte & it's perfect cappuccino! The cappuccino is made with the best espresso beans, milk steamed to perfection & cinnamon just right by the owner Basilio. It's like a bit of Italy to be here in Dobbs Ferry. And you get a small biscotti carefully placed with love from Basilio put on a napkin included with our cappuccino to go. So great to have yummy cappuccino and to support a long-standing local business. It's cash only so be prepared before arriving. Delicious & delightful! Thank you Basilio-owner & cappuccino expert (friendly & funny too)! And cute table & chairs outside.

Wonderful old world style cafe. The owner is a charming man who plays opera music. Excellent place to rest and slow down. Best latte in Westchester!

If you want all the choices of a chain coffee shop, don't go here. If you enjoy the taste of great espresso without frills, you have to try this place! The man behind the counter loves the connection with people. If you're open to it, he will be kind, friendly, and likely want to try to chat for a bit. The ambiance in the store reminds me of European cafes with an open feel, comfortable seating, and relaxed atmosphere. I could tell that he is well-liked and respected by many of the regulars, who enjoy speaking with him in Italian! I've only had the espresso drinks. It is a cash only establishment. At the time of this post, I have only been twice, but I really enjoyed both visits.

I loved this place being 100% Italian. The owner is very nice and funny and I felt at home. The croissants were delicious as well as the cappuccino and the espresso. Will definitely go back soon for another real Italian breakfast.

    Latte with strong chocolate note.

What a difference in design from the previous Brrzaar café in this same spot years ago. The color on all the walls adds a minimalist+chic feel but keeps the clean look that only a white paint provides! It's the perfect balance, in my opinion. If it's an upbeat café you're after, this husband+wife team at LuDy (named after the couple's 2 children) are bringing their Melbourne coffee culture to quaint Irvington, NY. They partner with Proud Mary Coffee to bring coffee to the masses, Flour Power from Pelham, NY to offer scrumptious baked goods and Spirit Tea. Judging by the number of people I found sitting at the tables chitchatting with their friends/co-workers, etc during my Tuesday 11am visit, this is the place for a hangout over bites and beverages. But do also know, LuDy is loud. I'm not sure if people nowadays know common conversation 101 courtesy using a normal volume. Anyhow. Since their June '24 opening, LuDy's owner is setting himself apart in the community and is the epitome of a friendly neighborhood cafe. And service from him, the morning I was here, was pure gentlemanly as he located a chair for me to sit at one of the empty tables. Thank you! My hibiscus+lemongrass+ ginger root 'Rosella Tonic' iced tea was refreshing. What would've taken my hot chocolate (made with a chocolate sauce) to the next level would've been a darker chocolate kind. But the barista zhuzhed up my drink with a pattern like it was coffee. Thank you again!

We felt warmly welcomed into this tight-knit community coffee shop, and even felt as though we were remembered from day-to-day as we came back. It's a family run business, where "Mom" is in the back baking up treats, the daughter(s?) were out front serving customers and making drinks. One thing that caught me off-guard, was after a couple sleepy mornings of getting coffees and baked goods, over the weekend, the influx of cyclists was incredible! I didn't realize that Piermont was along a very popular cycling route, and Bunbury's was clearly a favorite stop of the cyclists! It was really cool, and the employees didn't skip a beat - they were moving everyone along very efficiently, and still delivered top notch service! I'd highly recommend Bunbury's Coffee Shop to anyone in the area seeking a delicious, freshly prepared drink, or fresh baked goods!
